Arranged for vehicle to be collected, so i took the day off work. they called me as they said they would. Met them at the garage. The car was blocked in by 2 cars, which were in the process of been moved. The rude arrogant driver, said he only had 10 minutes for this job and would not wait. He drove away. By this time both vehicles had been moved, but the driver had already gone, I called Motorhog and the lady who answered the phone couldn't have been more helpful, however then gorilla who I then spoke with confirmed my suspicions that they are ignorant cowboys. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Go to webuyanycar, alot better customer service

Fantastc! Hit a pothole....needed a new wheel. The guys at Motorhog were brilliant. Looked after me - found a new wheel in minutes and at an incredible price. Thank you! I can’t thank you enough and recommend you highly!

BEWARE! This company says it’s an auction of cars claiming to sell write-offs that are categorised and providing information as best as it can but flagrantly hiding behind its T&C’s that facilitates the misleading of the buyer. My experience was that they withhold information at best, and redefine the condition of the car. They go against the Consumers Act and attempt to cheat you into buying something that less than that advertised. This is a racket and I would not but a spare tyre from them let alone a car.

So maybe I should have read more carefully ,but on the auction page it says an additional processing fee of £40 will be charged .Won the auction for £150 then total fees including VAT came up to £126. Buyer beware the additional fees which are not clearly highlighted. Account has been suspended and the relist fee is £120. Motorhog hull

Doncaster motorhog is a joke,given wrong parts for car,ended up having to buy brand new ones because needed car asap for work so it cost me double,returned parts to motorhog for refund today,had to mess about sending emails to request a refund,now I'm getting fobbed off with that because nobody is in the office to authorise it..... absolutely a joke company,I've paid for parts that didn't fit returned them and still no money back SORT IT motorhog

I rang Motorhog to get a price for scrapping my car. A price was given in 30 seconds and after thinking about it for a day, I accepted and a pick up date and time was agreed. The truck arrived on time, the driver was friendly and efficient and the car taken away. The money arrived in my bank account the same day, so I can’t fault the service.

Extremely rude customer service, never recommend to anyone. I bought a car and they sold it without letting me know. Did not even make the effort to refund. Avoid them at any cost. Just to save yourself time and money.

I visited motorhog salvage site in Doncaster today to collect a vehicle the counter staff was dam bad manned for no reason to the customers and spoke down to the people in front of me . Manners cost nothing so please try to improve you customer relations training because I'll never use motorhog again .
The guys on the yard was wonderful and most helpful so thanks . I buy vehicles from all over the country and this was the worst I've seen by office staff .

I don’t want to leave any star for them, because Staffs are very rude and helpless, no one in the know how to talk to the customers, I’m business man my self, and my staff talk to my customers like that, I would show them the one way door, and because of the holidays I couldn’t pay and I want over by one hour, has to pay £60.00 for late fee. Disappointed not again motor hog, and highly NOT recommending TO ANYONE. Beware people.

I ordered a handbrake module for my Jaguar S-Type 2.7 L and provided them all the specifications and confirm with them and they said this is available they said before £100 and then VAT and then and delivery charges with ended up with £18 so the total but charged me £138 anf when it was delivered so the garage fixed it and it was worse than that then my part in my current car so then I have to return I have to pay additional labour to my car because this part has to be taken out from the car for return.the handbrake module was worst than,what I had already in my car.it was jamned,making noise.why motorhog has sent a defective part,which has costed me additional labour.they should pay for the garrage.

I would not recommend Motor Hog to anybody who buys or intends to buy from auctions. Last month, I have placed a bid of £20. Unfortunately, I have won this auction. Their fees even on the items of low value are set so high and from the beginning their plan is to charge for an old item the same amount of money as you would pay when buying new in the shop! And when it comes to a problem they do not seem to be competent enough to help you solve the problem. Very unprofessional approach to a client! If you want to overpay for an item or lose your money the best place for it is Motor Hog.

Replied to my email enquiry, and telephoned me the next day (as closed when email sent) .Excellent telephone manner, ordered item friday, told would be delivered on monday, got a text saturday morning to say being delivered today at 13.00 - 14.00. Arrived at 13.31, packaged well, cannot fault the service i received. Well done Motorhog

Just want to say a massive thankyou to Mark Porter at Doncaster, Excellent customer service and made it possible for me to get my car fixed the same day it broke! Couldn’t recommend enough! Thankyou!!

Offered me £285 for my car and said someone would be in touch to arrange collection. No-one got in touch.

I left it 4 days then rang the number on the website. Was told I needed to speak to the auction team, so rang another number. Was then told I needed to speak to the buying team and transferred before I could even take a breath in response. Finally, a decent member of staff managed to organise a collection. Everyone, other than the final person I spoke to was ignorant, abrupt and rude.

When they arrived to collect the car, another abrupt and surly staff member told me that despite me giving the car condition a 'poor' rating (the lowest I could have given it), they could only offer me £185 as they thought it was 'average' condition. I told them to forget it.

The entire point of Motorhog is to sell the vehicle quickly without any messing about. I've had a week of waiting, hassle dealing with them and finally a ridiculous offer based on either a staff member or a website's mistake. I could have sold the car for double their offer on ebay in the time I've spent messing about. That's exactly what I'll be doing now and certainly won't be using this joke of a company again.

Ordered a bonnet from this seller through parts gateway yesterday paid by credit card listing says delivered 2 to 3 days now can not contact seller through gate way error 4o4 phoned motor hog gave the girl the order number she said eBay .I never went through eBay. But the guy she put me through to said yes I phoned the eBay number . No I did not girl put me through .total mess now told next Thursday for delivery and paid £50 for this service . Avoid the mess go else where .£98 paid out
