Shortly after purchasing the washing machine, the machine was added to my profile. This was supposed to give an extra 5 years of warranty.
No receipt came from them, but the washing machine was now under my profile.
Now 2 and a half years later, there are problems with the washing machine tumbling.
They can no longer find me in the system, so repairs will have to be at their own expense.
Very poor service, so I recommend staying away from this brand

Terrible experience with this company Hoover Candy . Washing machine's been faulty from the beginning Three scheduled repairs and still not fixed as they dont attend the appointments and tell you an hour before there are meant to be coming they're not turning up Not trustworthy AVOID AT ALL COSTS (hoover was good company but I noticed 2019 the Chinese took over it so that will be the problem)

Tras comprarles una nevera, no funcionar y avisarles, enviaron al técnico 10 dias después. Un semana despues de que viniese el técnico no tengo noticias de nada. Solo se que la nevera sigue sin funcionar y no se han puesto en contacto. Tanto el fabricante como el distribuidor (Pascual Marti Online) han tenido una falta de profesionalidad enorme. NO RECOMIENDO ESTA MARCA EN ABSOLUTO

I bought a new Hoover stick vacuum cleaner. I was pleased with it, but after about 8 cleanings, the battery ceased to work. I expected to return the faulty battery, and be sent a new one, and that it would be a pretty straightforward process, but after various difficulties with the Customer Support people, I was told I had to return the whole Hoover for a refund. This was difficult for me, it took a while for me to organise, and a couple of weeks for the refund to come through. But why on earth not replace the battery ? That is much more simple and environmentally friendly, and they would have kept a Customer. As it is, after this terrible returns policy I will never buy from Hoover again, although I have been loyal to the brand all my life.

We will never buy a Hoover product again. The motorized head on our HF4 vacuum cleaner snapped in less than a year, and Hoover refused to replace it, claiming it’s a “consumable part.” This is unacceptable given the poor build quality — the wiring was already hanging, and the break was clearly due to weak materials and design flaws. Extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service.

I contacted Hoover to report a fault with my condenser dryer, which supposedly comes with a 10-year parts guarantee. What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
First, I received a call back from an extremely rude representative. Despite clearly stating that the machine was registered in March 2016 and should be on their system (I even have email confirmation), he claimed he couldn’t find the registration. When I disputed this, he threatened to end the call, saying he had “other customers in the queue.” His attitude was arrogant and dismissive, making it clear that helping me was not a priority.
To get any resolution, I was forced to go through his entire registration questionnaire again—essentially re-registering a product that was already registered. After wasting my time, the “solution” offered was either pay £160 upfront for a repair or sign up for a £22/month service plan just to get a call-out covered.
This is outrageous. The so-called 10-year parts warranty is nothing but a dishonest marketing gimmick. Without even diagnosing the issue or checking the fault, Hoover slaps customers with a £160 charge. That is not a warranty—it’s a scam.
Hoover’s practices are misleading, unethical, and designed to exploit customers. Think twice before buying any Hoover product. Their promises mean absolutely nothing in reality.

I wrote a review a few days ago about a Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner about a broken hose. This was my reply: Response from The Hoover Team:
"Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding ONEPWR Evolve Elite Pet. This model has a 3-year warranty. We want to ensure that you are getting the best product performance and would like to gather more information and get your warranty information. Please visit our Hoover Support library ---links not allowed in reviews--------------------------to access our video library and choose other support options."
This response did me no good as far as replacing the hose or the whole machine. When you go to the product support under available parts it lists a dirt cup and a brush. The response was from a no reply email. If I don't get a satisfactory response I will never buy another Hoover Product. All responses I have seen appear to be canned responses with no sincerity.

Machine a lavée qui a 2 ans. En 2 ans déjà 2 interventions de leur part!!!car article sous garantie !(intervention faite en quelques minutes).
Re belotte il y a une semaine !manque de chance garantie dépassée de 2 jours! Ils font un devis plus cher que la machine à lavée alors que c est un défaut dans la machine(vu que déjà 2 fois au paravant)..
C est pas du tout commercial et je ne prendrais plus jamais cette marque!

J’ai acheté une machine à laver de la marque Hoover. Apres SEULEMENT 2 ans et 6 mois elle tombe en panne… elle n’est plus sous garantie. La panne en question : l’une des attaches du bloc en béton qui maintient la machine à lâcher, de se fait elle a failli littéralement exploser dans ma salle de bain ! Situation très dangereuse… J’essaie de faire entendre que c’est un bon gros défaut, mais personne ne veut rien entendre. C’est quand même incroyable de se faire remballer comme de la m****, raccrocher au nez, ignorer nos mails… On ne demande pas le remplacement complet de la machine mais un minium de considération serait la bienvenue, que quelqu’un vienne constater les dégâts et confirmer que ce n’est pas normal. Cette société est catastrophique, la durée de vie des electro 0 et le service client 0. Honteux !

Engineer arrived to replace drum in washing machine. Left kitchen in a mess with no attempt to tidy up. Debris & water on kitchen floor, damaged kitchen plinth kickboard snapping bracket attached to two pieces, He didn’t align kickboards properly leaving huge gaps and dirty handprints everywhere.
Washing machine detergent drawer mis aligned and washing machine knocking on cabinet door as not replaced correctly.
Hoover Customer Service/Claims have so far advised claiming on my Home Insurance for the damage they have caused or getting 2 quotes from VAT registered builders for the repairs.
They don’t seem bothered by the damage they have caused to a 2 yr old kitchen.
And you get a big cardboard box with the old drum in to take to the tip as it’s your property and they have no room on the van. Not sure what elderly people would do when they leave that on your drive.
Overall very poor service from Hoover.

Awful experience. Customer service is non-existent, they advertise free next day delivery and didn't send the product for over a week. I raised a payment dispute with my bank as I'd had no response from this company. The bank credited my account until I finally got a full refund. Was an absolute nightmare!

Des semaines d'attente pour un lave linge qui n'est toujours pas expédié mais dont le montant est débité (360 Euros). Aucune réponse aux relances, aucune personne capable de répondre. Pas de numéro de téléphone de service client. Pas de numéro de suivi. Encore un site marchant d'arnaque.

I would not give a star at all if couldn't share that you CAN'T get in touch with customer services. I sort of feel scammed. Trying to return carpet cleaner

Je mets 1 etoile mais en réalité ces catastrophique. Entre le technicien tres alaise qui critique et tres hautain..le lendemain seche linge toujours en panne. Et l'interlocutrice qui me dit alors que cest la 3eme pannes qu'ils ne peuvent pas me rembourser ou echanger l'appareil que tant qu'ils peuvent reparer il le feront le seche linge a quelques mois donc n'achetez pas pas Candy et fuyez hoover

The new Hoover PortaPower arrived today! I was excited! I was thrilled! Over many years, this is the 3rd one I've bought because it was, as claimed, "Commercial" power and SO convenient!

I unpacked it, compared the parts to the one I'd bought about 8 years ago (that one only lasted 8 years, sadly).

The attachments were the same. The canister was the same. And that's where it ended.

1. The power cord is immediately obviously cheaper quality. Lighter-weight.
2. The bag that comes with the unit is thinner, cheaper quality. Will likely let a LOT pass through and likely into the motor.
3. Ah... the motor. I plugged it in and flipped the switch... IMMEDIATELY I could HEAR the motor is weaker and...
4. As somebody had posted in a "review" else-where, I'll repeat: "It doesn't suck." No, really, it doesn't. NOTHING even comparable to the old units. What used to take me about 10 minutes just took me almost 30! Passing over and over and over again and again.

Keep in mind, Hoover uses the "USA" label all over their site, in their product descriptions, on their packaging and shipping boxes BUT... the TRUTH comes on the little sticker ON the unit:

* ASSEMBLED * IN USA. NO "MADE" IN USA.
Sub-par parts, MADE in China, shipped to the USA where somebody with a screwdriver puts it together.

Compared to other vacuum cleaners, the price is attractive. But it's a case of "you get what you pay for" and you're NOT getting your old Hoover any more.

I'm keeping it because I need it (or I wouldn't have bought it). But this is the LAST Hoover product I'll ever buy again. My "Trust" in Hoover is completely gone.

(Following is my first comment/review for reference. I should have known better. I've learned a sad lesson.)

OH! But it's so sad a I SO wish I'd looked for this information BEFORE pissing money away on more sub-standard destruction of a once-American brand:
"Hoover brand vacuum cleaners are primarily manufactured in the United States, specifically in Cookeville, Tennessee, although some components may be globally sourced. The company is now a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries, which is based in Hong Kong."
True to form, the "new" Hoover company doesn't care about customers, products, the name, the reputation, the heritage. They're "Chinese" now and their merchandise is "typical" of "Give me your money and leave me alone."
My old PortaPower suddenly caught FIRE after only 6 years of the most careful use, One day it worked, the next day, flames! Trusting the name, I ordered a new one only to find that the quality has plummeted.
Tried their online "chat"... either you choose from programmed questions or it simply shuts you down... exactly like the "people" who answer the phone when you call.
Never again... Time to notify the credit card company. Let's go to the "American" courts if need be.

Primero, lavadora con 12 meses de uso se estropea... Puede ser mala suerte, pero bueno, si el servicio técnico fuese eficiente aún pasa, pero no... de lo peor que me he podido encontrar... llamas, más de una semana para que llegue una correa para una lavadora... que no tienen dicen... es como en un taller de coches no tuvieran aceite... resulta un poco paradójico... en fin, nada recomendable el servicio postventa.

J'ai vécu une expérience désastreuse avec Hoover.
Deux livraisons successives : appareil reçu cassé à chaque fois, livraison facturée malgré tout.
Le service client est tout simplement inexistant : depuis plus de deux mois, j'attends toujours mon remboursement. À chaque mail ou appel, on me répond "oui oui, c'est en cours" , mais rien n'avance.
Résultat : perte de temps, frustration et argent immobilisé.
Je ne recommanderai jamais cette enseigne.
Mon conseil : si vous commandez malgré tout, utilisez PayPal ou un autre moyen de paiement sécurisé afin d'avoir une garantie de remboursement, sinon vous risquez de le regretter.

I had a local engineer come out to look at my washing machine to be told I had I had a big hole in my drum and needed to ring hoover for a replacement. I rang Hoover and explained everything what I needed iE: Drum and tub! my model and serial number.She said I Had to wait 4 days for an engineer to come out and fix it. They said I would have a 2hour time slot.I waited on the day to receive a telephone call asking for my serial number AGAIN!!! Then to be told they will order my part and wait another week.
Fuming!!!

Bought a hoover washer as hoover used to be a good make, not any more, it lasted 14 months. Engineer said drum spindle was broken. It would have cost £80 call out and £160 for repair and labour and vat, parts free.240 in total. I bought a new one of a different make for 350. Hoover you can keep it and good bye forever.
