I was really concerned about my hair thinning and HLC made me feel at ease from my consultation right through to the end of my laser treatment. Really pleased with the results and I have some confidence back.

I attended the York HLC and the results are amazing! The amount of hair I loose is nearly none, and the regrowth is phenomenal.
Throughout my treatment, I was looked after so well, Lee truly goes above and beyond to trailer your treatment to you, and support you. Honestly by the end of it someone how you'd happily call a friend.

I don't know where to start, at the beginning in my initial consultation everything was all nicey nicey. The guy was very friendly. He told me about the possible treatments I could have. He diagnosed me with androgenic alopecia just by looking at my hair. Which I thought was weird because he didn't run any tests to back that diagnosis up. First red flag. He then charged me £2000 for a 6 month treatment plan. Out of desperation I gave it to him, trusting him. He gave me products to use, shampoos, conditioner. Dht tablets, minioxidil...all of which you can buy online. After a few weeks of using the minoxidil twice a day I found my hair was shedding more. I questioned this. He said it was completely normal so I carried on. 4 months in, I have found no difference to my hair whatsoever. I feel so stupid giving that amount of money to begin with, even though I was unsure. They make you feel like you can trust them and so you willingly had over the cash. The communication is absolutely terrible. They take forever to contact you back after leaving messages. After 4 months in of my treatment the guy has completely ignored my messages and I've been left in the dark. He has basically stolen my money. There must be a way I can report this company but there isn't any headoffice I can contact or write to. I want my money back. Please avoid this clinic, they just want your money. All the products they give you, you can buy way cheaper online and they don't necessarily work. You get some tufty bits of hair here and there but no real visible difference. Do your research before parting with large sums of money. The place I went to is in derby. With a guy called Lee. This company is fraudulent.

I started my treatment with HLC on the 1/07/2024. I had attended a consultation for LLLT therapy as a desperate final option in Southampton and then moved to Reading halfway through. Bearing this in mind, I was convinced by the team that I would be a perfect candidate for the treatment as my hair loss was only just starting to progress. I was not given an official contract, only a verbal agreement that the treatment was suitable for me. The people at the clinic are friendly enough.

I was told by the clinic in my consultation that for LLLT, I would need to attend once a week for the first month, however I was then told that this would not be possible as the team were not at the selected clinic to fulfil this, and it was then backtracked that this was only necessary for alopecia patients. I then rang a different clinic just to double check as I was sure I was right, in which they spoke to me over the phone saying that I was correct. I then asked to follow this course of treatment as stated in my original consultation. I was then offered ‘double sessions’ instead of 4x weekly sessions for the first month which just made me believe that none of it was necessary anyway and was just for show, otherwise this would have been a priority. Not a great start.

I then attended around 6 months of treatment where I received 15 minutes of laser treatment in which I would travel around an hour to attend by car. In addition to this, I was asked to use a topical solution of minoxidil 2x a day, a medicated shampoo every other day and a vitamin capsule every day. The extortionate amount I paid out of desperation, and because I was given their word that the treatment would work didn’t bother me… until I followed through with the treatment and the correct use of products for six months and realised that my hair was still thinning, and my bald spots getting larger.

I then mentioned my concern to the team in one of my 15-minute sessions where they asked whether I had had a ‘check in’ where they check whether the treatment is working. I then said that no one has ever checked on my hair for the entire time I was receiving treatment, which somehow came to their surprise even though I had the same clinicians for every appointment at both clinics. They then tried to make me believe that the treatment was working even though I expressed that my hair was getting worse. I was then rushed out so they could see their next client.

Following this, after my 6 months of LLLT, I was then offered a PRP session, another treatment option that they offer. I still attended this session despite my now lack of trust with the clinic. During my session, my blood was taken, and the plasma was injected into my scalp. After multiple injections I started to feel lightheaded, to which the clinician started to panic and said she had never delt with this before. This made me feel incredibly anxious and uneasy, especially when I had placed my trust in the clinic to perform this procedure. After being left alone for a few minutes, I was then what felt like rushed out again so they could see their next client. Before leaving I asked what I should do now that I had come to the end of my sessions, to which I was given a bag with more products that didn’t work and told to keep trying.

In conclusion I am most upset about how much stress HLC has put me through, as since this, I have emailed numerous times pleading for any sort of clarification as to whether my treatment has ended and where to go from here, to which I have had no response and have been left in the dark.

Looking back, I wish I never put myself through financial strain out of desperacy and trust for this clinic. You are essentially paying for an extortionately overpriced subscription of minoxidil and vitamins, (£2000!!!!) which you can pick up from a shop. I do not know whether this clinic is good with other treatments so I will not hold this against them. I am not saying that LLLT or their treatment does not work, but it definitely did not work for me which is why I wish they warned me about this rather than telling me it would definitely work. Due to their lack of accountability, fake promises and unprofessionalism, I really would not recommend this place to anyone and to explore any other options first, especially if you are looking for a trustworthy clinic that won’t drop you and ignore you when you call them out for their failed treatment.

I left a similar review on google reviews but I feel like they will find a way to have it removed as the current reviews are suspicioulsy all positive.

I highly recommend the services provided by HLC in Sheffield. From the initial consultation, where we discussed my options for severe alopecia and set realistic expectations for the outcome, I felt well-informed. We decided on a treatment plan that included laser therapy, herbal supplements, shampoo, and a hair solution. Now, as I near the end of the planned 6-month treatment, I’m amazed at the results—most of the bald patches are now covered with new hair growth. I would advise anyone undergoing this treatment to be patient; progress may be slow at first, and things might seem worse before they improve. But stick with it, as the results are worth the wait. Keith has been fantastic, always making our bi-weekly sessions enjoyable and keeping me positive throughout the process. I’m hopeful that hair loss is now a thing of the past! Keith, very professional approach, with a great friendly, and welcoming personality. He keeps you well informed and advises iff or when nescessary on how to look after your hair in-between appoints.

Excellent service from day one at Hairloss Clinic Exeter.I was greeted by Molly who choose a treatment plan for me The Consultation process was very thorough. Molly knew I had concerns about my hairloss as I felt embarrassed about it . Any concerns or questions I had were answered straight away. My treatment has now finished and my results are great .I'm very satisfied indeed.Molly has offered helpful advice on maintaining my new hair growth. I can certainly recommend Molly she is a very Professional ,confident and kind person.

On trying to call the local branch to me which was called Coventry but actually in Leamington Spa, I was unable to go through to the salon despite calling a local number. I spoke with 'Lee' who answers all calls to all clinics in the country. He said he passed my details on twice to the salon, along with me filling in a form but they were too busy to come back to me. Unable to send me prices as he originally promised to do, he told me they were too busy to take on new business/clients and he advised me to go elsewhere. I asked who the owner of the business was and he said that this information was 'confidential' and so I could only speak to him! Not a very good way to operate a trustworthy business considering the subject matter and in my opinion. Hair loss treatments require a great deal of trust and these correspondences have given me the opposite impression.

When I first went to HLC Carlisle I was feeling worried but no need as Rick was exceptional.
He took the time to explain everything.
Finished my treatment on the 09/10/24 & very pleased with the result & the care I received.
Highly recommend HLC Carlisle.

I approached the hair loss clinic with a feeling of dread, who are, how does this work, but facing a possibility of wearing hats for the rest of my life, i thought lets do it.
What can I say, Ash is the consummate professional with a great air of calm. Talked us through what it was about and settled my nerves.
This was back in March, after careful guidance from Ash, things started to happen.
Yesterday was my final session and im now faced with 1st wirld problems, hair cuts, styling wind blowing my hair, yes blowing my hair.
Can't recommend Ash enough.
Brilliant from start to finish, just a shame he supports man united.

Had 3 session with Chelsea in Bromley, lovely lady very friendly and as gentle as can be. Got a check up in 3 months but Chelsea said she’d noticed growth on the 3rd session

It has been already 4 years since I started a treatment with HLC, in which I spent over £6,000. At the begining they were friendly and comminicating well. However, I had never felt like the hair treatment was working. I kept using the products and attending the laser treatment for the 4 years, and it didn't really work.

After 6 months, they started being very ignorant, didn't respond to messages, missed appointments, changed office locatino multiple time without informing me, and they didn't show any interst in helping me during the treatment, for example they would take random hair pictures but they would never refer to it or compare with.

I informed them that I want to stop the treatment, and they offered hair transplant.

Booked appointment on a Saturday to assess 'hair options' - nobody from HLC even turned up - I couldn't even get access to the building as nobody answered the door - total waste of personal time and reflects an organisation culture of disrespect towards clientele.

I was abit worried about getting my hair done but went to the Bolton clinic and I had an amazing experience all my worries put to ease by Carla the lady who greeted me. Well recommend this clinic very professional and make you feel a valued customer
