Lots of information on website. Decided on the big one, only two of us but lots of veg and fruit peelings, also a big garden for grass cuttings and twigs. Ordering and delivery were faultless.

Make sure you buy correct size
We bought the large Hotbin and were really looking forward to our new venture , however when it was delivered we very quickly realized it was too big. Our mistake.
My husband contacted the company to request an uplift and to order the smaller bin . We asked if we could receive a discount but we were advised , strongly , there would be no discount. We were out of pocket by £50,. Ok , as I said it was our mistake but a bit of come and go on the loss would have been negotiated. Nope ,nothing , zilch , hee ho , zero. We still ordered the smaller bin . If someone bought the larger one by mistake in a store and returned it they would have received the 50 back. Very disappointed in this customer service.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry that the original HOTBIN was too large for your needs and understand how disappointing the additional return and collection cost must have felt.
Because HOTBINs are large items, arranging their collection and return incurs costs that we’re unfortunately unable to absorb. However, we’re sorry if this was communicated too firmly or without enough explanation. We’ll share your feedback with our customer service team.
We appreciate you choosing to order the smaller HOTBIN and hope it proves to be the right fit for you. We reached out via email on 01/09 for some further feedback if that's ok.

Purchased the charcoal filters for my two Hotbins. Quick delivery. Easy to fit. Just beware that it is charcoal and very messy. Don’t open the package on the dining room table, like I did!

This made us smile, glad you like your new hot composting kit and that the website, delivery and build all went smoothly… Mostly!
Now for the hardest part: waiting patiently for the compost, at least you don't have to wait 12 months plus, like with cold composting. Hope it rewards you nicely.

So far so good
I am happy with the delivery and the instructions on the website, which helped us to get the bin to 40c within a week for use in our community garden.
I am not sure if the cost £470 is good value for what you receive, but I also don't know the costs of the production.
They make it quite clear on their website there is effort involved in keeping it hot, so you have to be sure you have the time.

Our 2 hotbins
The delivery man came earlier than anticipated and was helpful unloading the boxes.
Putting the hotbins together was quite straight forward tho’ a bit of brute force helped and it was good having 2 of us.

We phoned the company before purchasing to discuss the delivery- was told 2-5 working days. Spoke to a lovely helpful lady. We ordered on a Saturday and it was delivered on the Wednesday. Came in 6 boxes. My husband assembled the bin with his friend and was really easy. Very impressed with everything- really really happy 😃

Great service and support
Great service and support-having used a hot bin at work I was so impressed I bought one for home and even encouraged my son to purchase one. The team at EFP have been great with the hassle free sales process and even offer after sales support to ensure you get the best out of the composting experience. As we approach the requirement to separate all food waste at home I can honestly say I welcome it as it has encouraged me to compost my waste. I'm looking forward to reaping the rewards of the minimal effort needed to produce my own compost.
