I ordered some patio chrysanths. from Woolmans online service on August 2nd.
The plants arrived after about a week very well packaged so there was no damage. The plants looked very healthy and were in very good condition.

The chrysanths I received were lovely stocky,healthy looking plants of a good size.Every year I forget to order any "pot"chrysanths and have a real problem finding any left in time for Autumn.I had the same problem this year and searched in vain,all sites saying "sold out"Then I remembered Woolmans and sure enough,they were able to supply exactly what I wanted,good price and arrived very quickly.So delighted Woolmans.Thankyou.

This year nearly all the plants delivered had been given a very rough ride to the extent that I am seriously considering sustaining the additional cost of buying direct from a nursery. You were not alone Parkers suffered similarly but I had moved most of my orders from Parkers to you. They pack better than you.

Plants arrived healthy and have been potted although the plants were not labelled so I shall have to wait before I know which ones are which.

I had 5 chrysanth plugs delivered by post one of which was damaged on arrival I contacted Woolmans who arranged for a further five to be delivered which all arrived in good condition. I would have been satisfied if only one replacement was sent so I think Woolmans went above and beyond their duty

Order was posted as promised. Out of the two sets of plants shipped individually one set arrived in a very stressed state.
The delivery company should be able to do better than that

First class plug plants, grew very quickly in the garden and I highly recommend for quality, packaging and delivery.

I run a gardening club. The sweet peas were delivered very late, when I phoned to see where they were the help desk was no help at all, she didn’t know anything, it was very frustrating. Several people couldn’t make the ever changing date at the gardening club so I was left with having to pay for half the sweet peas myself. Woolmans should have let me know the approximate date. Now the sweet peas are in the garden and nowhere near flowering when others I’ve grown from seed are 7ft high and flowering.

I have bought plants from Woolmans for several years. The plants have previously always been very good quality, healthy and well packaged. This year (2025) was very disappointing. The plants arrived upside down, out of their trays. They had few roots, those they had were dry. The begonias were also infested with a type of flea beetle, which had damaged the leaves. Subsequently the plants have not become established and have failed to thrive. I had noted Woolmans had been bought by another well know mail order plant supplier, who I had used previously but was not happy with. Whilst they may have continued to keep the Woolmans name, they have not maintained the same standards or quality. Needless to say, I will not be buying plants from this supplier in the future.

Plants recieved were not as good as previous ones have been.
