Wish I'd of just avoided Opus and continued my contract with Virgin. The router Opus provides is cheap garbage. I was at work when the technician came but when i returned i saw he'd wrote my SSID, password and acc info in hieroglyphics. I came home today and have red LED's flashing on the wall and no Internet. I called the number that shows up as being in Burnley but it was actually a call centre in Bangladesh. The lady told me that my Internet wasn't working because they had cut it off because I haven't made a payment in over a year when I only took the package out about a month ago. Ive already paid a bill before it had even been installed. I'll just stop paying my bill now and go back to Virgin. What a waste of money and time

signed up 13 august never received router until 5th September i tried to cancel contact was told I'm a month through contract even though got router dropped off on 5th September. service was so bad that internet speed and connection dropping at some point no internet when called for service help very un profession and threats saying ur in contract and tried to blame my setup for poor service. never again and would not recommend anyone to sign up with opas broadband

From start the engineer scotty was friendly and professional especially carrying out the installation, very pleased and would definitely recommend opus broadband i am a very fussy individual and I am very pleased with everything 😀

The internet is not great even with mesh system. The customer service is really bad takes ages to get through (almost an hour last time). Representatives often feel defensive and don't seem to listen. I am going to be exiting my contract early the penalties are worth it just to get different provider. I would strongly advise people to avoid. This company used to be 6g and had very poor rating and has changed name and now boast about it's high rating.....they never did follow up. We leave today after continuing issues. I have read the review on here and they seem dubious at the very least. 5* reviews with little info from single time users. Be cautious.

Scotty - he came out on Monday but was unable to get on the roof due to high winds, he’s came and did what he needed today. No concerns with him, just not happy with how I’ve been treated by the customer service side and still waiting for an update.
An update the internet managed to get sorted out and the outstanding balance has now been taken off my account due to it not being my fault. Happy it’s been sorted

Really polite, helpful, professional, explained everything to my satisfaction and making sure I understood everything. Great to deal with a helpful local company that really looks after you. Very professional Engineer service, fast speeds, totally reliable and great to be a name , not just a number like in the big companies. Into my third year now and things just keep getting better with more advanced upgrades. Would recommend Opus to everyone.

Appalling customer service. I emailed asking if they could check availability for my address as I couldn't do it online without providing my phone number. They took over 6Gi/6G Internet, and when I tried finding availability at 6Gi, they repeatedly called me, multiple times a day, for weeks - I didn't want this to happen again, which is why I emailed, as I'd rather have a written quote to consider due to being autistic and having ADHD. I really struggle with phone calls and can't process verbal information as well as I can process written information. Opus Broadband's response to my polite request to see if there's anything available for my address? One word: "SPAM". That's all that was sent back to me. I know what company not to use now, and I'm actually flabbergasted that they thought this was an appropriate response to an email requesting an adjustment in contact methods due to not handling phone calls well.

Got my 100mbps broadband, its faster than my 300mbps before at virgin, Ross and his team did a good job.

Had this broadband over a year and quite frankly it’s not a service I would recommend to a friend I’ve had loss of service a few times communication I think is poor when broadband is down on the upside you can easily get through to the tech department with an apology waiting for you in my case not much else my opinion think twice

Hi guys
I got my opus broadband 2 days ago and ive not really used it yet as I'm still on my previous provider at the moment but the I turned will have a good use this weekend.
I have 1 good mention to the guy who fitted my router. He was amazing. Very kind and considerate and as quiet as could be with having a baby with me. He explained everything clear and easy to understand and cleaned up basic messes before he left. This guy deserves a pay rise!!
Now the negative feedback.
Unfortunately the person/people who do the scheduling i personally think need retraining. My appointment was changed 4 times and I was finally scheduled in... for an afternoon... right in the middle of the baby's nap time even though I requested multiple times I needed a morning appointment. If there was retraining or at least an understanding that certain people can only do certain times I would raise my review to 5 stars.
All in all, the installer was amazing but the head office has some improvements to make
