I happened to be spontaneously inquiring for the prices of a pair of specific branded, thermal lined, water-resistant trousers, and got exactly what I wanted, I even renewed my membership (which was out of date) just for the occasion.
Even if they hadn’t stocked the specific brand I was curious about, they have a considerable selection of other brands and full waterproofs; like I’d alluded to at the beginning, for its size, a considerably well stocked Aladdin’s cave, containing a plethora of outdoorsy prep paraphernalia and comfortable attire to sufficiently equip the modern human in their adventurous travels.

I’ll be returning:)

Wow! Great customer service from Libby at the go outdoor express store in Newcastle-under-Lyme. I was enquiring about a Vango tent that was ideal for use with a motorcycle, in that it packs small, is light and loads of room. Said tent is discontinued been everywhere trying to source it. Go outdoor customer services advised it was end of line but to give this local store a call just in case. I called and spoke to Libby, she told me the same but would still make some enquiries with some internal contacts. I said I would call back and also left my details. Tbh I didn't think anything would come from it as I had tried everywhere already. Anyway a couple of days later I got a missed call message. Libby had found the last one they had in the UK , not only that she had got the store it was located at to send it over to her store so she could reserve it for me. Dont normally get great customer service like this and totally unexpected. Go outdoors are lucky to have a brilliant staff member like Libby and should definitely make sure they hang on to her. Thanks Libby :)

It's only a small shop but the choice of things is brilliant the staff are very friendly and helpful they let you to walk around and don't try to push anything on you

Went to the store today to collect my purchase, it was so easy and met two very nice assistants, they were helpful and extremely happy considering the weather outside was terrible, really cheered me up .

Excellent service. Just popped in to look at jackets and ended up becoming a Club member. The staff are incredibly friendly but not pushy. I’m going back to get some walking boots to go with my new jacket 😀
