Peak ski season late January, yet hardly any stock in store except a few sale items. Ski goggles were in boxes in a locked cabinet with no staff available to get them out. So forced to order online, & despite having 7 of the ski goggles I wanted showing as in stock at 3 local stores, Click & Collect said there were none available, forcing me to pay £3.95 for home delivery. Contacted Customer Service but unhelpful reply, suggesting all 7 items “might” be reserved for other customers. (Doubt they were as still showed as in stock days later). Shambolic.

I visited the store with a Gift card for various shops, Go outdoors being one of them. I was unsure how to use the card and the exact value and expiry date of the card. Charlotte assisted and explained to me how the card worked, also informed me as to the value and expiry of the card. I then purchased two items and put the remaining cash difference to the purchase.
Charlotte was extremely professional, curtious and most helpful, she is a credit to your team and I hope she is valued by the Management as much as she is by the customer.

I wanted to buy an Paramo Alta 111 coat. Having checked Go outdoors price match in advance. I took my choice to the counter and requested a price match. I was told the one I selected was a different colour to the one I wanted to purchase. Both were blue. I was told the upper half was a different blue (which wasn't a problem) and was only available for go outdoors and therefore they would not price match. The difference in price was £50. So I bought the coat online which arrived in three days. Go outdoors lost that sale, which I'm sure that won't bother them. I do have a Go outdoors card and been a member for many years. Rather disappointed.

Came to the store to exchange an online purchase for a bigger size. The staff were friendly, helpful and made the exchange process quick and easy. Very happy with the service received.

Very friendly and helpful organising a price match for me.

I was served by Henry who gave me some good recommendations on suitable walking boots to match my footwear needs. This took a lot of the stress away choosing and finding the right fit. I had previously walked away from another store and ended up with the right purchase due to Henry’s help! Nothing was too much trouble, cheers Henry!!!

I use this store two or three times a year for my sons fishing gear and outdoor clothing coats etc always top quality gear and no matter which member of staff you get you always get fantastic customer service
