The shave is pretty close and the blades are just as durable as the competition. The monthly plan was difficult to cancel. The quality of the razor handle is poor. I dropped mine on the floor and it broke into two pieces. What do I do with all the blades they sent me?
Dubious pricing
Dubious pricing, bait and switch style. What I ordered and the price advertised is not what I was charged. They will not fix it.

I’ve been a DSC loyalist for almost 6 years, I never considered any other brand. They recommend you change blade every week, and they were still sharp over a week later. My girlfriend started using them with the same feedback.
I always kept a large stock because they lasted so long. So when eventually I made it to the new razor design, they have changed so much for the worse.
Where once you needed to change blades after weeks, you’ll probably find you’ll need two blades per shave. Not only that, you’ll find yourself covered in orange bits from the protective strip disintegrating.
Where once I would have told everyone to sign up, now I would suggest you look elsewhere.

I purchased the latest 6 blade razor with handle. I can not believe all the tugging and pulling I had to do to shave. I was in complete pain. I never had that experience with the heritage series from them and now I can't get a handle for all the blades I have from the heritage series. Why change something if there is nothing wrong with the way it was?

These razors have changed
These razors have changed. I shave my head every other day. I used to love Dollar Shave Club razors. They were slick, cut thru stubble easily, no razor burn. Now it's the complete opposite. STUBBLE PULLS, misses large areas of stubble, takes longer to shave, have to go over areas several times, sometimes leaves razor burn, other times not. Blades do not last as long, used to get 30 shaves per razor, m9w the first shave is already bad. Gonna look for another razor

Your blades are trash! I’ve tried several different blades and they don’t work. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I have been a customer of dollar shave club for five years or more. Likely 10 years. I have watched the quality of the razors and product drop significantly. I write this review as a person who never takes the time to write a review… That should tell you something. I have been utterly disappointed with the quality of the product that I have received. Yes I will give them credit for the ease of ordering and the interface as to which you can receive items quickly. That being said, my major problem is with the quality of their razors. I have watched that quality decline to the point that I will never order another razor from them again. I have received four packs Where I’ve had to throw away one if not two razors immediately because they are unusable because they are so dull. Anecdotal evidence would also lead to an opinion that they intentionally design products that quickly fail, for example, the mechanism that holds the razor in place fails quickly to require you to use another blade. It does not surprise me that there is no way to leave public feedback on their website because their product has declined so much. If you can’t tell, I am no longer a customer after 5+ years. To be honest, I let it go too far…I recommend you take my advice and shop elsewhere.

Almost impossible to cancel a subscription correctly, the first time. They keep shipping stuff and while it’s processing, they say they can’t cancel it. I will never order from them again and recommend no one ever ordered from them.

I got a portion of what I ordered. They had the beard trimmer as part of a package deal with razors, a handle and a few other throw ins. They did not send the trimmer with everything else and their solution was to refund me a portion of the cost rather than send me the trimmers. No option, just partial refund and see ya. Be careful when ordering. Also, the razors are not as sharp as I remember and takes me longer to shave.

They have a stupid robot answering questions which is really inconvenient seeing it doesn’t answer anything. There’s no number to call to talk to a real person to resolve this issue. I think they’re doing this on purpose just in hopes people will stop trying to cancel a subscription and keep paying. I would not recommend this company. Your better off going to a local store and just buying blades there.

Great customer service
Great customer service. I had ordered some blades that were different than I usually use. I did not realize these blades required a specific handle. The handle I had would not work. I sent an email asking if I could get a free handle...they sent 2 handles for free!
The razers are not good at all
The razers are not good at all, and I was having problems with skin irritation until I changed brands. Ultimately, this is what you expect: a dollar shave is never going to be good.

Their idiocy is probably why they think making fun of gluten allergies is funny. So my BS meter is calling BS on this company. Jokes like this are what get people seriously sick. Oh and anaphylactic shock can cause death you idiots. That’s also a result of gluten allergies for some people. But it’s no shock that this company is failing. Very inhuman company.
I used Harry’s and it was really good
I used Harry’s and it was really good. I made mistake thinking it was DSC when I was buying more razors. So I got home and discovered it was DSC and said to myself oh well I always wanted to try them anyway. When shaving I thought it was an old razor but it was not, it was a new razor. Every new razor I used I had to go over the same spot 3 or 4 times to shave it clean shaven or as close as they can. Harry’s was one swipe and clean shaven. Don’t buy DSC as you can see not many or any good reviews.

My order was processed on December 29th and I still haven't received my order! Since then I've requested another shipment and haven't received that one either!
The only response I get is that someone will get back to me!!!
Totally unsatisfied as a customer for over 3 years!!

The worst experience I've ever had with…
The worst experience I've ever had with a delivered product. I waited more than 2 weeks for the delivery, it never came. I was given all kinds of excuses like there's no apartment no. on the order, it's a one family house! During that time they went and manipulated my account to automatic order option. Why would I do that, I never received the first order!?Thankfully I paid with PayPal who got my refund. I contacted the FTC, there's an aggressive predatory agenda with this company, don't do business with them.
Harry's Original Razor - Mechanism holding blade brakes too easily
I purchased Harry's Original Razor Handle for Men about 4 months ago. Initially it worked ok and I received a decent shave while using it,
Today I needed to change the blade. When I tried to replace the blade, the mechanism that holds the blade in place on the handle would not attach and lock into place. Basically the handle (and replacement blades for that matter) was useless at that point.
Not sure if I just got a dud but I didn't take the risk and went to purchase a different brand of razor.
