Customer beware

Customer beware! This vendor does not know what they are doing. Goodman Home Solutions was sent out by my Home Warranty provider(Cinche) which I had originally made the claim for my home refrigerator 11/30/2025, we are now 02/01/2026 and still no resolution. Goodman has come out 4 times missed the first appointment completely no call, no show and when we called to complain and or question they said their tech had a medical emergency. No communication what so ever. I have went round and round with Cinche that I do not want them back and they too give me excuses and no straight answer. This is an essential appliance and need resolution. Their tech(Steven) latest excuse was that he had the wrong refrigerant and he would be back only to reschedule for another week! This is the most unprofessional group and they should have all their licenses and permits pulled. Someone should investigate their business and work practices. If they assign you this vendor you should contest immediately!!

The slowest refrigerator repair service existing! Go elsewhere

We came here for our winter home vacation and the fridge was out so I called my home warranty and they made authorization for Goodman. We would do without our refrigerator for almost 3 weeks before they could get here. If you see their name hang up and call your warranty back or find someone for yourself. Goodman sucks! Don't believe anything on their advertisement page about their quick and fast service.

Totally unreliable

Totally unreliable. They rescheduled my appointment 4 times-4 time I was told tech enroute-never showed. Left telephone message for Good Home expressing frustration with their service. Following morning tech called saying he’d be there shortly - when confronted regarding failure to make scheduled appointment he stated that he came & no one was home-Flat out lie! Followed was call from GoodHome responding to my phone message. The excuse given was that tech “has a lot of territory to cover.” First service request was 7 weeks earlier.

Terrible Service - DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. They came out a week after Frigidaire initially assigned them the case. They ordered the parts to be delivered and scheduled an apppointment for a week later. Today is that day. No one came. I contacted them and they made excuses saying that they needed prior approval and that they now would come another week from now. Had this not been assigned to them directly from Frigidaire I would NEVER use this service. Clearly from other reviews, this is their MO.

Came to replace the ice maker

Came to replace the ice maker in Whirlpool fridge. Guy stated he had never worked on the model so brought up YouTube. After struggling for 1.5 hours, said it was fixed and said to wait 24 hours before trying. Now I know why he said to wait 24 hours. Because not only did he not fix it he actually broke it. And he didn’t even turn the water back on. This was 2 days before Thanksgiving. I called and scheduled another appointment. 2 days before that appointment I got a call to reschedule saying the tech had a family emergency. I said ok. Then I got a text rescheduling the appointment for after the new year! I call whirlpool (I’m still under warranty) and requested a new company. It’s finally fixed but Goodman keeps sending me text messages rescheduling my appointment. When you call to speak someone they put you on hold for long a time and tell you to go chat on their website. Tried doing that but it says to try again later. Worst customer service ever. Techs have no clue what they are doing and break things. And the tech knew he broke it as he didn’t bother to remove the broken piece or even mention it. He just laid it in the ice maker). Avoid at all costs. I really hope they spend the time and money to send someone out so I can ignore them!!

Horrible service

Horrible service! First appointment was scheduled for 12/15/25, then they pushed it back to 12/19, then again to 12/22. Tech came out 12/22, didn’t have all the parts, scheduled a second appointment for 12/29, for some reason that no one can answer it pushed back to 1/2/26, from 8am to Noon, and as of 1pm, still a no show. And NO ONE is helpful!

Commercial Operators Beware !!

We are a day spa with a brand new whirlpool W/D that leaked from the day it was delivered. While dealing with the seller and not getting satisfaction we opened a warranty ticket with Whirlpool and they assigned Goodman.

Goodman's lead times are intolerable. As a business we were dead in the water and had to use laundromats at great expense. We opened a ticket on November 7, 2025 and it still was not resolved by 12/19/2025.

Such a sham and dishwasher is still broken over 6 weeks later

I don't give bad reviews lightly. However in this case everyone deserves to know how horrible it is to deal with this company. From the start, we scheduled an appointment through KitchenAid's site but that wasn't accurate because Goodman has to reach out to collect $125 fee (I under the fee) then schedule. Times are rarely available and never timely. Tech comes out and he tells us we need two parts which we have to pay for then schedule another visit. Our dishwasher is two years old and we're now another $440 in to fix. Technician no shows. Trying to talk to Goodman either online or on the phone is near impossible and all you get is a constant runaround. Parts aren't what is needed. They wait two weeks with no information as to next steps until we keep contacting them where they say Dec 23rd. (This started Nov 15th.) Eventually the tech shows back up after 530pm on the 23rd to tell us in-person after making us wait since Dec 1st for a follow up that the solution is to order an entire new door to the tune of another $400++ (why wasn't this a phone call???) .....oh and the parts we paid for that aren't the correct parts, no refund offered. I've left messages, filed a complaint with the BBB, tried online chat, even tried contacting the tech directly with no resolution other than Goodman taking $440 from us and leaving us with useless parts and a broken dishwasher. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Avoid Goodman Home Solutions if possible

If you don't want to read this long review, here is the summary. Avoid working with Goodman Home Solutions if possible.

I bought a washer at Costco that broke within the first year. I called Costco and they worked with Whirlpool to set up the warranty service with Goodman Home Solutions.

The issue was reported to Costco and Whirlpool on Friday November 28. We were told we would get an email from Goodman and it would include a date and time but that the date and time would not be the actual service date, and that they would email again with an updated date.

On Sunday November 30, we received an email from Goodman with a scheduled date of Monday December 8.

I called Goodman on Monday December 1 to see if someone could come out before Monday December 8. I was told a part was ordered and would be shipped to me by Monday December 8. I asked for tracking information but was told it could not be provided. I also asked how they knew what part to order if a technician had not been here to look at the machine. They said it was based on the description of the issue and my model number.

Goodman called me on Friday December 5 at 4:45 pm to inform that the technician was sick and the service had to be moved to Wednesday December 10. I asked about the part and they informed it was on backorder and they did not know when it would be available. At this point I wanted to find another service provider but since it was closing time on a Friday, I was out of luck.

I called Whirlpool on Monday December 8 to see if I could use another service provider. I was told by Whirlpool that since a work order was already open that it couldn't be done, I was out of luck.

Goodman emailed me on Wednesday December 10 and said the technician was still sick and the service had to be changed to Thursday December 11.

Goodman technician arrived on Thursday December 11 and spent 5 min at the machine and advised it needed a control board and water inlet valve. He said the board was on backorder and he didn't have an ETA. He said the water inlet valve was in stock.

I called Goodman on Thursday December 11 and asked to speak with a supervisor. I told them if I didn't get an update by the end of the day about the backordered part that I was going to cancel the work order.

I did not hear back from Goodman so I called them on Friday December 12. I was told the board was shipped and would arrive on Friday December 12. I received a tracking number from FedEx. Goodman also told me that they did not have an ETA on the water inlet valve. I asked how this was possible and they could only say the parts department was handling the order and they would have an ETA when the order was placed. I told them I would call back in the afternoon for an update.

I called Goodman back multiple times on Friday December 12 in the afternoon and each time the calls went to voicemail. I left a message and asked for a return call. Never received one.

The board arrived on Monday December 15. I called Goodman to get an ETA on the water inlet valve. I was told the ETA was Wednesday December 17, but they could not give a tracking number. I don't know how you can have an ETA without tracking information. They said they could update my service date to Thursday December 18 to allow time for the water inlet valve to be delivered.

I called Goodman on Tuesday December 16 to see if they had a tracking number for the water inlet valve. While on hold, I received the tracking information via email, with the part scheduled to arrive on Tuesday December 16. When Goodman answered the call, I asked if I could have my scheduled service moved to Wednesday December 17 but they said there is only one technician in my zip code and there was no one available from surrounding zip codes. They said there are only two technicians in nearby zip codes, one of the technicians only works Tuesday and Thursday and the other is booked. Service was confirmed for Thursday December 18 between 8 am and 12 pm.

I called Goodman at 12 pm on Thursday December 18 because the technician did not arrive during the scheduled window. The person I spoke to advised that their other job was running long and that they would call me to give me an ETA. The technician arrived at 12:45 pm. Someone should have contacted me before 12 pm to let me know they were going to be late.

The technician installed the parts and successfully tested the washer. After he left I had to move the washer back to its proper position and noticed that none of the water that was spilled while replacing parts was cleaned up. I had to do that myself prior to running the first full load.

Main issue with this company is poor communication, slow or no follow up, and service lead times that are lousy. Avoid if possible.

Terrible service

Terrible service. They scheduled an appointment 10 days ago for this afternoon between 1-5. They confirmed it twice today. Tech never showed and when I called they said there was a miscommunication and service wouldn’t be available for two weeks.
Stay away from these people!!

This is unbelievable...

They set an appointment for 12/08, and a few days, they said that the technician was sick, so they reschedule for 12/16 in the morning.
One day before I received a message saying that it was schedule for the afternoon.
I called and was told that the technician changed for the afternoon because he had an oil change.
I said that a customer is more important then his oil change, I was placed an hold and a minute latter was told that OK, he will come in the morning.
Waited in the morning on the next day and nobody appears.
I called the Goodman Center and was told that was reschedule again, now for the 22nd. because the technician got a medical leave.
MY GOODNESS !!!
THE COMPANY RELAYS ONLY ON ONE TECHNICIAN?
Forget it, I have better things to do than to be at their disposition...

I would give zero stars if I could

This company does repairs for home Depot warranty in North Port FL. They are ABSOLUTELY horrible! If I could give zero stars I would! They do NOT respond to any emails. They do NOT answer their phones! Their live chat constantly says chatting with another customer and to try again later. They never arrived for their 4 he scheduled window. I FINALLY got them in the phone the next day and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and refused to apologize. She claims I forwarded their call to voicemail the day of my apt. But everyone knows when you call from any 1-800, phones today automatically fwd them to voicemail. Which if this did happen, they left no voicemail. Even if they did, I called multiple times day of my apt, sent multiple emails, and no one answered or responded regardless. I have contacted home Depot warranty to find a new service provider, as I do not want this company inside my home.

I was connected to Goodman home…

I was connected to Goodman home solutions for a warranty claim on a two week old whirlpool washer. My initial appointment was two weeks after calling. On the day of my appointment, I called Goodman to find out they had moved my appointment to one week later in order to “ Order parts“. A week later when the technician arrived, he did not have any parts available and said he was not aware of any parts having been ordered. He spent 20 minutes on the phone with the Whirlpool company, And Ann said the parts required for repair had been ordered today, would be shipped to my home address, and I should call to schedule another appointment when the parts arrived. Now, one week later, no parts have arrived, and when I call Goodman home solutions, they say that they are waiting for authorization from Whirlpool to order the parts, and my next appointment was scheduled for December 22, two weeks from the date of this review. I am going on approximately seven weeks with a broken appliance that malfunction at two weeks of age after purchase new. I am not getting any help from Whirlpool either, however, this is beyond a shadow of a doubt, the worst repair service experience I have ever had based on the poor, lack of, and dishonest communications. I have received from Goodman home services. I would advise using any other company possible for your appliance repair needs.

Andre had a scheduled repair for my…

Andre had a scheduled repair for my elderly mom yesterday kept saying he was coming and ending up as a no call no show.

Now he scheduled her 3 days later without her consent and poor lady has been living with no fridge for weeks.

Horrible service and no nice way to treat people.

Absolutely worst customer service!!

Absolutely worst customer service!!! Actually there is no customer service. They don’t pick up the phone, they don’t respond to texts and when you can get on to “chat” they lied about the scheduled date. It took me close to 2 days to even get on chat saying everyone one busy and try again. I am so glad that I was able to cancel everything and they didn’t get any on my money. I have been trying to just get a confirmed repair date for 4 days. I was able to find a competent repair company to fix my refrigerator with no hassles!!! Stay away from this company.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible
Made appointment gave cell number to call when they got to gate. Never called said no one answered said completed repair. After multiple calls to Hone Depot and Goodman have another appointment

Bought extended warranty from Home Depot they use Goodman. Terrible company

Terrible service all around. Steer clear from this vendor

I've been trying to get services from this company for over a moth and a half. They keep on moving my appointment week after week. I am tired of waiting.
The Chat feature is terrible, does not work. Can never get anyone online in it.
Calling is a nightmare, you have to leave a message and never que a response.
Do not recommend this company to anyone that needs a repair.

Extremely Disappointed with Repeated Cancellations

I don’t have enough bad words to describe how frustrated I am and how TERRIBLE this experience has been!

After paying for the service, having the technician come to your home should be simple — but it’s been a nightmare.

The first appointment was scheduled for November 5th. I rearranged my entire day to be available, only to get a call that morning saying the technician couldn’t make it and needed to reschedule. Even after multiple complaints, they couldn’t send anyone that day and moved it to November 10th.

Once again, I changed my schedule and worked from home — which is not easy for me — and for the second time, right in the middle of the scheduled window, they sent a text and email postponing the visit to the following week.

This is absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

They were supposed to be the best(?)

They were supposed to be the best company from Domestic and General but no showed for my leaking Maytag dishwasher in Mt Pleasant SC last week. I was supposed to have a Whirlpool/Maytag warranty but they subcontracted with D&G who then subcontracted with Goodman. Goodman would not/could not release the active work order for me to even get another vendor out. They told me they have one serviceman in our area every other Thursday! So no way to fix an actively leaking dishwasher. There is no way this company is a 4.9 rating, nor is D&G. I did a review on their site and it says it "has to be approved" so that's how they are 4.9 is the delete all bad reviews by them on their own website evidently (*?)
