Once I verified the voucher, the WhatsApp exchange was set up and the customer service team verified the booking as per my request very quickly.

I appreciate the diversity of your service offering. However, my experience with the pricing and booking process was disappointing.

What I did not expect—and did not find acceptable—were the hidden costs associated with the gift. I was initially asked to pay an AED 50 “upgrade” fee, which increased to AED 90 shortly after, and then to AED 171 right before completing the booking, which I ultimately paid. I was informed that these charges are applied by WonderGift partners; however, from a customer perspective, this distinction is irrelevant. The responsibility for transparency lies with you.

More importantly, the term “upgrade” typically implies added value in exchange for a premium. In this case, the fee was effectively mandatory to secure the booking, with no additional benefit provided.

The experience was further impacted by operational inefficiencies. After paying the AED 171, I only received booking confirmation two days later. By that point, I had to consider alternative plans. When I inquired about the cancellation policy, I was directed to call a number. The agent then asked to follow up via WhatsApp, where I was repeatedly asked to provide proof of payment for the same AED 171 fee.

Overall, the process felt disjointed, non-transparent, and frankly undermined trust in the service.

On a constructive note, I would be happy to share perspective on how to strengthen your customer journey and avoid similar issues in the future

From the first interaction how may i assist you? which was a promise that reflected her enthusiasm to ensure i get to redeem my voucher before the deadline & get the ideal service of it. I applaud her for the patience throughout the options which i wanted. Not only did she go an extra mile communicating back & forth from the preferred dates & timings but as well as the perfect place to indulge in that long awaited Spa date. I would've gave up but having her help through it was definately a need not want.
