Had a meal at the boatyard at Vauxhall holiday park. The staff were so happy and friendly. I had the Thai veggie curry which was lovely. Thank you Lucie

Further to my original complaint ref 251979 I would refer you to Consumer Rights Act which states.The goods must match the description in sample or model.
State and condition,Fit for purpose,Appearance and finish,Free from minor defects,Safety and durability.
If you visit my original review letter to Park Dean you will find all these were applicable.

Nice clean site. Friendly staff. I booked a 3 bedroom lodge but was up graded to a 4 bedroom I feel I should have been given the choice of upgrade because I found it very big for two of us. The bathroom smelled musty/damp

booking process was quite simple, how ever you cant book multiple caravans all at one time online.
Also when you get to the end of the booking and pay.
You then recieve confirmation, when you go to check in on line as they suggest you do , you are asked to scan your passport and to do a facial scan as the lead guest.
Can someone explain the reason this is need. As when you collect your keys you have to show ID any way.
Had i known about the facial scan ect i would not have booked, by the time i got that far id already booked and would have lost my money. It needs to be at the beginning of booking you are told clearly you will be required to scan your face and passport.......... also i booked 3 caravans, if the other guest arrive before me they cant collect the keys without me , which is ridiculous because we are coming from different parts of the country and cant arrive at same.

Really easy to book we will see what the overall experience is once stay at the caravan see if clean and clean bedding

Everything was first class accommodation was clean and everything we needed was there activities was good drink was priced well really enjoyed our stay and the caravan for 5days was so cheap will b back well done everyone

We have booked Lymfitt holiday Park every year for the past 12 years and always have had a really positive experience. We’ve booked through a few companies but usually Sykes. This year we booked through Parkdean as they offered a discount of £50.00 which covered the cost of our dog. So I used the code & booked through them, otherwise. I would have booked with Sykes. Once I reached payment, their system didn't take the discount off & charged full price. I contacted customer service who just said there was nothing they could do once payment had gone through. So after repeatedly contacting them, pointing out it was their system error & if they don't honour the discount, it's false advertising, they agreed to refund me the £50.00. They then sent me an email saying how much I had paid and showed the total cost should be £50.00 less & said it would take up to 10 days to go back into my account. It has been over 2 wks & nothing. Each time I contact them whether it's 9am, 11.30am, 3pm or 5pm they always have a waiting time of 40 minutes.. I stay on the call and then nothing. No response, No refund, False advertising.. So that's Parkdean for you!

Don't understand while the site is full of empty pitches, I was allocated the corner pitch M41 just fronting the main access doing a 'porter' role losing the precious privacy and calmness needed most in a holiday. However, I have to say the staff in the site, particularly the one looking after the pitches and toilet, are very helpful.

Booking online was easy and straightforward. I was able to find availability and make my choice quickly to make my booking.

Silver caravan not well maintained. It was not cleaned properly. Dirty dishes just put back on the cupboard, hairs in the shower, shower head connector broken too. Had to perform DIY myself because your maintenence team just couldn't be bothered to rectify the issue that the cooker overhead extraction wasn't working (it only needed a 3A fuse putting in!!!). Reported several times to security out of hours because I work through the day in lancaster hospital but nothing happened. This was a complete disgrace. Evening entertainer was shocking as well the trouper murdered some of my favourite songs and I left early from the complex. I suggest parkdean gives me a free week stay to apologise, but they're probably not going to do that :/

Never again, back to hoseasons. It started terrible, and got worse, that we left 4 days early. We booked a week away at their White Cross Bay Holiday Park. Check in was supposed to be 4pm. Loads of people turned up early, as you do. People had to double park causing mayhem. The desk staff where adamant that no one would be checked in till after 4pm. We qued up to check in after 4 o'clock, only to be told, that they where still cleaning the room. I was told to come back in 10 mins. 20 mins later after joining the que again. Told the same as last time. I couldn't help feeling that the young boy behind the desk was getting an achievement, and enjoyment on telling people that the room wasn't ready. Maybe he was trying to impress one of the young girls behind the counter? The irony was, that the reason for us waiting over an hour for our room was. They are finishing cleaning. ( I wish I could put up pictures of their standard of cleaning) We eventually got into this so called clean room 😆 And carried on with our time away. First night, between 2am, and 3 am. The caravan next to us, must have had builders staying there, as they rocked up at 2.19 am slamming van doors, moving tools in to the caravan. This went on for over an hour. This was the same routine every night. Last night was the final straw. Not only did we have the builders making noise. We had a chirp from the smoke detectors, every minute. In the middle of the night, it got really cold, and dropped to 10 degrees. We went to turn the heating up. Only to find that the heating didn't work. That was it. We packed up, and left 4 days early. I will never stay at a parkdean resort again. The staff a mainly kids, obviously, cheap labour, and no standards. That could be seen with the state of the so called clean caravan, and attitude from the customer service desk, when checking in.

I had complaint going with parkdean my stay this year on how dirty the caravan was on isle of wight thier responce was basic if you dont like it look for other sites not good

All round very good staff helpful toilets for the touring pitches needs a re vamp ceiling fell down while was showering and need a Clean …

I wouldn't recommend complaining to parkdean as they are useless I complained to trecco bay reception as I had a problem with a whirring sound out side my lodge it went on all night and it then the whirring sound stopped about 7:30 am in the morning and then next morning it went off again they were very unhelpful at trecco bay reception i then made a complaint to the complaints team via email and they said they pass it on to the management team. I accidentally missed the call from Trecco Bay management Team and they then emailed me to ask for my availability. I provided them my availability and they did not call me back. I have then spoke to an out of our security guard who have provided my name and number to reception on a piece of paper and I’ve left a voicemail to reception and still nothing so I have complained to trecco Bay reception via email and to the complaints relation team this Isnt good enough i want to speak to someone

Well equipped and warm caravan.
Excellent reception staff.
Mostly quiet, although occasional noise from the road.
Within easy walking distance of the interesting coastline, although there is an initial 100yards along the busy road.
Its 2km to the town.
Its not always possible to park exactly at your caravan.
The swimming pool looked good.

When you speak to customer services, they have a habit of telling you one thing, you then think you’re paying one price, but when they send the holiday confirmation through, they’ve charged a different price. their locations are good, but their service is pretty rubbish

We stayed at Bidefort and site and accommodation not fit for purpose. Our first caravan was so damp, beds damp, sofa damp. To be fair once we made staff aware they found another caravan that we moved in the following day.
The club house not too bad, but virtually no live entertainment and prices typically rip off Britain prices.
I was particularly disappointed that very difficult to give dogs a good walk.. Caravan areas not able to walk from one to another without walking along the main site road. Very dark at night time .
I couldn’t recommend this site.

Visited parkdean Torquay for the 5th time with my family for a week's holiday. Lauren and her entertainment team are brilliant going above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your holiday. Faced with various issues during our stay Lauren over came them like a true professional the show went on. Even coming up and apologising when there wasn't a lot of kids. They still did the whole programme and my kids enjoyed it. Everyone on the park from security,bar staff , entertainment and grounds staff are all friendly and make your stay worthwhile. Yes the parks small yes it's not everyone but for me it has everything we need as a family and is local to all surrounding attractions IE paighton torquey babbacombe etc. brilliant place and I'll definitely be back for a 6th time.
