As always great help from Emily and a good range of gear given we’re not super close to a national park you’d be surprised at how much is catered for!

Ordered and paid on line, click and collect. All very simple and easy to do. The woman at click and collect was friendly and very helpful. I would give them 5 stars but the click and collect point has been moved from the store entrance where the tills are, right to the very back of the store. Stupid decision that.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, I didnt have a clue what I needed but they made everything so simple and easy and Luke on the desk was next level!
Will definitely be going back!

Bought a tent today,Henry was incredibly helpful. He quized my choice of tent and saved me from buying a pop up tent which I find very frustrating to pack. At the till Emily was efficient and friendly. She stayed friendly even when typing my membership card 4 times as I kept finding things to buy. The price I paid for a display tent was outstanding value. Very satisfied customer. Thank you!

I wish they would sort the aircon out though as it’s unbelievable hot in store.

Went to buy a tent, and needed some advice and guidance, Lochlan looked after me very well, very friendly, very kind, and new his stuff, so I was very happy with my visit and the extra customer service lochlan supplied.

Vikki was very kind and helpful in helping me choose some sandals despite the shop being incredibly hot. Nobody should have to work in those conditions - she even mentioned she had been suffering from heat exhaustion the day before.

employ staff who know and understand the product they are selling and who go out of their way to engage with customers. Josh and Luke were so clued in. Josh is so good- impressive, knowledgeable, professional and quick thinking.

First time in store getting supplies for my sons upcoming DOE Bronze expedition. Not knowing a thing about camping or what would be needed apart from a list of recommended items, I happened to be in an aisle and the lovely Phoebe approached us as she must have seen my son and I scratching our heads at the various items and where to start. She walked us through the store and found us all the items and even alternatives which she explained would work better from her own personal experience of doing the DOE herself. No pressure sales, incredibly polite, professional and looked happy to be there. Owning a business myself, I am acutely aware of how important first impressions and people skills are in public facing roles. I would happily hire her myself but I've got a feeling she's happy where she is so may be difficult to pry away!

Excellent service from Phoebe and the team. Do yourself a favour and come in store and see the difference a face to face interaction makes rather than doing everything online which we've all become accustomed to nowadays. Will definitely return here should the need arise 👍

I received great customer service today by Lochlan at Loughborough go outdoors, which is a rarity in this day and age.
He was very knowledgeable about the products and nothing was too much trouble, he helped me choose the correct day bag for my up-and-coming charity trek to Machu Picchu thank you Lochlan - keep smiling

Nice assistant, but not enough staff per customer. Also the assistant didn't appear to have knowledge when asked for advice about what boot, size etc . Which is pretty important in a walking boot. I'm not holding the person to account. It must be a lack of training.Not enough stock availability - boot type and sizes. I now wish I hadn't paid for membership. I went to another brand store and got the help I needed.
