A friendly welcome at the door and left to browse footwear but soon as I asked for help Kieran gave me his full attention. He was knowledgeable and listened to my requirements based on age-related poor joints and lack of fitness before suggesting a walking shoe that may suit. He checked the shoe for fit and was very patient when I asked at 5.15pm to try the more expensive scapa boot and gave me just the same help. At no point did I feel rushed or pressurised and I eventually walked out with the more expensive Scapa. Very happy with customer service from Kieran who was polite and helpful.

Niall was extremely helpful and attentive. The store had what we needed at an excellent price. Always found it to be great for footwear.

I knew what I wanted, Merrell sandals size 5 left foot. Niall went the extra mile, being disabled was able to assist me getting them on over my brace but allowing me time to try doing it myself. Knowing I have 28 days to try them in my home is an added bonus.

Mike who helped kit me out with a waterproof jacket and insulating layer. He has a wealth of knowledge and really helped me out.

It is refreshing these days to find retail staff who care about the people they are serving and are prepared to do that bit extra to satisfy the customers needs. Having failed to complete an order on line, or so I thought, I visited the branch to buy a midlayer that I needed. When I arrived the size I needed was not on the rail so I asked if anymore were in stock. The lady at the till asked her colleague to check who reported there were none but offered to order online for me. When I recounted my experience of failing to complete an on line order the girls asked my name and then went off to check a put aside order in the store room. Bingo, Paula came back with the order I thought I had not completed. I was very pleased with their attention and that they had took the time to listen to my story and make the connection with the order they had put up earlier in the day. Well done ladies.

It is a great store to be in. They have a lot of variety when it comes toh hiking and trekking stuff. Usually they have good discounts on most of the products. Kieran was especially very helpful during my visit and was very enthusiastic to help us out.
I am very new to trekking and they helped me out a lot with what and how I should buy stuff for my upcoming trip.

I called the store to check the item I wanted was in stock and a very helpful member of staff confirmed it was and put the item on one side for me. When I arrived at the store a few hours later as promised the item was there and I was able to try it on and bought it. As I had seen the item online at a lower price the assistant matched the price which was most unexpected but much appreciated. The staff member Niall, who served me was very pleasant and helpful.

Really great advice and service today. Tom was very helpful & patient while I tried on multiple pairs of hiking shoes without being hurried, before I bought the perfect pair. Thanks guys!

We had amazing service from Niall when we visited GoOutdoors at Trentham Gardens. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Merrell trainers that I wanted to buy. He explained the importance of the Gortex element within the trainers and how to care for them correctly. It was a real pleasure to be helped by this young man. We would definitely recommend this store.

Absolutely fabulous customer service by Paula at Go Outdoors - Trentham Gardens. Paula certainly knows her stuff. We went in to purchase some walking boots for my husband. Paula spent quite some time with him. Giving advice & assistance. Very helpful & very pleasant 😊 No pushy sales patter, just very knowledgeable advice. Left to make his own decision. Thank you.
