Visited the store at Trentham and purchased two pairs of walking boots/shoes and socks and received great service from Adrian. I get all my walking gear from Go Outdoors

The rain coat I bought is great quality, a perfect fit and good value for money and the staff were helpful and efficient.

There are a number of outdoor shops in this shopping area so a lot of choice. We called for some boot waterproofing spray and left with spray cleaner, spray boot waterproofing and a new pair of boots plus we renewed our expired membership! This was due to the outstanding customer care we received from a staff member, Paula. She was knowledgeable and helpful taking time to talk through the various boots, and pointing out great value boot care products. We would search out this lady if we were making another purchase.

I enjoy shopping here because the staff are enthusiasts and know their stuff! They don't act like pushy salesmen, they're friendly and they work as a team. It's refreshing!

Paula listened carefully to my problem with my walking boots, carefully fitted new ones and was kind and caring in her approach.

It was Paula !
She was so kind and patient. Nothing was too much trouble. We were buying boots and she helped us to find the perfect pairs. She suggested other styles which may have suited and we tried two sizes in each boot.
We both came away feeling very happy. It was not appropriate to give Paula a hug!

We visited the store today to purchase a sleeping bag. Joel walked past us and asked if we needed help, when we couldn’t decide which to purchase we called him over. He was very knowledgeable about the different types of sleeping bags and which would suit our needs.
We were served at the till by Adrian, again very helpful and got us set up with membership.
Both staff members were friendly, polite and knowledgeable about products we enquired about. We’d definitely shop there again.

The shop had a good selection of walking shoes and boots, at a fair. However, as a man with size 6 feet there were no suitable boots for me.
Asking advice from a staff member( well my wife did as us men don’t ask for help!) Paula straight away confirmed that there were size 6 boots that I was interested in the kids & women’s area, and she went straight away to get the boots. Sure enough the boots were tested and the choice was made.
Paula also explained the benefits of memberships and reductions available if I was interested. Having had a look around the store and stock available I chose to become a member. Saving money in the new boots straight away.

It was a real pleasure to buy my new hiking boots here. Service, by Adrian, was really good,; I was asked what help I needed, my requirements listened to and very sound advice given. Suggestions were made without being pushy and in a friendly, non-patronising manner. Just an excellent experience for someone who generally dislikes shopping.

Having called prior to our visit for a specific pair of trousers for my wife, we were met by the staff and assisted by Adrian...
After much deliberation, good advice (a plenty of assistance/patience) we left having purchased new walking trainers, trousers, jumper and 2 hats.. 😂

I went into the shop to ask about the correct fitting of my rucksack. A person named Adrian was very helpful and was very knowledgeable. I exited the shop very happy indeed.

Was served on Bank Holiday Monday by Paula. Great service and very helpful when buying a pair of walking shoes. Paula - if you see this the shoes are really comfy and slipping in the right shoe has not happened X X

Glyn was extremely useful, very polite and patient. He explained in detail the pros and cons of the shoes I tried. I never felt under pressure to buy something. I definitely buy here again !
