Bad organisation in angling section
I mainly stick to the angling area when I come in, your not the worst store but the fishing section in a lot of big sports shops gets very rejected, there’s stuff not stocked up the shelves for days, price tags are missing…. It’s very manageable to get by but I find myself googling prices of your products whilst I’m actually in your store.

Good range of products but second time I have called in for walking shoes and no stock in my size as I dislike online shopping especially for shoes I have to look elsewhere

Not a great experience shopping at the…
Not a great experience shopping at the Stockport store, ordered four fishing pole elastics on line to be collected, got the text ready for collection, went there bought the elastics, got home checked everything thinking that’s not the same price as I got on line, found out I had been charged £13.50 instead of £6:30 for one of the elastics, lesson learned always check your stuff and receipt BEFORE Leaving the shop 😞

Saw a replacement waterproof coat in…
Saw a replacement waterproof coat in the sale. Same as my old one which is falling apart. Haphazard layout in store but I eventually found it . Great Peter Storm coat for dog walking. Good reduction . Happy customer. Massive shortage of customer service assistants , as always. Be prepared to search for things yourself as usually no one to ask.

No more blue light discount…
We shopped at the Stockport store and although we purchased most of what we were looking for, I was disappointed to learn Go Outdoors has stopped allowing Blue Light card discount. I appreciate they still have members discount, but the additional discount was very welcomed, especially in these hard times. We may need to look at shopping at other, cheaper stores in future.

Gone in to purchase some waterproof clothing for daughter to start uni. They have an excellent choice of suitable clothing and almost came away with a winter coat for myself…..

Asked Ollie C for help with finding camping fridges and took me straight to them. Also called a colleague to help with hook up leads. He the carried goods to checkout. Charlotte was also polite and helpful on the till showing patience whilst I juggled money on phone. Pleasurable outing makes a refreshing change these days.
