We were planning a trip which involved going to the UK first to do some research for a few days then onto the USA for a long stretch of research. I approached Filght Centre South Africa and outlined what it was we wanted to do. I communicated with then via email. Well, their assistance has been exceptional. The consultant in question is Nastassja Tilling and it appears that she is situated in KZN (Hillcrest).

Her level of engagement was exemplary, and she was the one who called me and also dealt with me by email. In terms of communication she is alert, understands what is being requested of her and she also has a sense of humor. There is no doubt to my mind that she is an asset to your company. She asked for some specific passport details so she could put a hold on our booking as she indicated that there were limited places available for what we were looking at. She also made intelligent suggestions, and I think that she went above and beyond the level of service which is usually provided by travel companies. We accepted the quote and she arranged for us to go and pay for our tickets at one of their local branches. I cannot recommend this service enough; it was a wonderful and communicative experience which is often lacking in our modern world.

Please ask for Arno Van Dyk, located at the Paarl branch of Flight Centre. Booking our holiday has been such a pleasant experience. From beginning to end he was keeping me up to date and followed my requests to the T. Best travel agent I have come across in decades of travelling.

My husband and I had a fantastic MSC cruise, but unfortunately our experience with Martin Stroebel at Flight Centre (Constantia Village) was really disappointing.

Everything was great and very friendly before booking (in person). Once we went ahead, though, communication became difficult and there was limited support.

We were advised to make the booking in my maiden name (as I already had an MSC profile) and to change it afterwards. This ended up causing issues that we struggled to get help with. We were then told to deal with the MSC call centre directly, who in turn advised that they could only assist the booking agent since the booking was made through Flight Centre.

We followed up with Martin regarding boarding times, a name change, and travel insurance, as we have pre-existing medical conditions. These were fairly standard and reasonable questions, but responses were very slow and the tone of communication suddenly became abrupt and defensive.

Instead of helping us resolve the issues, Martin threatened to cancel our booking (which I have WhatsApp messages confirming) because of my follow-ups. This was extremely disappointing, especially as the whole reason we booked through Flight Centre was to avoid this kind of stress.

The cruise itself was really great, but the lack of post-booking support took away from the overall experience. I eventually contacted Pentravel, who happily assisted with my questions.

Based on this experience, we wouldn’t rush to use Flight Centre again. Would recommend contacting Pentravel for better customer service.

We recently had the pleasure of dealing with Farghaana from flight centre Cavendish. She was friendly and provided a very professional service, helping us plan our recent trip with very short notice.
Highly recommend her to anyone planning their next holiday.

Mornay Carstens at the Cavendish, Cape Town office, is the most helpful agent. He provides documentation, advice, seat bookings and also assists with refund collections etc. This is WAY BEYOND his call of duty. He should be paid monthly bonusses!! He is the reason I continually make use of Flight Centre. His help to 70+ year old techno challenged travelers is astounding.

I don't fly often but when I do it's always flight centre. Prices are very competitive. Always find staff helpful and friendly. I would recommend Omni Square as the place to go. Precious helped me and she was fabulous.
