Awful, terrible, no call no show

Awful, 1 email with date and time, no call no showed. Called 3 times no answer, sent text no answer and tried chat and it says no agents available. Called my insurance company back to let them know and they can not reach them either. DO NOT USE!!!!

Look at their Reviews it says it all!!!

This company is as everyone on this review and every other review company shows a one star service and if the people writing reviews could give a -5 star they would, this company is a scam and more worried about their pockets then honoring the warranty services that they were hired for by major appliances companies. I've scheduled two appointments now from Whirlpool to have this company come out and repair my refrigerator that's under warranty and was told by Whirlpool support that they can see everything that the representatives from Whirlpool can see about my warranty but they refuse to come out and require you to make a payment first or send them the warranty or closing paperwork before they will honor any repairs under warranty. It's already hard enough to get through to Whirlpool support and warranty to setup the appointment which took me 2 days and 8 hours to get the appointment setup and then they email the warranty service to you and Goodman Home Services won't honor the appointment!

Unbelievably Unresponsive

I had scheduled an appliance repair appointment for September 23. It was rescheduled to October 2, then again to October 15. Since the first reschedule, I have made repeated attempts to reach the company through their online chat (both mornings and afternoons), but only receive the message “All our agents are currently assisting other customers. Please try again later.”
I have also sent multiple emails and left several voicemails without any response. I just want to cancel the service because I cannot get anyone to come out, and I cannot get anyone to communicate with me. This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about how this company operates.

Changed my appointment twice

Changed my appointment twice. With lots of work happening at same time, I missed the technician on date scheduled (3 weeks after event). I am reporting this to Westinghouse. I have never had such poor service! And yes, people out here do make mistakes sometimes. Very difficult situation. Company never answers their calls. Never.

So bad we had KitchenAid send another company

Our lovely KitchenAid refrigerator is making noises so I scheduled a warranty repair with KitchenAid. They assigned the repair to Goodman Home Services to come out on 9/15.

On 9/18, goodman emailed to say they couldn't make that date. I called and we worked out a new date of 9/23.

I then got an email saying they were sorry about having to change the date and asking us to call. While we already had a new date, I called. No answer so I left a message for a return call. No return call. So I sent and email to the address they gave me. No response.

On 9/23, of course, no notice and no technician. No text. No email. No call. Another phone call which went to voice mail and again, no response.

Somewhere on their web site I found they'd rescheduled for 10/1.

The web site is also almost useless - took forever to find my repair order. And their IVR system says you can uses "web chat", but there's nothing to be found on the web site about that either.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Cannot keep rearranging days for an appointment they move without consulting or notice.

Fortunately, KitchenAid was able to schedule with another company. I will never do business with GHS.

Can't reach an actual person

This company was sent through choice home warranty. I schedule an oven repair on July 21, 2025 and was assigned Goodman home solutions. Tech came on 31st as scheduled. Ordered some parts and said he come back. Parts came. He returned on August 7 and installed the part. Same day he left, oven had the same problem. He replaced the wrong part. Aug 21 they said he could come back on Sept 3rd. Sept 2nd they rescheduled to September 12th. Their customer service number is an ai voice bot. Emails are unanswered. Today is Sept 3. Screw this place and choice home warranty

This company is a scam operation

This company is a scam operation. We had a warranty call for a Smeg speed oven where the microwave function stopped working. Smeg assigned the service call to Goodman Home Solutions and then GHS assigned it to a local repair shop. The local repair shop initially reached out but then stopped responding. When we got in touch with them again they said GHS told them the work order was closed.

It has been over FIVE MONTHS since our warranty call and:
- Our appliance is still broken
- Nobody has even looked at the appliance
- Goodman has never responded to an inquiry
- And if I had to guess, GHS charged the manufacturer for a service call they never made

This is what crooks and criminals do. The company is a complete scam.

Dishonest. Fake appointments

They charged for a service call for my refrigerator 8/26/25 for a 8/27/25 service call they did not do. The supervisor scheduled the service for 8/28/25. They did not show then said they can come next week to service my refrigerator that has no power. All of my food is gone. Dishonesty companies prey on hardworking people. I've requested a refund and will report back when and if I receive my refund.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company. You can never reach anyone to get a status on a repair. You cannot find any information to help escalate my repair. They must do this intentionally. Whirlpool dispatched Goodman Home Solutions to fix my 5-month old microwave. Two parts are backordered with no expected date. Whirlpool has no information and cannot help even though Whirlpool selected this company and my microwave is still under warranty.

This is a horrible company

This is a horrible company. My stovetop broke on June 29 it is now august 19 and I’m still waiting for the technician to show up. They don’t answer their phone, they don’t communicate with the customer, their online chat doesn’t work, the first time they showed up they said they had to order parts only some of the parts came the second time they ordered parts, same thing only some came. Stay away from this company.

The WORST Appliance Repair Company EVER

First Off - They are ZERO Stars. This was the WORST Experience EVER. You can barily get them to answer the phone. Chat response is SLOW. My first scheduled appointment made by Whirlpool was botched. I requested July 25th 8am-12pm. They sent a confirmation for August 1st which fell during our vacation out of the country. They then offered August 8th 8-12 and I accepted. We had to purchase a smaller microwave to enable our daughter to have use. The day before our appointment we received a text confirmation for August 15th. I had taken off work and my wife had taken off work previously. I was livid to say the least. I was told that they had (ONE) Tech to service Katy, TX and he was out sick.
I stated to them to cancel everything and I found another repair company that showed up the same day and fixed our over range microwave. Today is August 15th .... I received a text from a tech stating that he was 5 minutes from my house. I have never experience a company that is so out of touch, un professional and plain ASS Backwards!! Do NOT enter a service agreement with Whirlpool, because you will get these idiots assigned to drive you NUTS!!!

Terrible!

Terrible!! My oven broke on 07/04/2025, I was assigned Goodman Home Solutions by my Kitchenaid/Whirlpool warrenty. They didn't come until 07/18/25. The technician was over an hour late of the 1p-5p window and then came with no tools and no parts. he said he had to diagnose the issue and then order parts. The parts arrived the last week of July but I couldn't get a technician scheduled to come back until 08/06. On 08/06, the technician no called/no showed for the 1p - 5p window. I called Kitchenaid finally at 8p and the technician ended up coming over at 9:30p that evening. He showed up NOT ready to work. He looked for every excuse to leave!! He said the warrenty company ordered the wrong element and he couldn't do the repair. He left and I still have a broken oven and am awaiting a new part to arrive at which time I will need to schedule again - probably another several weeks before they can come back. The communication and lack of accountability with this company is HORRIBLE. I am very unhappy with this whole experience.

Don't even try.

I am not even sure if this is a real company... Their AI chatbot is apparently always "busy" so you can't communicate with it. I called many times trying to speak to someone on the phone because they pushed the appointment back a week without checking, and you just get left on a half hour hold and are forced to leave a message (which they won't respond to). You can try to send them a message on the website but don't expect a response to that either. No response to an email either. Their photos on the website are AI as well, and with no signs of humans, I am genuinely not sure if this is even a real company. Don't think for a second to utilize this "business", they are not here to help you.

This company has very poor customer…

This company has very poor customer service. They change appointments without notification, they don't stay intouch with the customer. It is very difficult to speak to someone on the phone. I have a warranty and they did not fix the problem after I had to wait two weeks. They ordered another part without coming to see what they did wrong the first time. After the first part repaired the dishwasher sound worst than it did before. I am very disappointed with the service.

no show on appointment day

made an appointment on monday. they rescheduled to tuesday. sent a message saying that it had to be wednesday. the tech showed up tuesday anyway, when i was getting ready for work. the tech was rude & showed me the appointment on his phone. he said he had to order a part that would arrive in 1 week & left. i could have ordered this part myself. also, no one anwers the phone or emails

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. I have a service contract through Whirlpool and this is the company that does the service. They change appointment times without speaking to you and they do not care what you say.... Think twice before using this company.

The worst company I’ve ever worked…

The worst company I’ve ever worked with. The first appt they didn’t bother showing up. The second appt the guy comes out. Says he’s missing the part but acts like he’s fixing the dyer. Says there is lint in it and wants to charge $90 to vacuum it. A 2 second job. He said that eventually it might burn out the heater. I decline and do it myself. Then try the dryer and it still is doing the same thing. I contact them to let them know and they want me to pay for them to come back out to fix it.

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company. Technician named Andrew scheduled for 12-5 pm. He called me to say he was at my house at 10 and refused to come at appointed time. Then he called back at 11:30 to say I was in luck due to a cancellation but by 12 he couldn't do it because he would have to cancel. I was home so let him come. He was nasty, had no tools, no familiarity with range, refused to listen to the problem and said because he didn't see it happening at that moment he would do nothing and there was no problem. Front right burner is not lighting intermittently. Incompetent, nasty. Their phone service is terrible as well.
