The staff were super helpful in the Trentham village store.

I was looking for a pair of leather walking boots but I have a problem with the joint on my big toe..it won't bend which makes it difficult to get a boot on.
Kieran was extremely helpful with his advice and was very patient and knowledgeable on the boots he recommended would be best for me. He made sure they fitted properly and were comfortable, he gave us plenty of time to discuss our thoughts. Thank you Kieran, hopefully the boots will be perfect 👌

I was not looking forward to purchasing replacement walking boots as they are an expensive investment and there is too much choice... Mike could not have been more helpful - from discussing the benefits of different brands, what to look for in the sizing as well as product aftercare, it was a pleasure to speak with someone with a genuine passion for everything outdoorsy! Both Mike and the lady who took payment encouraged me to try the boots out at home and advised me of the returns policy to ensure they were fully suitable. This is not my local store but would make the journey again for the excellent service.

Cleo was super helpful and was everything an excellent sales assistant should be. Very pleased with the product and the advice given.

Paula at Trentham was so helpful. I could not fault the customer service provided. I am on a walking stick at the moment and she provided a personal shopper service to sort me and my husband out for various items for an upcoming trip. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Great shop full of all the essentials needed for outdoor exploration, had some amazing advise from Mike.

The help I received from Mike was absolutely fantastic. He helped me with the selection of a sleeping bag and when everything had been paid for, he helped pack the items onto my rollalator and was very patient and understanding as I suffer from Hydrocephalus.
This was first visit to Go Outdoors Express at Trentham Gardens and it won't be the last.
Customer service was exceptional.

The staff at Trentham were terrible.
They were standing around talking and when asked for help they told us to go on the Internet.
The staff before all these mergers were brilliant.
I spent fortunes when they were there.
Difficult with the present staff ~ same problems with different staff.
They do not help customers and know nothing about any of the stock.
Gone to the dogs.

The best service today from Cleo at the Trentham store - I needed some advice and she was very knowledgeable about the products and what would suite my needs.

Looking at some binoculars , a young man came straight over to ask if he could help . He was extremely helpful explaining the difference between 2 different pairs . All in all a very pleasant young man by the name of Joel 😊

My partner and I have been searching for replacement hiking boots, for some time.
We decided to visit Trentham Gardens store. We were greeted by Paula, a very pleasant knowledgeable lady.
Nothing was too much trouble, and we came away with just whst we wanted.
Luckiky enough we had membership discount, and National Trust discount. So we came away very happy with our purchase, and the whole experience. Thank you Paula.

The gentleman at the Trentham store is so helpful for my daughters Upcoming trip to Peru. We would not have a clue but he pointed us in the right direction every time, from thermals to hiking poles 5 stars.
