Don't order if you are in Scotland.
Your website states that you deliver to postcodes throughout the UK with some exceptions in the Highlands and Northern Ireland. After placing my order, which was very easy to do, with the seasonal produce I wanted for Prestwick (mainland Scotland south of Glasgow) it was cancelled by a very short email saying you don't deliver to my postcode and to "have a grape day" I get the sustainability issues around delivering far and wide, but your website needs to be clearer than this.

We are sorry that we had to cancel your order, we completely understand your frustration. We wish we could deliver to everyone! But unfortunately, we are restricted by some postcodes and yours is sadly one of them ☹️
As you mentioned, we do note on our website that we don't deliver to some areas and we do respond to all of our customers that check with us before ordering if we cover their area if unsure.
I can see that we did email you to say "Hi Elizabeth,
We’re very sorry but we have had to cancel your order because we don’t deliver to your postcode ☹

Ok experience
One of the items was not included in the order, which was a shame as it was part
of the "package"...and still waiting for my refund for the missing item. It was a gift to a friend who just had a surgery so I put a note, which was also never delivered 😕 However, my friend told the quality of the fruits was good and the pear she had was delicious.

Organic Delivery Company is great!
Since I have been ordering from the Organic delivery company I have been impressed by the range of products available and by the quality of the products.
Ordering is straight forward and delivery has always been punctual. I very much like the system of returnable boxes and always try to keep them in good condition. I frequently have questions about products and these are always dealt with promptly by email. There are one or two aspects of the website where I would like to see changes: when I last ordered, the weights/quantity of some items were not provided so I assumed they were much as they had been before and when I logged back in to view my last order I couldn't find a way to view it. I would also like to be able to build up my order over 2 or 3 days, i.e. choose my delivery date and then be given a deadline by which I would have to have carried out any amendments to the order. At present, once I have placed my order I can't access it again to add items.

Just what we needed!
easy and reasonably priced we've been getting the mixed veggies and fruit boxes every week and we couldn't be happier. We had a little hiccup on the first delivery where eggs were missing but customer service was fast and nice and since then there's been no trouble! It makes our weekly meals much easier to plan and it's such a nice feeling knowing that everything is organic, and tastes delicious!

Highly recommend, fantastic service!
I ordered turmeric root, ginger, sprouts and loose beetroot, I'm so happy with the quality of the produce , the beetroot has a delicious flavour, very clean and like it should taste. The turmeric is lovely fat pieces , superb. Great company and value for money, delivery on time as well!

This is the only purely vegetarian…
This is the only purely vegetarian company who do veg boxes - this is why I stay a customer, despite issues every 2-3 weeks with the driver not ringing the doorbell, an item not arriving and not being automatically refunded, or not knowing if delivery will be 6am till as late as midday until it shows up. The regular delivery driver is a star and always follows delivery instructions, plus being friendly and helpful.

We are sorry to hear that you have had some problems with your delivery experience ☹️ I can't seem to find your order on our system under your name here on your review. Could you please pop us an email at customercare@organicdeliverycompany.co.uk and we will of course look into this for you. We can then make sure we have the correct delivery instructions for you and raise this issue with the driver to avoid this happening again. It may be that this delivery was delivered by one of our temporary agency drivers which we do rely on occasionally whilst we are waiting for our new permanent driver to join the team.
For our London customers we use our own delivery drivers instead of DPD. Our drivers’ routes can change, so we can’t give an exact delivery window unfortunately and your delivery time can vary. Although, we do try to stick to the same time each week it can be a little later occasionally. We will always let you know as soon as possible if we aren't able to deliver your order on your selected date.
With regards to your item not arriving, any items available on our website at the time of you placing your order means that it is in stock. Unfortunately, some items can become unavailable when it comes to our packing team packing your order. As we pack all of our customers orders the day before delivery to ensure maximum freshness, this means that there can be some time between us receiving your order and it being packed by which time some items can sadly go out of stock. We receive regular deliveries from our farmers and suppliers, but occasionally we won't have time to add these to our order although we do try our best! We will always refund any items that you do not receive, please let us know if this happens again and we can get this sorted straight away for you ☺️

Usually I wouldn't give less than 4-5 stars. The majority of products have been 5 star excellent most of the time. Just this last time the apples and oranges were poor quality. The oranges dry, loose skins and bitter taste. The apples absolutely tasteless (to the compost bin with them). All other items in my order were high standard quality. Especially apricots and plums have been excellent.

At the moment we are in southern hemisphere apple season, we find that they aren’t as good as English apples but we do have customers that still want to eat apples this time of year even though it isn't really apple season, so we still sell them. We expect the return of English apples mid to late august so hopefully you enjoy these more when they come in 🍏
The same with the oranges, we are at the end of the European season and although most people relate oranges with summer, they are actually a winter fruit! 🍊

Thrilled with my first purchase
This was my first box purchased from the Organic Delivery Company after I became disillusioned with another well known company that I’ve been buying from for years. I am absolutely thrilled with my first box and will be buying regularly from now on. The amount of fruit in the box was really generous and the quality was excellent. The gentleman who delivered the box via DPD was helpful, on time and polite. Overall a very good buying experience!

Grape Service, Grape Produce
I placed my first OrganicDeliveryCompany order in 2021 and since then I haven’t looked back. I’ve moved from Glasgow to Manchester and now to London and all of my packages have been delivered to me with love and care. Save for some mishaps which have been as a result of the delivery companies/ drivers, I haven’t had any issues with the produce. Always fresh, crisp and juicy, you can trust what’s going into your body. As someone who comes from a generation of farmers, these are some of the best produce I have eaten!
