Purchased a HF2 pet hoover, which is great but the battery doesn't charge so either battery or charger faulty. Spent 3hrs on the customer service whatsapp to no avail (parts on back order so up to 4w wait with no working vacuum, said in that case send a new one and they said I'd need to email a different team so back to square one). 2 business days for that email to reply initially and ongoing communications are unbelievably poor - they also decided to not respond for another 2 working days once communication line established. Asked for a phone call to speed things up three times (as I've not been able clean the house!!) - ignored. Requested an escalation to a manager 3 times, ignored. 1 week down and countless time spent on my part trying to rectify and I'm still no further on. I have no power to do more, as they ONLY supply an email.
My request is now to refund, and I'll purchase an alternative with a more reputable company which is a shame as I really loved the vacuum but life is honestly too short to deal with terrible companies who don't care at all about their customers.

Customer service has been among the worst I have encountered—lack of replies, rude, no urgency to remedy the situation, misleading efforts to upsell unneeded additional warranty, lies about logging complaints and follow up. Still unresolved. Run from this company and do not look back.

Can I give minus 5 stars 😳 simply the worst thing I have ever bought. Robot Vacuum HG5 worked for 2 days didn’t even vacuum the entire house once. Support non existent, multiple times contacted them no reply, after three weeks of constant messages I have been told that as it’s a small item I have to take to repair shop which 1.45 minutes away, when I questioned this, I simply have t had any response, total waste of €250. Avoid product from this manufacturer as it will just make you crazy if anything ever goes wrong.

Barely one year after purchase, the washing machine stopped working due to a faulty door lock, rendering the appliance completely unusable. A technician was sent to repair the lock, but we were informed that the entire door needs to be replaced for the machine to function properly.
What makes this situation even worse is that Candy Hoover refused to cover the repair under warranty, despite the fact that:
The washing machine was less than two years old, which is still within the warranty period as per European consumer protection laws.
This was a critical defect that made the product completely non-functional.
The repair cost was quoted at €300, which is nearly the original purchase price of the washing machine. This highlights not only the poor quality of their products, but also a service strategy that unfairly shifts excessive costs onto the customer.

Restant sans nouvelles de leurs part, j envoyais deux autres mails fin octobre, toujours sans nouvelles j appelais l accueil début novembre me confirmant que mes mails avaient bien été reçu et que le dossier devait être en cour, devant attendre encore un peu …
j envoyais un dernier mail le 08 novembre pour leur demander de finir de statuer ce dossier, que l on m envoi un bordereau de retour ou un discount comme annoncé au téléphone !
À ce jour, sans nouvelles, avec un carton coincé dans mon tout petit appartement, sans appareil de ménage depuis deux mois, sans réponses ...il devient facile de comprendre qu ils se foutent complètement si y a rayure ou pas …que leur responsabilité s arrête à attendre que le temps passe,
que le client mécontent se lasse, qu ils n ont pas l intention de le reprendre et que je doive accepter une belle rayure à 300 euros ! Merci Hoover pour mes souvenirs de vos appareils des années 60/70, vous êtes juste devenus limite escroc à la vente sur internet ! C est la première fois que je laisse un avis après achat et vais engager maintenant une poursuite avec les outils des défenses des droits des consommateurs. Toujours sans réponse au 19/12/24

VisionR Ovens That Cook Unevenly & Never Get Hot
I have 2 VisionR ovens that never reach high temperatures and cook unevenly, even on fan oven mode. The grill never gets up high enough to brown…it just melts stuff. I had an engineer out under warranty and he replaced both motherboards in the ovens, but they still don’t work. Hoover now suggest that I pay for an engineer to visit again but I genuinely think these ovens are just terrible and can’t be fixed. The last engineer said they were working perfectly now. It’s just that you can’t even cook a frozen pizza evenly and forget about browning the top of a pie or cooking a roast properly. I wish Hoover dropped the internal cameras and internet screens and just created an oven that cooks stuff….I’m at a point where I will have to replace 2.5 year old / 3.5k of ovens because I can’t rely on them to cook for a family of four.

If there was a zero I would have given it. We bought a 10kg condenser dryer on 28/11/23 and on 20/11/24 the dryer starting tripping the electrics for the house. We narrowed it down by trying different sockets and it tripped every time and no other appliances did. By the time we did this it was a couple of days out of its 1 year warranty. Despite this Hoover refused to cover anything saying it’s out of warranty. I would not expect an appliance to last 1 year and no more. Customer service was unhelpful to say the least and a complete waste of time. It’s a common problem according to online research so should be fixed to stop others having the same experience. It was£300 so not good value and completely different to what they advertised for their products.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Hoover's customer service. After chatting with their WhatsApp team, I called their helpline today on 03444995599 around 12:55 pm. The representative I spoke with was incredibly unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to my concerns.
When I mentioned that Domestic & General offers a more affordable price, he brushed it off and showed no interest in discussing options or helping further. I initially called to book an engineer but ultimately decided to go with another company due to the appalling customer service.
Such behaviour is unacceptable, and I would not recommend Hoover.co.uk to anyone based on this experience. Customer service should be helpful and accommodating—not dismissive and rude.

Compre a principios de verano una lavadora Hooever de carga frontal de 8 kilos, y tres meses despues dejo de funcionar. LLevo mas de un mes sin ella, vino el tecnico, le cambio la placa que hace que funciones la bomba de agua y delante de el no funciono, ahora tambien es la bomba de agua que esta rota, total casi mes y medio de espera entre servicio tecnico, y arreglos y la lavadora sin funcionar y sin posibilidad de cambio, por lo que me cuentan, desde la tienda donde la compre, al comercial de la marca y al tecnico que ya ha venido dos veces y sin solucionar nada. La lavadora en garantia rota hace mas de un mes y yo esperando.

They've turned off their customer service phone lines. They say to call between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday press two for United States press one for English then press three to troubleshoot or talk to someone. When you do all this you get an automated message that says that you have missed them and to try calling back another time. What they're doing is trying to force you to use their website which has an automated chatbot that will not let you talk to an actual human or resolve any actual problems. It will give you some troubleshooting links that you can click on and if you have done these and you're still having an issue it disconnects and says chat has ended. My Hoover product is a carpet cleaner. This is the fifth one I've owned in about that many years. The one I have right now I got three months ago as a replacement for the one that I bought in April that broke after 4 months of regular use. Now I have to get them to replace this unit and it seems that in the last few months they have completely changed their customer service to this automated system that actually provides no service. It's been a frustrating process. Fortunately I have a third party warranty so if this continues I will have them deal with Hoover directly seeing as I as a regular consumer have no recourse.

Totalmente decepcionada Compré una pieza de recambio para mi aspiradora, y la verdad que en un principio El servicio atención al cliente fue bueno porque me contestaron rápido. El caso es que realice el pedido y esperando más de dos meses, al mes o menos, estuve preguntando y poniéndome en contacto de qué pasaba con el artículo y no me contestaba, al cabo del mes y medio, cuando dije que quería que me devolvieran el dinero que el artículo ya no me hacía falta y obviamente no me había llegado, me mandaron un justificante del transportista justo de ese mismo día como que lo cancelada. El caso es que obviamente solicité el reembolso íntegro, y no me han contestado aún sigo esperando
