Great service by Beth and Camille, they were really helpful and friendly. There was lots of product choice in the store and we got exactly what we came for.

Helped by Beth in the shoe department Very helpful and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble.

I popped in to buy some walking boots. Beth was really friendly and very informative with sizing and styles. She spent a good while going through the options with me and I left with the comfiest pair I have ever owned. It was quiet when i got to the tills, Nana served me and she was also really lovely, I ended up chatting to her for a bit to avoid the rain. Overall a very cheerful and productive visit.

I have been a loyal Go Outdoors customer for many years and have spent thousands of pounds with the company on outdoor equipment. Until now, I had never needed to return an item for a fault.

Recently I purchased a pair of Mountain Peak Men's Megeve Waterproof Insulated Salopettes which tore after the first time I wore them. I returned to the Plymouth store expecting a reasonable resolution for what appears to be a faulty item. Instead, I was offered only a 10% discount, which I declined as this is not appropriate for a product that failed after a single use.

The experience in store left me feeling quite embarrassed and uncomfortable, which was disappointing given my long history with the company.

Customer services initially directed me back to the same store repeatedly, which did not help resolve the situation. After further emails, they eventually agreed that I could send the item directly to their warehouse for an independent assessment.

While I appreciate that compromise, the overall experience has unfortunately damaged my trust in Go Outdoors, particularly the way the issue was handled in store.

As someone who has supported the company for years, this was a very disappointing experience.

Great store, all staff are lovely and helpful! I was served by Steph today, she helped me renew my Go Outdoors members card, which makes a massive price difference! Super helpful :)

Jess was very helpful in both showing me a variety of dryrobes & also collecting the correct sizes from different parts of the store for me to try on. Jess gave me time to try each of them on & came back to enquire how I was getting on without any pressure to buy anything. When asked I asked her for her opinion about the dryrobe she honestly told me what she thought suited me best.

A warm ‘Thank You’ to Nana on the till yesterday. Lovely lass and grateful for her help.

The first pair of walking boots turned out to be not waterproof (which they should have been), so we returned them as faulty. The staff were great, processing the return, and then assisting with selection of a different brand. My only criticism would be that the sales assistant in the footwear area was perhaps too overbearing.

Staff always helpful. Plenty of variety and good prices.

Had a slight issue in store which I then spoke to the manager Alana about . This was resolved professionally and was extremely friendly . Absolute asset to the company . I’m extremely grateful to Alana . A perfect team leader which others can learn from .

Visited the store for the first time to enquire about changing gas bottles. Staff member Megan Cijess ? assisted me and signed me up for a discount card which I was able to use on my first purchases. Great service with friendly, helpful staff.

The young Lady on the checkout called Nana if I’m correct was very polite and very helpful indeed, I wish more staff were like her.

I bought a new rain jacket for a great price with the kind help of two brilliant members of staff, Megan.S served me on the till and Sue helped me when I couldn’t find the tag.

Nana and Megan S made my day. They were both very helpful and really funny. Made me feel young again. I came in and was pointed in the right direction, all my questions were answered and I didn't even have to flutter my eye lids.

Failed delivery, staff very unhelpful, told me to contact DPD. , contacted them they said it was a failed delivery as no full address given so to get back in touch with Go Outdoors, delivery was then allegedly sent to a pick up point , going to this location today to see it is there, then to confuse the issue further just had an email to say it is in store, I will let you know if this is the case later, lots of time wasted and inconvenience caused . Will never use online to store again

Helpful staff throughout the visit whilst trying on shoes. Nana, at the checkout was also helpful whilst we purchased our membership for the year. Would visit again without hesitation.
