Great place for a first time shopper
The staff were very warm and welcoming towards all customers. Phoebe was extremely kind, funny and helpful member of staff that shared all of the correct knowledge to help me find the gear that suited me the best. Overall my experience was amazing and I would highly recommend this company to many others.

The level of customer service at this local store is brilliant. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my motorcycle clothing and accessories. A big "well done" to everyone including the management for employing such thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional individuals.

I just wanted to say thank you to the Birmingham store, I had a problem with some heated grips I purchased from them last year, It was a manufacturers fault and nothing the store had done wrong, however the staff at Birmingham were massively helpful and got the issue resolved immediately, whilst I was there it gave me chance to have a browse around and see the huge choice of merchandise they keep, great prices and very obliging staff.

Poor Customer Service
I wanted to give my business to a bricks and mortar shop as they’re getting fewer as online dominates. The ability to try on boots etc., is important and I prefer it to the back and forth of online ordering (and just like to buy in person when I can, plus it supports local employers even if it’s a little more expensive). So, I tried on a pair of Daytona Roadstar Pros but they were slightly large and they did not have the smaller size in stock. No problem they said, we’ll get them in from another of our stores. Well that was 6 weeks ago. Three chases later, one of which was in person, and not a single call back to me, basically they’ve never turned up and no one seems to care. The staff in the branch are friendly but don’t follow up. Ah well, back to shopping online I guess. What a shame…

Incredibly bad store when you want to buy, willingness if you want to complain, well, they don't throw you out, they blame the manufacturer, they don't want to take responsibility for what they sell, terribly bad attitude. You give something for a complaint, they return it to you in the same condition as you gave it to them and they claim that it works, and it doesn't work, but then they read it, it's a lie. Okay, I want to get rid of the responsibility, if there is a guarantee, it applies and they should take care to never buy from them again, anyway, everything is more expensive than in other stores

I am basing this rating on the experience I had with Tony in the St Albans store. He took his time, was extremely helpful and friendly and ensured I had everything I needed. He gave good advice and helped me to decide on what was best for safety and comfort. My experience of Tony was very different to another staff member who told me to look for things myself, what was there was all they had and continued to do whatever he was doing as I was a clear imposition to his day. So my advice is to find Tony.

Went to J&S in Cardiff today with a friend and we are both first time riders getting our gear ready for our CBT, we walked in thinking we new what we were getting but after speaking to Nic he explained each item of clothing and the needs and requirements and then spent the best part of 4hrs back and forth helping us each step of the way from helmets to jackets and so on. His knowledge was impeccable, his patience was amazing, and he just made the experience so much easier and smoother and we both left with all the right gear we needed. He is just a class guy, had a laugh at the same time and even made sure he knew our names to make the experience more personable. Couldn’t recommend J&S anymore if I tried and hats off on hiring Nic what a guy. Will deffo be back

Outstanding service by Gaz and Max at Nottingham.
I've used the Nottingham shop for years and always thought highly of them, but today they went above and beyond.
As I was eyeing up some hand warmers I was approached and asked if the CB outside was mine, to which I said yes and was proceeded to be told they'd noticed a quite serious safety concern whilst they were looking at it.
Amazing eye for starts, they then (Gaz and Max) couldn't be more helpful by greatly assisting to rectify the issue.
I went on to buy some bargain gloves after offering them a coffee or ice cream seeing as the current bun was out.
Top shop, Max and Gaz for joint PM.

Frist time coming down to the store a few weeks ago and have to say what an amazing shop but there was a lot of downsides to my first experience. Upon entering a younger lady approached me and I told her I'd just bought a bike and need some security/locks etc. she then tried to get me to buy the entire store it felt like and had an off attitude. And not just that everything was the most expensive of what she had chosen even when I said I'm on a budget so I'm assuming she was on commission. So just went with what my own experience told me.
Walked over to the helmet section where there was an older gentleman and I couldn't even get a response from him let alone to be asked if he could help me. very disappointed in some of the staff here.
Since my first trip I have popped down a few more times as its genuinely a nice store and I will say the two younger gentleman are absolutely brilliant here polite very helpful and happy to answer any questions you have about anything bike related. There spot on and those two have kept me a customer at j&s so props to you both.
I'll turn away if there's anyone else working when I pop down now as they make the shop a much more pleasant atmosphere very lovely bunch.

Is it Policy now for J&S to sell helmets without a box, warranty tags etc ? If this is the case then all helmets sold should be advertised as shop soiled as they have been on display, tried on for fitment etc. I simply asked for the box and details and was told we don't keep the boxes and warranty is your receipt ?

Contacted J&S team asking about a price match on a jacket, they couldn't match the online price but did offer a substantial discount.
I decided the ability to try on before purchasing was worth the slightly higher price.
I can't fault the experience or the final price paid which was still much less expensive than all but one online seller
Excellent Customer Service.
While over from Northern Ireland at ye start of March 26 I purchased a set of RST heated gloves. First time wearing them on 18th March and there was an issue with one of the batteries. I emailed the store & within one day I received a reply that they were sending me out a new battery & provided me with a tracking number. I have to say I’m impressed with their Customer Service!
