I thought that my trial of this site…
I thought that my trial of this site was cancelled. Supposedly it wasn't according to the agent that messaged me. It would be nice to get an reminder saying your trial ends on a certain date. Last year was a crazy year with the health of my mom and taking care of her. She was a bit more important than trying to remember things.

We do our best to accommodate our customers' refund requests, even when they go past the 30-day refund window. We see that your subscription was entered into on 7/4/2025 and it was used as recently as 6/9/2026. When you sign up, we display the charge that will take place in 7 days. We're sorry to hear that your mother was ill, and we would have gladly worked with you had you reached out sooner. You should have also received an email receipt at the time of the charge. Your staff are excellent - they helped me get started again. I renewed my membership -- I had been ill and had not been able to get to genealogy. But am on the mend.

Understanding.
On my prior renewal, I was told that if I cancelled auto renewal, the price would go up on the next renewal, so I kept it on. Then when it renewed automatically this time at twice the rice I was not happy. I was graciously given anther year at the previous price and auto renewal was cancelled for me. I will, therefore, over the next year assess whether your service is worth the increase in cost and renew or not accordingly.
