Minicabit Mess
Took our booking and money. Then it was a mess. We got an email that said they changed mini cab providers and no other details changed. Apart from them actually booking in the return journey? Good job I checked as Minicabit booked our outbound trip with Primo travel but said they had booked the inward journey when they hadn't as Primo Travel didn't have the return journey or space. After speaking to a lady operator at Minicabit she managed to mess things up further by saying Primo were collecting us. I checked they weren't. So called Minicabit again to speak to the same lady who said they couldn't get a mini cab for the return journey so they had to book 2 taxis and only had one confirmed. Before we were picked up, the same lady from Minicabit called me to say Primo travel called and told them they would take the return journey and all we had to do was to confirm it with the minibus driver on the outward journey. We spoke to the minicab driver from Primo Travel Ozzy was his name. He told us Minicabit hadn't booked the return journey with them as they had no time slots available. I called the lady back at Minicabit who again said the return was booked with Primo. I told her I had the driver sat next to me who told me it wasn't booked. She called him as he was next to me and by the sound of things the lady from Minicabit got wires mixed and messed the whole return journey up by not understanding that Primo travel were not available. So we were back to having 2 taxis for the return journey again as the lady said she had one confirmed and they were waiting for another one and would let us know. (I had 16 emails with booking amendments in my inbox to add a bit of context).
After all of the above it took a hero from Pittsburgh to help us. This hero was Ozzy the driver for Primo Travel, they had been assigned the outward journey but not the return due to having no availability. Ozzy overheard the trouble I had with Minicabit and was aware of how much they had messed us around and told us to go the festival, had a good time and he would sort things out in the background. An that he did, Ozzy from Primo Travel not only sorted it out but accepted the return journey, borrowed a minicab from another colleague and came to pick us up when it was meant to be his day off! Some heroes don't wear capes, Ozzy was out hero that night. If it weren't for him we would have been stranded. If I was doing a review for Primo Travel it would have been 5 stars. But seeing as it's for Minicabit it's only 2 stars and would have been 1 if it were not for Ozzy. If you're reading this Ozzy, you're a great guy and incredible human being, don't ever change sir! You have my gratitude and respect, your humble and sober passenger Guesty.
Minicabit have replied to this review trying to blame the company Primo. The issues experienced were due to Minicabit messing up our booking and also the lady operator messing up the bookings due to getting her wires crossed with the minicab company. If it weren't for Primo Travel helping us we would have been stranded waiting for 2 taxis that were never confirmed. Minicabit and the lady operator completely made a mess of this so we won't be using them again!

Firstly, we'd like to apologise for the confusion and frustration caused in the lead-up to your journey. We completely understand how concerning it must have been regarding your return travel arrangements.
Having reviewed the booking, the cab provider, Primo, contacted us at 13:23 to confirm they were able to fulfil the return journey, and our team therefore correctly advised that the booking was being covered. It appears the issue arose when they did not assign the booking to one of their drivers, and instead letting you know they did not have the booking.
We're grateful that you brought this to our attention. We will be investigating this directly with the provider to understand exactly what happened and to help ensure similar situations do not occur in the future.

Really good
Really good, our flight landed on time but we were then left on the tarmac for an hour so our poor driver knew that we had landed and couldn’t understand where we were but he kept in constant contact and collected us as soon as we were finally through.

Definitely the driver, Ali Wasseem. Our flight had been delayed, then our baggage took over an hour to be collected. We were exhausted. Ali was terrific, from helping load and unload to driving the long distance to my rural home at nearly 2am, then having to return to Manchester. the booking process is also pretty good, although you should offer the good oldfashioned alternatives of cash payment and dare I
say, cheques!

Book a cab, pickup time should be 04:20, driver text me car broke down at 04:30. Rearrange another and claim arrive in 8 mins, at the end no show.
And there no refund. two days later, I message CS team, they have not update and only ask me to send a reminder email.

First impressions were positive
My first experience using this app was very positive.
Made a booking for collection at 2 o’clock in the morning from Gatwick airport having only called them an hour earlier.
They were there on time and the price was not extortionate.
