Found exactly what I was looking for!

Found exactly the bag I was looking for! Accurate description of bag condition, great photos to show it, and it shipped quickly and looked better than exacted. Jiaxin was very responsive and accommodating, I even was able to add a second bag to my order! Very happy with my experience. Her selection is amazing too, so I will definitely shop with Luxbags again

Wonderful experience!

I had an excellent experience with Luxbags and would definitely recommend them. I found a bag I loved but was going out of town and asked if they would hold it for me. They shipped it on the appointed day (~2 weeks later) with no issue or additional fee. I am eternally grateful. Item was as described and actually in better condition than I expected. Thank you! I will be probably be back if my bank account starts to match my taste better! :)

I am so happy with my purchase! I asked a lot of questions and they were answered promptly. Very fair, fast shipping and my item was packed with care and professionalism. My purchase was just as described and more! It exceeded my expectations for a pre-loved handbag!

Buyer Beware!

I purchased a Bottega Veneta Large Hop in Fondant from Luxbags after the listing described it as “Never worn,” with no defects disclosed. Shipping was prompt, and I received the bag quickly after ordering. Unfortunately, upon inspection, I noticed several obvious issues within minutes, including small cuts in the leather on the handle and corner, a white stain, and fraying threads. Given the condition, these defects should have been identified and disclosed prior to sale.

When I contacted Jiaxin with photos and details, I was told the issues were likely normal Bottega Veneta quality variations and that they had not noticed them. I found this difficult to believe, as the flaws were immediately visible. The initial resolution offered was only $50 compensation on a $4,200 bag, which was unreasonable considering the undisclosed damage. I requested a full refund, as I would not have purchased the bag had the condition been accurately represented.

Although there was eventually agreement to accept a return, communication became inconsistent. After I promptly shipped the bag back using the provided label and confirmed delivery, my follow-up emails requesting confirmation and a refund went unanswered. Despite prior written agreement to refund the purchase, no refund was issued from her end and to this day, I still haven't received any additional communication from her end, which is an extremely poor display of customer service. Thankfully, I paid by credit card and was able to recover my money through a chargeback process.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, notwithstanding the fact that this was supposed to be my first luxury bag purchase! Accurate condition reporting and reliable customer service are essential when selling luxury handbags, especially at this price point and on the secondhand market. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage buyers to exercise caution and thoroughly protect themselves when purchasing from Luxbags or similar secondhand sellers.

Regarding the condition of the bag, we try to describe it as accurately as possible, but people’s expectations can sometimes differ regarding secondhand bags.

A return is automatically accepted when customers notice us within 3 days of receiving the item and send back within 14 days; however charges apply as stated in our return policy.

I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in communicating and processing the refund. I had just given birth in the same month and was in recovery and overwhelmed by new parent duties. This is not a reflection of our usual customer service standard. We will ensure this does not happen again.

Your feedback is invaluable and is helping us refine our processes.

Start to finish positive experience

I was searching for a rare Chanel tote in a particular color and found a few online. It came across the one I eventually purchased from Luxbags. It was in great condition as described. I had several questions since I was not familiar with the company and did some research, looked at reviews, and contacted them directly with several questions. They were very responsive and customer supportive. I actually went to a third-party authenticator before I purchased, and it was approved as authentic. The person purchasing process was easy and with their return policy, being fairly generous, I felt comfortable in my purchase. The bag is excellent and as advertised on their website. I would highly recommend this company and would purchase from them again.

Amazing customer service and I love my bag!

Despite being vastly different time zones, response time was incredibly fast. Shipping was really quick as well once shipped and I had no issues with customs. Bag is exactly as described with all original documents and a certificate of authenticity. I’ve been searching for this bag for a while now and I’m so happy I was able to find it! Overall, would definitely recommend Luxbags!

Great experience with Luxbags

Great experience with Luxbags! Jiaxin was quick to respond every step of the way. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. I had a slight issue with shipping but this was nothing Jiaxin had control over being it was in a different location and this was more of a UPS/shipper issue of not having actually picked up the package. It was settled quickly and I received my bag the following week. Given the price and quality/history of the bag, I would hope that it could have been packed a little more neatly and carefully in a larger box as opposed to being smooshed in there, but the bag is collapsable and only had a dust bag so didn’t need a huge box, but something a little roomier would have been appropriate. As I mentioned it was in a different location and this was nothing in Jiaxins control. Have referred several people to the site already and will purchase again
