Lots of choice and great value. Really friendly and helpful staff. We were served by Lorna who was lovely, and super helpful letting me know I could use my blue light card for extra discount :-)

Great clothing section with some real bargains too!

Visited this afternoon and, as usual, the staff were excellent - very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, as always. Charlotte in particular was so nice to me and my wife. I have a broken arm at the moment and Charlotte served us and then helped us to get two larger items safely into our car. We are really grateful to her.

Went into the Stockport store to look at walking poles. A extremely helpful member of staff called Anthony answered all of our questions with clarity, explained the different mechanisms available and offered good advice. At no point did we feel any pressure from him to make a purchase - he was just happy to help and share his knowledge. We did end up buying some poles and look forward to trying them out on our next walking adventure. Anthony deserves recognition for his great customer service.

I wanted to exchange a faulty product like for like but the size wasn't available in store. I was refused a refund and given a gift card as a credit note. I asked if the store could order the right size but if I did that I would have to pay up front and wouldn't be able to use the gift card. I had to order it myself online and ended up paying more because there was no longer a discount on. Appalling customer service

The store has a good choice of clothing in a range of sizes. The prices are good ( with the card) and many of the items were in the sale. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Had my first disastrous camping trip. Tent Pump failed and we also, managed to rip the tent! Called into Go Outdoors in Edgely on our return to find replacement pump and repair kit. Spoke to a lovely gentleman called John, who was truly knowledgeable and went above and beyond in helping me. He looked to see whether he had a replacement adaptor for our pump, and also lubricated the pump for me, which saved me having to buy a replacement. Sadly they didnt stock the adaptors, but he gave me a website to buy replacement parts, and i ordered two there and then, which arrived within 2days! Result!
He talked me through the various options for repair kits and helped me decide on the best option, and he was generally so helpful! Nothing was too much trouble! This is my closest go Outdoors store, and I can honestly say that each and every time I visit, the staff there are lovely.

Quick service at checkout . My only issue is being unable to load my go outdoors card onto my mobile wallet. Had two cards- neither will load. Hence the 4 stars.

Super helpful staff, Lorna in particular was ace, sorting out a minor membership card issue with minimum fuss and checking everything I bought was in order before I left. Lots of stock, lots of choice, at good prices. Happy days.
