The park at Eyemouth is a gem lovley park well looked after. We go every year. Love it Eyemouth is lovley.

Had such an amazing time at Sunnydale the park it self was lovely & clean the swimming pool was nice and clean perfect temperature as well we stayed in the 3 bedroom silver caravan was absolutely spotless cannot fault it at all staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble Hayden the entertainment manager is truly wonderful such an amazing guy always makes time to speak to everyone such a laugh as well Sunnydale gave my family a truly amazing experience lovely holiday we will definitely be returning

Vauxhall is a lovely site with loads to do as adults or as a family the site was clean we stayed in a lovely caravan it was a first at this site and definitely will come again

Easy to navigate website. Though payment option difficult.

This place was superb caravan was lovely and the lakes are great I have just left 8 days ago and already booked for next year been coming to Cornwall now for the last 10 years been all over in caravan parks for holidays but this place was best by far thank you very much and il see you next year

Importantly the pictures of the caravans are only illustrative and not the actual caravan you might get so you do get a caravan but not necessary the one you see and pay for so be ready for disappointment when you turn up for your stay paid for gold premium 3 caravan thinking has decking at the side and front French doors opening onto decking in the front of the caravan no just had side decking spoke to reception could not change caravan think it might be a good idea if park dean could actually show pictures of the actual caravan you will be getting instead of a lucky dip for the money you pay .

We stayed at barmston beach site and even though the setting was in a beautiful area and easy access to the beach.
Overall not the best experience, carpet was stained and shower mouldy. Bed was uncomfy and I paid for silver caravan and it was nothing like the pictures. Will not be using parkdean again and to be honest I would even request a refund. We had two days of power cuts also and no emergency lighting or provisions where provided. I witnessed a young lady and child being told to go to bridlington for food by one of your hosts, really bad customer service.

My wife started vomitting blood and had blood diahreah the night before we were due to leave for Tummel holiday park. Understandably, I was in A&E all night whilst she was admitted and then transferred for an emergengy endoscopy. I was unable to contact Park Dean until the next day, our day of travel. The extra star is for the CS who were very kind, but unable to override company policy they stated as same day a medical emergency means ParkDean will not refund or credit for a further holiday. I was hoping she may be well enough to even take half the holiday, but she is still in hospital, and unlikely to be discharged or able to travel.

I did not expect a refund, but a credit note would have meant that parkdean would not have lost out, and shown some compassion, we had found their resorts good for the last 2 years and had intended to use them twice a year, as we had this year, for the forseeable future. As you can imagine, we will look for another resort now. Parkdean may have recovered £600, but in the long run, lost £6000 or more.

Once again, The customer service were kind and understanding. We enjoyed our stays previoysly, and it is just my personal experience on this occassion. My advice is that if you are in a life threatening situation, try to find 5 mins to call parkdean, my wifes started vomiting blood at 11pm.

** update. A lovely lady called Mandy called me. She was very sympathetic, once she understood the full situation, and that my wife is still in hospital, so we were not able to go, she arranged another date for the Holiday. This was welcome news in a very worrying time. Thank you, Mandy. We were campers, but getting too old for that now, so will be choosing park dean for our holidays froom now on :)

Easy friendly check in. Caravan smelt of dogs, even though no pets allowed. Couldn’t see out of the side windows. Bed was damp. Left after one night. Caravans are really close together. Area is stunning and west bay itself is lovely. Ate at the local pub for Sunday lunch, well recommended.

This is a small site but it had everything you would expect from Parkdean, only on a smaller scale. The caravan was clean on the face of it but probably could have benefited from a full deep clean.

We arrived after reception closed, however a very friendly and helpful member of security staff checked us in. We also received a courtesy call the day after check in to make sure everything was ok which was a nice touch.

I booked this break 2 days before arriving and my only criteria was that it needed to be no more than 2 hours from home, however having now stayed at this park I would stay again as a base for exploring the area further.

Lovely site. Swimming pool absolutely brilliant as were the child aqua jets and water skis. Very good value for money and the site is very nicely maintained. We got a late deal and it was an absolute bargain!

We had a lovely 2 night stay in July '26 In our campervan and decided to visit again last weekend with our daughter and her family. Unfortunately it was a totally different experience and although we enjoyed the facilities - kids evening entertaiment, soft play and swimming, etc it was spoilt by the really noisy camping area until the early hours, water fountains left running all night, dirty outside food/drink areas and general lack of maintenance all over the site.
I don't think we'd return !!

Disappointing holiday and poor response to our complaint

We paid £2,329 for a two-week family holiday at Parkdean Carmarthen Bay, but unfortunately the accommodation fell well below expectations.

We experienced numerous issues, including broken dining chairs and sofa so we had limited areas to sit, stained bedding and mattresses with no mattress protectors and small sheets which didn’t fit, dirty headboards, faulty curtains/blind and poor water pressure so we couldn’t use toilets, taps when someone was showering.

Two of the most frustrating issues was the rust from the towel rail, ruined our son’s new swim top. We also had overflowing bins directly outside our lodge, with food and rubbish around the area, meaning we had to walk through food and waste just to get to our door. Seagulls were regularly taking the opportunity to scavenge.

Some issues were addressed, but several were not. We reported the problems during our stay and gave Parkdean the opportunity to put things right.

We made a formal complaint and requested compensation. Parkdean acknowledged that the issues had detracted from our enjoyment of the holiday, but ultimately refused to offer any compensation.

We are now pursuing the matter through ABTOT’s ADR process.

Very disappointing experience, particularly given the amount paid and the way our complaint was handled.

Lovely holiday been coming here 26 years now since was a child and my children and grandparents we love holywell bay site

The staff were fantastic, couldn't be more helpful if they tried. Clean Chalet, everything I needed was present and fully working. Really enjoyed my stay.

We were allocated a dirty flat with a lot of them with boarded up windows , questionable stains on sofas dirty oven and very dusty ,we had booked a gold caravan and wanted a caravan holiday but when we arrived a carbon dioxide alarm was going off so we were allocated the sub standard flat because we were told there were no empty caravans which I found hard to believe being September. I will never go back there

So easy and affordable

Booking resort accommodation and ferry crossings were extremely easy.

Easy check in, staff very helpfull, easy walking distance to Nairn, entertainment was very good. Large site for our motorhome. Facilities very clean and well looked after.
Could not ask for anything more would recommend this site.
