New car purchase Kia East Kilbride
Purchased a new car from Jamie at Kia East Kilbride . The process was straight forward and Jamie was very helpful and attentive . All round a very positive experience .
inefficient and incapable
Called in to arrange a service on my one year old KIA. Parks answer the phone, tell me service receptionist is busy but take my number and tell me they'll call me back. Nothing. Next day the same thing? I called the 3rd day and again the receptionist is busy, she'll call you back and I told them straight thats the same bullsh1t as the last two days and hung up. Called Parks Coatbridge, the next closest dealer and exactly the same thing, so I called Arnold Clark Linwood Kia and got booked in immediately for a service which was done on the 13th May 2025. I wont be wasting my time with Parks again
Parks Omoda/Jaecoo - Motherwell
Bought new Omoda E5 at Parks in Motherwell, great communication with sales rep Jack via email to begin and then in person at the dealership.
Seamless process from trade in to driving away in less than a week.
Highly recommended.
Just bought a used Hyundai from Parks…
Just bought a used Hyundai from Parks East Kilbride, Jay and Liam from the Suzuki dealership were excellent in showing us cars and explaining the the equipment. They ensured that all the paperwork for the trade in, road taxing, and informing DVLA was done so making the process very easy from my point. I can recommend them if you are on the market for a car.
Skoda - Impeccable Service
Skoda Parks of Hamilton - Impeccable Service
We had a Skoda Octavia that required urgent warranty work, we initially called a local Skoda branch and they told me would be 22nd June before they could even see the car. Quick call to Gerry at Parks Skoda, He asks me to drop the car off and he’ll get it into the workshop at the earliest opportunity. Car dropped off 7th May and returned to us fully repaired on the 12th of May. It wasn’t exactly a small job, gearbox needed removed plus another couple issues. All work completed under warranty.
This is the level of service a dealership should be delivering. A genuine 10/10 for Service!
Parks Kia Coatbridge First Class Service
This is the second time I have used Kia Service in Coatbridge. Amazing, first class service. I booked it online with Kia. First time I waited for the service, staff all Very friendly and helpful, showroom lovely. Decided to go back again for my major service and Mot, this time I arranged for a free collection and delivery service. Again BRILLIANT service. I got a call in the morning from the garage to confirm what my car was going in for and that the drivers would be leaving to collect shortly. 20 mins later the drivers arrived to collect my car. The driver was also very kind. I got a call to advise my car was complete and the drivers are returning my car shortly. Again very quick with the return. All staff are lovely, my car was washed and I was updated on the progress. My car is 6yrs old and I will be using this garage for any work my car needs. I have recommended this garage to my parents and brother (also Kia owners) they are going to use this garage as well.
Highly recommended.
Thank you

very disappointing customer service
I took my Jaguar to what I thought was Peter Vardy Jaguar (PVJ), in Jan 2025 for a 144k/108 month service and to have an issue with the camera system investigated. I was then told that the branch had been bought by Park’s Motor Group.
Due to the changeover from PVJ to Park’s some of the IT systems were not fully working and as part of my service paper work, I received a handwritten scrap of paper indicating some potential future issues, one of which was my NS tyre was down to 3mm tread. I was also informed that two cameras had failed due to corrosion and that corrosion wouldn’t be covered under warranty. I however received no further information or options to take the repair forward, so £210+VAT spent on the camera investigation to tell me it was corrosion with no offer of a resolution.
A big surprize came on the 31st January when I returned the car for its MOT test just 24 days and 183 miles after it had been in for a £381.03 +VAT service. I was called by the service department to inform me that there were cords showing on the NSF tyre. In the grand total of just 24 days and 183 miles my trye had gone from 3mm to cords showing. I find it difficult to believe that in such a short milage the tyre would have gone from acceptable and legal to very dangerous and illegal. I was called to inform me of this and I agreed for a new trye to be fitted. I was called again after the MOT was completed to further inform me that my wheel had been damaged in the process of mounting the new tyre.
When I arrived at the branch to collect my car and see the damage, I put forward my disappointment regarding the state of the tyre cf. from safe to dangerous and was informed ‘that I could speak to someone’ but the laid back shoulder shrugging gave me no indication that I would be taken seriously, and I was extremely angry and frustrated and felt that I was not in the right frame of mind, so declined the offer. I was informed that the damage was done by ‘the apprentice’. I don’t feel ‘the apprentice’ is singularly at fault, as everyone must learn, but at approximately £1500 per wheel, the apprentice should have been supervised by a fully competent member of staff at least.
I discussed getting the wheel repaired and was offered the opportunity to have it looked at by Park’s bodyshop, but to ensure durability and colour match I agreed to contact my own powder coater for an estimate and that I would be happy for ‘the apprentice’ to reimburse me for the cost and that Park's would facilitate this from Park’s side.
I left the garage and on my journey home the TPMS warning indicated low pressure on the NSF trye, so I went to a garage to use the inflator. It was when I was checking the trye pressures on all four wheels that I noted that there was very similar damage to the NSF wheel on the NSR wheel. On both wheels there was no damage to the tyre indicating that there had been no kerb damage and the wheel was not damaged before it was entrusted to Park’s. I was informed that he/we should have had a walk around the vehicle before I handed the keys over, but this did not happen. I was also informed me that there were no kerbs on site, despite the fact that you can see kerbs from the gate at the rear of the building.

I got a new car from Parks East Kilbride
Salesman Jordan Craig.
Jordan was very helpful and not pushy, giving me time to go over the deal.
When I decided to proceed and get the car Jordan went above and beyond to make the transition very easy and without any hassle.
Thanks Jordan
Went to Parks Ford in Stirling to order…
Went to Parks Ford in Stirling to order my new car. Compromised on colour and extras to get the car quicker, was told approx 1 week. 8 weeks later car still not arrived and sales guys at Parks have no idea when it will arrive.
Guys all pleasant enough but communication terrible, as is the blatant lie telling when you can speak to someone. Have cancelled my order. Won’t use them again, overall terrible experience.
warranty repair…
Booked kia in for warranty repair @Parks East Kilbride. Ignition barrel failure on a 40k miles Kia and battery discharge too. Parks have replaced barrell but not the battery. They have now advised i take the car away not checked or road tested. Everyone i have spoken with could not care less at Parks or Kia. Parks want £275 .0
for a battery. What an unacceptable service 3 weeks later still no car

I've purchased a number of cars from…
I've purchased a number of cars from Parks at Nerston in East Kilbride, and have always found them to be straightforward and easy to deal with. Today was no different, Steve McDonald at Parks Suzuki kept me informed and up to date on vehicle preparation, and made the whole process simple and informative. Excellent customer service,
Parks Brechin Renault bittersweet experience
Not quite the car buying experience I expected buying from a Renault main dealer, not the worst but let down mainly by communication.
My wife bought a used car from the Brechin branch about a year ago, all in all a good experience, this prompted me to buy a car there recently.
I test drove two cars a few days apart, all great, both salesman were proactive and friendly.
I decided on a 2016 Renault Captur, happy they were the main dealer, on inspection I noticed a torn window seal and was pleased to be told they'd fix it, plus it'd get serviced and the alloys refurbished. Being a Renault main dealer this offer to service the car was for me a big plus.
Happy with that I placed a deposit, upon collection I was pleased to see the car presented well and the alloys were indeed refurbished.
Unfortunately the seal had not been replaced but was booked in a few days after.
The seal was replaced as promised but I noticed the service book not stamped, the salesman said the service dept had forgotten to stamp it, I asked if they would do only to be told sorry it wasn't serviced as the book showed one five months previous, (at a tyre shop)!
Disappointed I made attempts to contact the salesman, communication then became slow with me chasing for an answer.
Eventually I was informed policy was if serviced within 6 months it would not be done, despite me being assured it would at the point of sale.
When cleaning the car a week after collection I noticed a rubber seal missing at the bottom of the door, again I made efforts to contact sales, after several days of chasing an email came telling me it won't be replaced due to the age and miles. I replied asking if they could order it for me to buy, days passed, I phoned with promises of a call but nothing.
I'm pretty certain if I'd have spotted it before the sale it would have been done.
I serviced the car myself for peace of mind, I have ordered the missing seal myself. All at my cost within a week of buying it.
I am happy with the car, just not so happy with the big difference in communication or willingness to help once I'd bought it.
I would have thought after spending 15k there on two cars they wouldn't have refused to supply a missing rubber trim worth £45 a week after buying the car, especially after being misled about the service.
Kia Coatbridge
Recently bought a new Kia Ceed from Parks Coatbridge. Nicky dealt with the whole thing and made it super easy and hassle free. The manager Steven spoke to us as well and managed to get the price down further and gave me an amazing price for my trade in….although still waiting for my floor mats ;-)
Picked the car up a few days later and had no issues or queries since. Although I’m not local I’d recommend these guys if you’re looking for a Kia.
Parks Landrover Aberdeen
Parks Landrover Aberdeen. Rangerover sport D3000HSE broken down with 25000mls needs new engine. Very helpful at start given hired car then asked to return car then given a skoda car filthy and smelly drove it for 5mls car hadn't any power took it back to landrover and they said they had no other car for us.I am disabled and was left stranded at the garage and had to get a lift home from my son 25mls away I now have no car for my hospital appointments.Shocking experience not even an offer of help to get home.
Ignorant and incompetent after sales.
Contacted Honda Service regarding a Safety Recall to be told they cannot book me in and they cannot accept a booking untill August. When I asked to book me on August, I was told to call back in June as August is full. This not making sense the cheeky phone attendant put the phone down on me. I have bought several cars from this group but that is the last. After sales with Parks Honda is abysmal. Stay clear of this franchise.
Incompetent or dishonest, your choice
2 weeks after a full service I had a blow out on the motorway. RAC said the tyre was damaged for months and my tracking was off. The service department should have noticed it. Also my brakes were needing done, once again Kia Coatbridge didn’t seem to notice it, no advisory or anything. They are either incompetent or are just taking the money and not actually servicing my car. Thats the second time I have found them to be lacking, there will not be a third time.
Do NOT buy a car from here
Do NOT buy a car from here. Bought a new Kia Picanto at £15k and it went faulty after a few days. Talked into buying another one with another one with another £4k additional payment and its been nothing but trouble. Taken it back several times and all they do is stick it on a diagnostic machine, haven't a clue.
Dont bother complaining on here all you will get is to contact them then you never hear anything back.
Currently sent onto newspapers and trading standards. I am a pensioner and decided to buy a new car for peace of mind and its been nothing but stress and anxiety
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
18 months of lies from service manager…
18 months of lies from service manager at Parks Coatbridge. In Oct 2023 a replacement part was ordered for our car (under warranty). For 6 months I phoned to enquire about the part to be told it was on order and I would be called when it was in stock. Eventually I asked for this to be looked into further to be advised that the part was infact never ordered 6 months previously and I had been lied to for 6 months waiting on a part that wasn't ordered. The parts manager then assured me we were in the priority list and would again be called when the part arrived. In Aug 2024 we went to the branch in person to enquire about the part to again be told by the parts manager we were his priority. Months passed again and I was on several occasions promised a phone call after they spoke to Mitshibishi about availability of the part. At no point did I ever recieve the promised phone call. Every single piece of correspondence with Parks was when I phoned them. Today I contacted head office to complain and within 3 hours my car was at Parks Coatbridge having the part they claim is put of stock world wide fitted to my car. This isn't a coincidence and proves Parks Coatbridge have lied to us for 18 months as they wanted to avoid fixing under warranty. Total disgrace.
