Nana and staff and Jay A are all great staff and very helpful. They should all get a pay rise

What a pleasant experience I’ve just had with a lovely shop assistant called Nana, not only was she extremely helpful but also very knowledgeable.

Visited the Plymouth store today. All staff were really friendly, always very helpful in there. All smiled and were welcoming. I was served at the counter by Nana today who was particularly lovely and helpful.

Excellent range of stock and sensible prices. Knowledgeable and professional staff who are very helpful and have a depth of individual product knowledge. I was served at the checkout by ' Steph' who provided extra advice and support on how to care for the items I had purchased. Thank you

Useless again.
Usually stock is an issue and orders just cancelled.
Not available for click and collect for some unknown reason.
Paid extra for next day delivery and not even dispatched on time.
Had to cancel in the end as it disappeared then reappeared.
Don't bother offering next day if you can't fulfill it!

Went in today (9/2/26) for a pair of boots.

Was helped by Alex who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly.
He wasn’t too pushy but clearly knew his stuff. Came away with a nice pair of boots which I’m excited to try.
Was served on the counter by Steph who was equally charming.

Arrived at store with a large kit list that was required for a tanzania trip, Elspeth and Beth was very helpful, they listened to what I was asking, showed me different ways to help with the layering of clothes, Elspeth would ask what my budget was for each item I was needing, showing a range of clothes, I spent 3 hours in the shop purchasing everything that was required cant thank Elspeth and beth enough with all the help I recieved Thankyou

Lovely staff, all very competent. I joined as a member, but had not received my number yet. The staff member yesterday was great, checked it all out with manager then used another code to ensure I got my discount with blue light. Today I returned one oh the items, and bought something else, so quite complicated. Nana was calm and sorted every out effortlessly!

I went looking for a coat & got 2. Really pleased with my purchases but a bit disappointed that the price after the members discount was the same price that most other shops were offering for the same product, so no discount at all, just overpriced in the first place

Not going to lie; I went with low expectations. I was there to look at and try walking boots with a view to then going elsewhere to buy, probably online. I didn’t think the staff would be knowledgeable enough. I don’t think of GO as a ‘proper’ outdoors shop. But I didn’t bank on being served by Ayden. He was so helpful and his knowledge of the various boots was incredible. He took so much time to explain the differences between the boots but didn’t once try to push me into the most expensive pair. He went to great trouble to find me boots that would fit, bringing me multiple pairs to try and with no complaint. He even encouraged me to walk around the shop for a while to see how they felt. He was also very kind and tolerant of a woman who seemed to be using the store as some kind of playground for her children. A lovely, friendly, professional young man who had time for people. As absolute credit to the store.

I’d also mention that Elspeth was great on the till. Also very patient and helpful when I was struggling to recall my details of my membership. Readily happy to give a discount too when I’d shown her proof of the boots being cheaper online.

All in all, a very positive experience.

Visited the store not knowing any thing about hiking shoes/socks / waterproofs. Needing to buy for my daughters D of E. Served by Paige who was very patient, informative and kind. Also served by Elspeth who was just as lovely and skilled with customer service. Great experience and happy with purchases made.
