I strongly advise against shopping at…

I strongly advise against shopping at Nutriessential. They use deceptive pricing and illegal billing practices.
I placed an international order and paid the full amount at checkout, including a $30 shipping fee.(deliver to Singapore ). However, once they had my card details, they processed an additional unauthorized transaction of $48.05 without my consent or any 3D-secure verification.
When I contacted customer service to dispute this, they cited a "weight policy" hidden in their terms and refused to refund the money. To make matters worse, they began threatening me with "recovery fees" when I mentioned filing a dispute with my bank.
Charging a customer's card a second time without their explicit authorization is a direct violation of payment processing rules. This is not a "shipping adjustment"; it is an unauthorized withdrawal of funds.
Avoid this store if you value your financial security.

Buy from a better company

No need to repeat the concerns regarding their conduct. If you by from them just know they will charge you USD100 to post a 3 pound package after you have already paid for your order and shipping in full. Just buy from somewhere else and save yourself the hassle. @Nutriessential keep your genetic BS response to yourself, no one reads it and decides to purchase from you after reading all your 1 date reviews here.

EDIT: @Nutriessential when the only information you provide about shipping says “shipping and taxes calculated at checkout” and then you calculate and charge shipping at checkout you have entered a agreement you can no longer unilaterally change. To use your own words from other replies to the same issue “we understand” that you understand your own shipping policy and that when you say “shipping and taxes calculated at checkout” then you don’t adhere to this you are breaching the commitments you make during the purchasing process. Given the number of times you have replied to customers about this issue you are clearly 100% aware of the issue. I think there is a word for that kind of conduct!

When an order is placed, an initial estimated shipping amount is charged based on a base weight of 0.41 lb and the destination country. This estimate is clearly mentioned during checkout. Since customers may add multiple products or different quantities, the final package weight and dimensions are only known after the order is packed.

Once the order is prepared and our carrier partner generates the official shipping label, the actual shipping cost is calculated based on the final weight, package dimensions, and destination. If there is a difference between the estimated and actual shipping cost, the remaining amount is charged accordingly. This is a standard practice for many international shipments where real-time carrier costs vary significantly.

In your case, the additional shipping charge reflected the actual carrier cost for the final package weight and destination, not an arbitrary fee.

We always aim to maintain transparency with our customers and are happy to explain shipping charges whenever needed. If you would like us to review your order details together, please contact our support team directly and we will gladly assist you.

DO NOT USE! .They take your money and do not deliver! I placed an order and never received it. I contacted them and received a reply that it was a mix up and it will be resend. Fake tracking numbers leading to dead end. Months passed in waiting and now they don't reply to my emails.

Broken safety seal and poor customer response

I had a very disappointing experience with Nutriessential.

First, my order took a long time to ship. After waiting over a week just for it to be sent, the delivery process was already slower than expected.

When the package finally arrived, I discovered that one of the bottles had its inner safety seal broken and opened, and two bottles were missing the plastic exterior seal around the lid entirely. The seal also had strange markings, which made me very uncomfortable about the product’s safety.

I contacted the company and provided photos. Instead of addressing the issue properly, they suggested that customs inspectors may have opened the bottle. However, I contacted Canadian customs (CBSA) and they explained that when they inspect packages they reseal them with yellow inspection tape. My package had no inspection tape at all, meaning it was never opened by customs.

In other words, the product appears to have been shipped with compromised seals directly from the company.

This is extremely concerning when dealing with health supplements that people consume. Product integrity and safety seals are basic quality control standards.

Despite explaining this and providing evidence, the company did not take responsibility for sending a compromised product.

Because of the long shipping delay, broken safety seals, and poor customer support, I cannot recommend ordering from this company.

UPDATE: The image that was shared showing the customs seal is an example one I received from customs. It is NOT of the package I was sent. Furthermore, I attached this example picture to the email I sent Nutriessential, and they DID NOT respond. I have the emails to prove it. They never addressed it.

Regarding the image you shared, it clearly shows a label indicating that the package was opened by the Canada Border Services Agency. Please note that customs authorities may inspect international shipments as part of their regulatory procedures, and this process is completely outside of our control. All products shipped from our facility are sent sealed and undergo strict quality checks from the manufacturer before dispatch.

You also mentioned that the package had no inspection tape; however, the image you shared does indicate that the shipment was opened by the customs authority. Inspections by border agencies can sometimes result in packaging being opened during the process.
We sincerely request your understanding in this matter. Every review is very important to us because we work diligently to serve our customers in the best way possible. Feedback based on an order placed nearly two years ago can sometimes create a misunderstanding of the service we currently strive to provide.

They didn't ask if I wanted to pay more for the supposed shipping.
I authorized the purchase in my online purchase. I did not authorize future charges.
In the purchase there was the detailed freight and a tax rate tripled with reality. (said they would return the excess taxes collected in advance) They never did.

I went to iherb.com, made the same purchase, in 10 days and for a total of USD103 they delivered the medication without any problem.

What is the problem with you? Don't you read the comments here? Don't they learn from the mistakes they make?

Of course, FRAUD is very serious, that's why I take the time to explain here and alert other buyers.
International purchase? You will never receive it!

What an amazing experience

What an amazing experience. I made an order and was worried it will be delivered late as I was a out to travel, I asked to get the delivery expedited and thanks to Emily she was onto it, rescheduled the delivery date with FedEx and the package arrived one day early

Do not buy, no delivery or refund

I ordered my capsules on 9th Feb payment was taken on 10th Feb, its now 25th Feb and still no order. Customer service response has been poor. Accordingly the tracking my package has been at the couriers destination since 12th Feb, so I presume its been lost by now. I requested a refund yesterday but was told until the courier states they have lost it they cannot issue the refund. Very poor. Will purchase elsewhere in future.

Unauthorized Charges, Overpriced Shipping, Wrong Delivery, No Accountability

Very poor experience.

The package was delivered to the wrong country (USA instead of Australia). I was told it would be reshipped within 24 hours. More than 10 days later, there is still no tracking number, no confirmation, no update.

They do not offer refunds in this situation. An additional international shipping charge was applied without clear authorization. The total cost ended up higher than other suppliers, yet the service was significantly worse.

Shipping was extremely slow and unreasonable. For comparison, iHerb delivers to Sydney within 5 days. This order has been pending for over 6 weeks.

There is no phone support — only email — and responses are very slow. The lack of communication and accountability creates a strong sense of insecurity and distrust as a customer.

If this issue is properly resolved, I will update this review.

I did received a 39.99 charged because the delivery company charges that amount for delivery to Canada.
