After using the Gillette Venus ComfortGlide White Tea Scented razor, I experienced a severe skin reaction within about 20 minutes of shaving. I shaved wet with a brand-new razor and did not use any other new products.

Almost immediately, my skin became extremely itchy and burning, with widespread redness and raised bumps across the shaved area. This was not mild razor burn — it was an intense inflammatory reaction that caused significant discomfort and forced me to stop shaving completely while my skin healed.

The scented glide bars appear to release fragrance and chemicals directly onto the skin during shaving, which may trigger strong reactions, especially for sensitive skin. There is little warning about how severe these reactions can be.

I am sharing this experience so other consumers can be informed and cautious. I strongly recommend fragrance-free alternatives and clearer warnings for this product.

This is regarding the 1 of Gillette's newer blades... GilletteLabs (the green & black labelling package).
The replacement blades went up about 75% in recent months & all I can say is, thanks... Simply because you encouraged me to find a more cost-effective solution & I did, for fraction of the cost of 1 of these blades.
After using Gillette for over 30 years, it was time for change but we had a good run, thanks again.

Garbage products and awful customer service

Una rasatura eccezionale, attualmente uso la linea Labs, ripeto una meraviglia, rasatura perfetta .

Qualità e super maneggevolezza, effetto incredibile, consiglio abbinata alla schiuma da barba Gilette Labs specifica ne rimarrete soddisfatti.

Ik gebruik al jaren Cien scheermesjes van de Lidl. Super scheermesjes! Voor het eerst Gillette scheermesjes gekocht en gebruikt. Nooit meer! Bot/stomp en veeeeel te duur! Troep!

Paid nearly $80 for 8 razors that barely last a week each. Do yourself a favour and don’t get sucked in the money trap that is Gillette, I will be finding an alternative immediately in hopes of better value for money.

Halfuur in de wachtrij gestaan voor hulp met een opzetkammetje bestellen omdat de ouwe kapot was gegaan. Uiteindelijk maar opgehangen want zo druk kan het volgens mij ook weer niet zijn daar.

Beter kruidvat mesjes!!

Kocht een pak met gillette Labs scheermesje. Vermelding promo 100% terugbetaald. Maar dan wanneer je dit wil aanvragen staat er doodleuk dat het al is afgesloten de dag voor mijn aankoop en inlog 3 dagen later. Misleiding tot en met de actie loopt tot 31/12/2025! Dat is nog een volle maand! Pure misleiding!

Compro da anni ed anni lamette Gillette , in questo ultimo anno c'è stato un netto peggioramento :

al supermercato non avevo fatto a tempo per la promozione del pacchetto a 7 lamette Fusion Pro Glide , le ho prese quindi a giugno su un negozio ebay nel pacchetto risparmio a 9 lamette. Le ho iniziate ad usare da luglio inoltrato , solitamente ognuna mi dura un paio di mesi abbondanti non facendo la barba tutti i giorni. Sia nella prima che nella seconda a ottobre ho riscontrato lo stesso difetto da bassa qualità : la striscia lubrificante si stacca dalla sede e cade dopo poco tempo , molto molto prima dei 30 giorni di uso garantito , cioè nel mio caso poche settimane dopo averla avviata ad usare. Siccome come hanno notato vari clienti le lame di per sé senza lubrificante sono più dure delle produzioni passate ( gomma blu e striscia celeste o verde per intendersi ) è importante che come normale la striscia resti attiva per qualche decina di rasature , non che si stacchi addirittura.

Ho deciso qualche settimana fa di contattare Gillette Italia ho poi mandato le foto di quello che ho comprato , la prova di acquisto ebay e pagamento PayPal , tutto quello che avevo dopo qualche mese dall'acquisto. Chiaro che poteva immaginare che difficilmente potevo avere la scatola di cartone per dare alla signorina Silvia del " servizio Relazioni consumatori

Procter and Gamble" , il codice di produzione necessario per "aiutarmi meglio ".

Ha guardato bene di prenderla come scusa per non aiutarmi e di fatto non mi ha più fatto sapere niente : io avevo anche proposto se necessario l'invio delle mie lamette rimaste non usate ovviamente in cambio di qualche ricambio in sostituzione . Vedi mai dare l'impressione di chi si vuole approfittare per avere roba a gratis !

Il pacchetto risparmio va bene ma non può e non deve essere a discapito della qualità con roba fatta in Cina, tanto per cambiare , e mi permetto di dire che una azienda SPA si può sicuramente permettere di venire incontro al cliente da decenni senza essere in difficoltà. Non andate in rovina anche perché anziché nella qualità i soldi evidentemente li investite in pubblicità tv con personaggi famosi e "bomber" vari e ci siamo capiti.

La prossima volta come promesso conserverò tutto quanto e qualcuno in caso di problemi mi dovrà rimborsare o sostituire l'articolo acquistato eccome ! ci sono 2 anni di garanzia vorrei ricordare.

Da 40 anni uso Gillette. Ho provato Wilkinson più o meno con stesse caratteristiche dichiarate.
Nettamente meglio Wilkinson come risultsyo di rasatura e di irritazione.
Inoltre posso usarle per maggior numero di rasature. Non chiedetemi il perchè.
Vi consiglio di provarealmeno una volta Wilkinson. Vedrete da voi.

Just purchased Gillette labs razor for the first time(and the last) firstly it was very expensive £19 with one blade I thought it must be good being so expensive (wrong) the first time I used it took 3 times longer to complete a shave needed to go over and over areas to get a close shave and it’s virtually impossible to get a close shave under your nose without cutting yourself very poor experience

Ik snap echt niets van deze reacties. Het opzetsstukje van de baardtrimmer van mijn man was kapot, de klantenservice doet er alles aan om mij een reserve te sturen (Kay, Liz) zijn echt top en doen zeer hun best. Ik ben tevreden als klant van Gillette!

A 79 anni, barba dura e pelle delicata, posso dire uso prodotti Gillette da sempre, da qualche mese non trovo più il ricambio di lamette GILLETTE SENSOR EXCELL scorrevoli ed efficaci, comode per raggiungere i posti difficili sotto il naso o sulle pieghe del mento. Costretto ho cambiato acquistando GILLETTE MACH3 (made in China) che promette "rasatura classica e scorrevole" ogni ricambio, con tre lame, dovrebbe durare un mese. Semplicemente VERGOGNOSO, già dalla prima rasatura la barba non viene tagliata ma quasi strappata, senza una regolare aspersione della crema dal viso, cosa che avveniva regolarmente con le precedenti lame che consentivano una rasatura rapida efficace e piacevole. La strategia di ritirare le vecchie lame per costringere il cliente a cambiare è del tutto fallimentare e autolesiva. Sono alla ricerca di una soluzione diversa a GILLETTE.

The gillette razors are absolutely rubbish quality.
AVIDE AVOID AT ANY COSTS!!

I have used Gillette razors for decades and have always found them to be very good in the past. However, my razor finally died and I purchased the Gillette Fusion 5 razor pack with 10 refill blades in June 2025. I noticed the colour of the blades was different. On trying them, they felt blunt, I had to go over the growth a number of times changing direction each time. I tried some of my other blades I still had left and they felt a lot sharper and shaved a lot cleaner and lasted longer. After finishing off my old stock, I perservered with the new ones and found I was having to change blades at least weekly - less than 7 shaves a blade. I feel the quality is at least as bad as the Temu knock offs I tried once but I figure if this is the new Gillette quality, then I might as well buy from Temu at 25% of the cost. Very disappointed

Id give a zero on my heated razor they need reporting to Trading Standards for selling these as they only last 12 months this is my second one they are not fit for purpose.Ok £124.00 but that's not the point they should last a lot longer than 12 months,my advise dont buy I feel I have been conned.
