FlipKey is amazing! It allows me to make deposits on places I want to rent and gives me plenty of time to pay off the remaining balance. I highly recommend FlipKey for anyone trying to make accommodations while on a budget.

We haven't taken our trip yet and this is my first time using flipkey but I am very happy with the service that I have received. I booked my trip on short notice (about 5 weeks in advance). I paid the initial deposit of $303 and the second half was due in 2 days. My bank closed for the 4th of July and did not post my deposits so I was unable to pay my second half on time. I got an email saying they were keeping my whole deposit. I was able to contact customer service and the property owner on the 4th of July to explain my situation. They were both extremely helpful and understanding. I was given 3 more days to pay the full amount and then they would refund the initial $303.

The apartment was free for all August, but a real condition, after payment, was three days all ready occupied...

Fantastic home with fantastic people to deal with. We went up to Lake Gregory and stayed at a beautiful view home over the lake for our elopement. Once back home we realized I left our marriage certificate on top of the fridge. I called and Anthony sent someone to the house and the certificate had fallen behind the fridge. They retrieved and are sending to us. Thank you everyone at Flipkey for making our stay warm.

This company is a joke!!! I had family coming in 7 1/2 hours away from Illinois for July 4 and yesterday I received an email that the booking was cancelled..... and to much surprise 🙄 there are NO other houses available.... I will make sure every person I know knows that this company is HORRIBLE! I am extremely frustrated and now my family and I have no place to stay. Thanks a lot for ruining the only vacation we were going to have this year 👍🏻

Flipkey was very easy to use and had many wonderful home selections for the San Antonio area. We booked and payed for BR26929833. The house was perfect for my family and everything was just as advertised. We stayed for a week and loved the screened in porch (with air) and the deer visiting in the backyard. Perfect is not a word I use very often but this home was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone of us.
Paying was easy and done simply. The entire Flipkey experience was easy and great. Flipkey will be used for my next vacation.

Booked a condo and received a call week and half later and only two weeks from trip and said condo is over booked and you didn’t pay enough and wouldn’t offer anything equivalent or work with you just wanted to let you know they are canceling your booked and paid for condo.

It's a convenient site. I like the way it works..... however. ... the cut that Flip Key takes is very excessive!!! And you don't know how great the extra fee is until you go to reserve a place. It feels a bit deceptive and not being upfront before you spend all your time searching.

Highly dissatisfied with hidden booking fee - not mentioned anywhere on the website, very hidden under a small un-labeled grey icon. Host seems nice. Looking forward to a new experience.

Quick and easy! No hassles trying to do what I needed to do!

I have used FlipKey several times over the last 4 or 5 years and can usually find a decent place at a fair price. It can be a little hard to find what you want because it doesn't always recognize your choices- such as a cabin or bungalow and I was still getting apartments in the city. During my last choice I already knew where I wanted to stay because I had stayed there before, but it doesn't allow you to just enter the address so I had to search for it again. Fortunately I recognized the place having stayed there twice before. Then I got a notice stating the owner wanted to change the price and give me a discount- I immediately accepted it and it never recognized that click so I had to contact the owner and they had to do it again, but this time it wasn't quite as much of a discount so I lost some money there. Still haven't figured out how to review places I've stayed at on FlipKey... I know how to do it on Airbnb.

it was a most painful experience and as I understand you will impose a fine or charge on the owners who rented there property to family after I had booked in good faith but keep that to yourselves when I am the one who has had all the stress and problems. It is the first and very much the last time I will use holiday lettings

Was a easy booking and the owner responded within 30 minutes to answer a few of my questions! Definitely would not hesitate to use again in the future!

I have made a future booking for June. The process of search and booking very easy and smooth. Only the payment policy was complicated but customer attention explained and all sorted out straight away.
Recommended.
