I set up an Easy Access account online and it was extremely easy to find all the information I needed to make the decision of what account I needed, to creating and funding the account.

Best interest rates currently around for a variable rate Easy Access account. UK Bank with FSCS protection. Very quick and simple process to open account. Website was easy to navigate. Good communication about account.

A brand new and happy customer.
I opened my first account with Hodge Bank today. It was so easy. Everything on the website was so easy to navigate and I also got an email straight away telling me my deposit had reached the account. This saved me having to long on to my new account to check the balance. I only wished I’d opened a fixed rate with you before I opened one with another provider. I will certainly change to you when my existing ISA comes to the end if it’s term.

First savings account…
Just opened my first savings account with hodge and the competitive interest rate was attractive for me. I like the fact that they were recommended on Martin Lewis's money saving expert site. I like the fact that it was very easy to open the account with all checks done digitally and no need to send any paperwork back. The website is well constructed and very simple and uncluttered and very easy to use. It was very easy to make a deposit so I can't really think of anything that would improve the website. I give Hodge bank a big FIVE STARS

Really easy to open my account and transfer funds. I have been lazy, until now, leaving cash in low interest bank account, so glad I was recommended (Martin Lewis) to open this instant access saver account with a good interest rate.

I was disappointed with my bank account…
I was disappointed with my bank account interest rates so looked for better options. I found Hodge through Money Saving Expert and I trust them to provide good safe banking. Opening the account was simple as was adding funds. It would be great if they develop an app at some point. Really happy with this account and great interest rates.

Disappointed
Disappointed. I opened an Easy Access issue 1 savings account, interest rate 4.21% with unlimited deposits and withdrawals. I downloaded and read the T&C's - all good, and very easy to open online with no problems, which was great.
However, the welcome email stated a lower interest rate and only 14 days to fund the account. This is wording I'd expect from a fixed account. I emailed Hodge for clarification and received no response, not even a message stating we'll get back within two working days or similar. I need an easy access account. Because of their confusing wording on the welcome email, and no clarification when asked, I'm closing the account.

Where high street banks fail, Hodge does not!
When high street banks shrink their customer service they dont take away the bureaucracy of dealing with them
With Hodge, opening an account, transferring in and out immediate was all so easy. Best on call rates around at the moment as well. Other banks have promotional type rates which complicates their offerings for similar products.
Will recommend to others and our daughter who needs a similar product offering.
