the caravan we stayed in was amazing which is more than I can say for the park we rented a caravan for activities which the park ended up canceling. we went to the swimming pool and I couldn't believe the state the changing rooms were in.I ended up walking out because I was not going to subject my children to that. We went to prestaven sands last year and what a difference it was a much more enjoyable experience

We met up with James Parkin today and bought a holiday home. His sales experience and service were second to none as was also with Libby.
We were mega pleased with our time with them and are looking forward to the time when we can take occupancy. Thank you very much for an amazing experience. Well recommended 👍

word of warning (security)

This is more of a word of warning
we arrived on Friday night after the office has closed
Due to this we had to collect our keys from the security office and then we had to find our caravan in the dark which isn't easy on such a large site especially if you haven't been before. As a family we had booked 3 caravans which were all in different location eventually we were all settled in after what seemed ages.
This is when the real problems started in the early hours of the morning we were woken by screaming and shouting outside our accommodation only to see a man lying on the floor with a number of police officers trying to restrain him. The screams were due to the fact that he had been pepper sprayed. Now I know the site cant be held responsible for the way the guest conduct themselves. But I do think the lack of security doesn't help.
Now this leads me onto the most serious incident at 1.30am on Monday morning we were woken by a large bang only to find 4 masked men trying to break into out accommodation to try and steal our car fortunately for us the combination of me shouting so loud and the fact that the door lock jammed meant that the door couldn't be opened.
Thankfully the masked men ran away when they couldn't get in.
we called security who took 10 mins to arrive after 2 phone calls only to be told could we call the police as we are on our way.
it took almost 2 further hours before finally the security decided they couldn't open the door and then smashed the large door window to get us out. we loaded the car and left at 4am shocked and very shaken.
This experience will take us a very long time to get over and put us off this site forever.
we are still waiting for someone to contact us form Lyons.
I also think they need a full review of the security process and procedures.

Great experience sales team are fantastic James Parkin helped us with our sale they walked us through the sale and the aftersales is great the amenities on the site are fantastic also a lot more to look forward to. Great site for kids and families close to theaters etc also on the site a lot to keep all happy cant recommend here enough

They have a radio advertisement that plays frequently on a National radio station about a chance to win a holiday at this park, It states to go to their website to enter, however there is nothing on the website about a chance to win a holiday. Have been reported to Advertising standards for false advertising.

Just got bk from lyons holiday Park in Towyn. The park itself is very nice and very clean and tidy.but the caravans let them down we had a silver caravan and it was not worth the money there were a few nights where it was freezing and there is no heating. Also the utensils were very poor caravans should be checked to make sure there is enough in them foe 8.also my tablet was bigger then the TV it was ridiculous. And the club is open to the public so we couldn't get in we were told they had a proper club a walk away of site .I would have liked to return to this park but think I'll go private unless the site owners up there game

Our caravan had a serious safety fault with the table basically almost came apart. Took 4 days to get fixed and multiple phone calls and emails. Complained when we arrived home took 10 days for a response and not even an apology. Shocking customer service and a dangerous caravan. I don't even want to give them 1 star

We came back this morning, after arriving 13th Aug, the price paid we expected a hell of alot more, recently paid more than half for same amount of nights at presthaven and was blown away by the caravan and facilities there. But your Caravan we were put in a gold 1 may I add, was disgusting, the pans were dirty, the grill rack still had the previous tenants grease in it, dust every where, tatty old smelly carpet with the odd seagull feather before we had even stepped foot in there, the most uncomfortable beds known to man, disgusting bedding, tiny TV, limescale in the kettle and the toaster was full of previous persons toast crumbs.people or yourselves may read this and think oh its a caravan holiday what do you expect but no for £600+ I expected a HELL of alot more and a HELL of a lot better, we wer also placed by the bins which In my eyes a gold caravan wouldn't be by a bin, which in turn meant our car was covered in seagull dirt because they positioned them selves on ours and 3 other caravan roofs as they were feeding from the bins, the queue in for the entertainment was ridiculous, and was out there for hours which meant the kids didn't get to see any entertainment, your entertainment anyway was a load of dog poop as non of it appealed to our age ranged children 9-11, we spent all our time and ate off site so ended up spending so much more than we thought we would have.the toilet in the caravan by god, was smaller than an aeroplane toilet my son stood up to wipe and butted the door, it's absoloutly disgusting for the price your charging ppl.and your so called chalets/lodges we were also put beside are one major eye sore, like little crack dens there also disgusting.we will never be holidaying here again, presthaven craps all over your site and you want to reconsider your prices, entertainment, your choice of what you rank your caravans and overall your whole site.thanks for wasting our money

We booked a hoilday on the robinhood site north Wales on the 16th July 2021only for 3 nights.
We had problems from the start. They tried to put a family of 6 in a 1 bed chalet. When I booked 2 8 berths for my family and my friends family.
Then we where given bigger chalets that where dirty, disgusting, smelly, full of pet hairs, dirty toilets, dirty pot pans and knifes and forks, stains on mattresses rips in mattresses, stains on sheets, cigarette burns in sheets, pet hair over sofas, holes in sofas. Mould on mattresses, mould up the walls and paint falling off the walls from the wet damp walls. Please save your money and book somewhere else

In January 2020, I booked a break at Robin Hood camp for the Easter holidays. Due to the lockdown, this was re-arranged for early July 2020. However, campsites in Wales are still in lockdown and although they have confirmed that we will not be able to go on the dates booked, they have offered neither a refund nor alternative dates. They have ignored my emails and telephone messages and on the few times I have spoken to someone, they have promised to get someone to call me back but not done so.
