Booking is fine and have stayed at a number of touring sites which have been excellent. Especially Eyemouth. . Crimdon dene is disgusting though. Launderette was filthy, showers and toilets not clean. A jcb doing work on the pitches, which they could have left to the end of the season. So noisy and dusty. Just what you want on a break. Booked 2 nights would not have stayed longer. Never go to Crimdon dene! The manager needs reprimanding for letting it get in that state. Obviously she never inspected the touring facilities. It was an accumulation of weeks of filth especially the launderette as I said. Have photos to verify

We arrived at Parkdean, Holywell Bay last Friday and were extremely disappointed with our pet friendly caravan, which had disgusting paw/wee marks all over the furniture! (Why do people allow this to happen?) we take our own clean, quality throws to place on the furniture we think our dog will jump and it works! However, I was NOT prepared to stay in this particular caravan and spoke to Kitty ( cleaning manager) and within minutes, she transferred us to a spectacular van which enabled us to enjoy our holiday in a lovely position! The professionalism of the staff at Parkdean is spectacular on this site and I would challenge those who have reviewed otherwise as we return year after year to this site! Just remember, if you take pets or children, be respectful to the van! As just you’ve paid for it, it doesn’t mean you have to trash it!
Staff that are exceptional that I feel need a good review:
Manager: Michael who is warm, friendly with exceptional customer service (so much better than his predecessor) and he gives warm hugs!
Manager of cleaning: Kitty received a bad review and I CANNOT understand why as she is extremely professional, polite and friendly and delivers a first class service! We have dealt with her for a couple of years and thanks to Kitty, she made our holiday’s brilliant!
We have booked again for May and thanks to Michael and Kitty, we know we will be well positioned and looked after!
Other staff who were extremely good/helpful!
Louise who works in the bar should be made a manager as her customer service and banter is beyond brilliant and we are looking forward to seeing her in May! She goes way and beyond too!
Joe, Matt, Dan and Cameron were extremely good with the maintenance also!
I cannot recommend this site and the staff enough as it’s unusual to have so many with first class customer service!

We booked a holiday at parkdean Kessingland on there web site. Given the the opertunity to choose a Bronze style,£210. Silver £310.Gold style £420. Chose the best gold one. On arrival we're allocated the Broze style. A 12 year old caravan that showed its age and condition.we queried this with reception and are told that advertised quality does not mean anything. Its allocated on footprint. So we paid £200 more than needed for this Caravan. I think this is against the trades discretion act. Please please please dont get caught like us with booking a Parkdean holiday

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe, the place was clean and tidy and was very spacious.

We would go back to the site just myself and wife however we would not go back with children.

Positives-
Spacious caravan
Beautiful views
Quiet
Staff were friendly

Negatives-
We had two showers however the main one did not work.
The swimming pool did not open once while we stayed which was our main reason for going to this time.
The bedding did not fit the beds all the beds bed sheets did not fit.

Ok.. let's start with the terrible new Website which was clearly designed to make easier Caravan allocation for the staff rather than user experience for the customer.
With the old website you could choose your caravan and decide what you needed; extra Toilet rather than ensuite or a middle living space for example. To quote the staff member on the end of the telephone line, it's 'pot luck' if you get an extra toilet.
Actually, the reason I phoned the booking staff wasn't to moan about the new rubbish website (although I did take the opportunity) it was to see if I could book an extra night over the weekend because in the past I have been able to do that. The answer was a clear 'computer says no' so I was pretty disappointed when I arrived on the site to see plenty of empty caravans so surely with a bit of flexibility it should have been possible, it would have made Parkdean a few extra pounds too! Moan over... please change your website Parkdean

Beautiful park but riddled in rats, static gold are beautiful, beds are comfy, short walk to the entertainment, baths hardly opened same with fish shop, never seen the ice cream shop open at all, it’s a massive park with a tiny entertainment area with a dozen amusements, Bar food wasn’t the best, reheated veg like rubber, no fish for Fish n chips, I expected it to decent went to pour the gravy out the jug it just plopped out in one lump it was that thick, it didn’t take long so food must just be pre cooked & warmed up, for the price I thought it would be nice, staff are very friendly, says no electric bikes or scooters but as usual certain family cannot read, would I go back definitely not, I would recommend people who loves walks on beach or long walks with your pooch as that’s all there is to do.

Been to Pendine lodge of times over the years. It is our happy place and we love it. We usually have a two bed lodge and we have never had a bad experience, they have always been of a very high standard and very clean. Any problems were quickly dealt with. Love it.

ID verification, what a joke.
The system doesn't work , I have contacted "Customer Services" and uploaded my ID through the link provided, got an answer saying they would contact me in 5/7 working days, just received another email asking for ID and a THREAT to cancel the break.
Obviously people not doing their job properly and consequently have lost our ongoing business.

booking was easy with good professional booking in agents..had a great time ..i am disabled in a wheel chair and i felt at ease and relaxed through out my holiday..fantastic accommidation..

been here since 2 pm paid £19 for early check in know 4-15 only just unpacked freezer full of ice hadn't been defrosted had to wait for someone to come and clean it caravan very small for 3 bedrooms kitchen area tiny for 6-8 people would never ever come back so disappointed .

Easy to navigate the site

Staff very polite, park is in a good location, and seems to be well maintained, apart from the shower block (Lower Hyde) it was not cleaned properly for the whole 2 weeks we were there, still the same piece of toilet paper stuck behind the seat. I formed the reception via txt, and was just told “we clean then everyday” to which I responded “well not properly then”, no response from them after that.
Also, after a week or so, the hot water stopped working, they fixed it for following day, but it then kept running out quickly.

Location and entertainment excellent and staff very good too .

Power cut on the first night. No way to cook the little ones food. All facilities was closed. Staff stood outside vaping or on their phone. It was Very quiet and close to the beach which was nice. There was Limited entertainment and the staff looked very deflated at times. Caravan was nice and clean.

Booked a Gold 2 bed unit at Sandylands and was lead by the wording on their website it was their gold standard, so expected patio doors, nice furnishings and the extras to make it special.
What we got was a smelly old 2010 model with no heating thermostat in the room, poor uncomfortable and unclean seating, basic kitchen with blocked sinks, tattered units with split veneer on most of them and damaged blinds.
Complained to reception but told that was the normal standard for gold so left. Stayed 1 night out of 4. Back to Haven in future.

Great holiday par, friendly staff especially in the bar and restaurant. Being Pet friendly made it for us

Stayed in our own camper van. The toilets were reasonable, although only one WC, and lots of mould on the silicon around the floor. A bit nervous about the public car park right next to our pitch, but it didn't cause a problem. Very disappointed that the pool (one of our reasons for booking) is closed altogether two days a week, and I suspect it will be hard to get in anyhow seeing the number of static vans on site. On a positive note, reception was good, you are right next to a gorgeous beach and the price is good.
