I found them for frame replacement
I found them for frame replacement. I mailed them in and checked on the status after 4 weeks. Was not able to contact by phone and they never responded to emails or chat! Finally after 8 weeks I was able to have someone answer the phone! I was told that they lost one of my lenses and gave me an option to choose different frames and lenses! I'm now into 3 months later! My frames have been delaminating and crumbling apart as they are apparently made from the plastic or plant based beads you see on TV. I emailed with a picture about it and eventually heard back and they want to send them back to manufacturer! Bearing in mind these are my PRIMARY pair of eyeglasses! I emailed yet again as the frames are getting worse and will probably break at the bridge! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! Buyer beware! I have not gotten a response!!!
Disorganized…
i ordered and returned 3 pairs of eyeglasses from this company. Getting help with the refund process was very frustrating and difficult. The help via email was not helpful. The glasses were all very nice but not right for me.

Unfortunately there wasn't a zero review. I've bought glasses from this company for years. Their customer service used to be wonderful. Now they just blow you off. If you already purchased glasses or frames, any defects aren't their problem. If a frame has a defect and you send it back, they charge a restocking fee. If you email customer service, GOOD LUCK! They will read the first two lines of your email then do what they want.
If you ask for a repair or new frames (and I offered to pay for it!) they tell you to take it to a local eyeglass store. I've spent over $2000 on YOUR glasses. WHY would another store want to fix YOUR problem?
Eyeglasses.com asked me for information on this review. Which shows how out of touch they are. I have everything documented. They just need to contact me.
This is an agency
This is an agency, not a glasses company.
They link frame suppliers with lenses manufacturers.
It is a mish-mash of agents, suppliers and labs. Eyeglasses.com must have deals in place with all these suppliers and try to 'organise' them together.
Poorly.
That's why they never know whether any frame on display is in stock. They cannot even call the suppliers to check, they told me. The only way to know is to complete the order and then they'll find out.
Also true is they are very flimsy on customer service responses. The ladies at the other end appear to be a team of put-ups with no idea what the customer needs. They claim to have opticians but when I requested Optical Centre raising, they never even asked me to measure where I would like it moved to.
Needless to say, the lenses centres that arrived were not raised.
Also, I purchased 1.74 lenses, they came as 1.67. When I queried this, they sent me the 'private order' form they had 'to prove it' with a supply manufacturer they used.
Made no difference, as I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and know what 1.74 looks like. Also, smacked of poor service again by sending this to me.
And finally, I only purchased from this company because of the promise of Essilor lenses. What they actually were, I do not know, but they were trash and had terrible distortion. Needless to say, on the order form they had sent me, there was no mention of Essilor.
My summary is, this is a very poor company. A mish-mash of agencies and suppliers put together.
You are paying way too much for way too little and it is definitely not worth it.
lost my lens replacement shipment - refuses to give proof
I mailed in 2 frames for lens replacement, together worth $500. I got notification when the company received them and began processing them but then had to reach out approx 5 weeks later for an update. I was told two different times over a week apart that my completed order would ship the next day and finally I received a call with the bad news that the shipment was lost by the carrier. EXCEPT, that they refused to give me any shipping details except that it was a shipment *between facilities* and that UPS lost it. I filed a BBB complaint and they tried to tell me that they normally can't issue a refund (for the lens replacement service) in cases where the shipment is lost in transit, but in my case were willing to make an exception. I received my refund in full, and yet they have continued to refuse to account for how $500 worth of my own personal property was actually "lost" -- even through a BBB complaint, they will not give me a tracking number that proves my shipment was actually lost. I'm a small business owner and no client of mine would EVER accept that their personal property was lost in shipping if I couldn't procure a tracking number as proof. Keep the contact info for the Federal Trade Commission and the Connecticut Attorney General handy.

Super great experience from start to finish. Sent in my frames, came back very fast. The lenses are perfect, high quality, the craftsmanship is excellent.

Service is terrible
Service is bad. I would rate lower if I could. I am over a month in getting my glasses I purchased on 4/1. The Cust service phone number is a joke. It is pathetic as no one ever answers. If you wait in the queue you are dropped on your turn as there is no mailbox. No follow up or explanation. Email almost as bad, depends if you think a week is a reasonable response time.
Lenses are fine. But they ruined my frames.
I sent three identical Kacie frames in to have new lenses put in. They came back and the lenses are fine. But on all three pair the earpieces were stretched waaay too wide. I have a small head and these glasses fit perfectly when I sent them in. That's why I wanted new lenses, not to buy new glasses. I don't know what fat head these were put on but they are now way too big, the hinges look like they are bent out and there is no way I am going to be able to adjust them to fit me properly like they were before I sent them in. Sorry, but I am never using eyeglasses.com for replacement lenses ever again. I would rather pay more and not have three pairs of eyeglasses damaged to the point of unwearability. They don't respond to complaints either.
Amazingly quick delivery of new glasses
I decided to try this online site for replacement of lenses in old glasses frames. I recently had a cataract operation, and I needed new prescription. I placed an order for two pair of replacement lenses. Process was very easy - just input the prescription online, email it to them or include it in your package. They provide printable label to send frames free thru UPS. Placed order and sent old frames April 21. Got email confirmations of their receipt of order and frames. Got UPS delivery of one set of new glasses on April 28 and the other on April 29 - and this quick delivery was in spite of these being unique (Transitions, one frame rimless, enhanced scratch resistance and high index). They also returned the old lenses in an envelope with the delivery. Glasses are great and price was about 35% less than "discount" price quoted by my optician for identical lenses.
Incredibly disappointing customer service
Honestly, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had ordering something online. The first woman I spoke to on the customer service team was helpful, I informed them that I was leaving LA on Thursday, and they assured that their PayPal guru had received my payment, and that the glasses would arrive by Wednesday. I received 0 tracking information. I then called on Wednesday morning to gain tracking information, and a different member of the customer service team told me my payment hadn’t been received, and once it had they would ship it out, although on my statement it clearly says I have sent over $340 to Tryiton Eyewear LLC. When trying to explain the situation to the customer service team, the woman was rude, didn’t let me explain, spoke over me, told me she wasn’t going to argue about it, and didn’t resolve any issue. Such disappointing customer service.

My lenses were completely incorrect
My lenses were completely incorrect. I called customer service and she said it may be off somewhat depending on if you move the frame up or down. I explained that the entire lens was a magnifying glass and I could not see no matter how i moved the lenses.
The rep would not budge, insisted it was my fault and I can only have a redo of the lens. Not a complete refund. I will never order from this company again.
Very bad company and the customer care…
Very bad website and the customer care is not responding quickly also the confirmation email wasn’t sent after placing the order as if I didn’t place it even they have withdrawn the money from the credit card. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I ordered two frames only from more than two weeks and I still didn’t receive them nor can I track them.

Super long delivery and poor customer experience
We paid the extra $9 for special handling/expedited service and still had to wait 3 weeks for delivery. We also did not receive the clip-ons that were supposed to come with the frames. When we tried to contact customer servie, the chat doesn't work and when you call...you wait on hold forever only to get an automated voice recording telling you to email them for help.
Zero stars if I could
I did a bunch of research and decided on Eyeglasses.com due to the selection. I place an order and 1 frame showed up almost immediately. However, the second frame never showed up and it was nearly impossible to get a response. Finally they said the frame isn't available anymore, despite the fact that it showed in stock and cancelled my order. So, I placed a second order, same thing. I ended up getting the frames that they said were out of stock, in fairly short order. However, it's now been months and I'm still waiting on the second frame and can't get customer service to response. This company is terrible. Don't believe the reviews on their website and go somewhere else.
Worst online experience
Avoid eyeglasses.com. There are so many options for buying glasses that can deliver quality and service at all price points. There is no need to shop here.
Update: Now I'm put on hold after being told I'm number 2 in line and several minutes later I'm told they cannot answer my call and to send an email. I've sent many emails that are not answered. This is a scam.

I ordered glasses here that I had tried on in person elsewhere. I knew the glasses fit and would be centered on my eyes correctly. I thought I'd order because I had the coupon code and have ordered glasses online via other sites without issue.
I received my glasses and was excited to open them. I was so disappointed when I put them on and discovered the prescription was so wrong I could not see through them at all. I moved them around and tried to see if I had given incorrect information, but no matter where I looked through the lenses I couldn't see. I had entered the prescription correctly and my other glasses from a different online shop are fine.
I looked at the paperwork and the email they had listed to contact was a non-monitored email address. I found the customer service email and emailed there. I heard nothing back. I called and was given a number of reasons I couldn't see through the lenses. All of which I had already covered. I was finally told I could send them back for them to check the lenses. I was given no guidance how to do this, but found in my account a link to make a ups label so I did that and sent a follow-up email and put a note on the label.
I tracked the shipping. It arrived and I heard nothing from the company. I gave it days. I've tried the chat box on the site and that just sends them another email.
I have no idea what is going on with the glasses and an starting the wonder if I'm just out of luck.
Save yourself a lot of time and money and order your glasses elsewhere.
Excellent online for high end progressive Trivex lenses
I recently ordered progressive Trivex lenses at eyeglasses.com on one of my high end Cartiers frames and had excellent results. Their pricing is very reasonable. Trivex is a new material that is a stronger, more resistant, clearer alternative to standard polycarbonate, which is one of the best materials for prescription glasses. There were few cons, Trivex is a new material, so it can be hard to find among glasses retailers. If you want Trivex, you may have to purchase it online. This means you won't get a chance to test or feel the material beforehand. I was fortunate to end up having satisfactory outcome. In another pair of frame, where I had ordered 1.74 index glasses, where I was not happy , they replaced without any extra charge with Trivex lenses. Lack of communication, very slow
It has been over a month since I ordered my glasses. There has been very little communication. When I emailed 3 weeks ago to find out the status, I was told my glasses would be shipped the following day. I still have not received them, and I have not received any status updates despite my multiple attempts to contact them. Calling the number listed on the website tells you that you are first in line, puts you on hold for 4 minutes, and then sends you to voicemail to leave a message. Using the chat function on the website does get a response, but it remains to be seen if I will get any sort of update on the status of my glasses or if I will even receive them.
Update: I believe that the response was meant for a different review. I am not Mr. Smith, and my lenses were not for a complicated prescription. I also have not received my glasses, was not doing a return, and was not refunded. In regard to communication, the majority of communications I have received were just marketing emails. I placed my order on Nov. 25. I emailed on Dec 4 to ask if there was an anticipated ship date. On Dec. 8, I received an email that my glasses were expected to ship the following day. On Dec. 16, I had not heard anything, so I sent a follow up email. On Dec. 22, I had heard no response, so I tried calling and was sent to voicemail after waiting for 4 minutes on hold, and told to send an email. I sent another email and did not hear back. The following week I tried calling again, and left a voicemail. I also tried the chat function on the website and finally got a hold of someone, who told me that they would have the lab call me back that day. They also provided me an alternate number since the 1-800 number sends you to voicemail. When I didn't hear back from the lab, I called the alternate number and was finally connected to someone who looked into it. I finally received an email that my glasses were shipped, approximately 6 weeks after I placed my order. When I checked my credit card statement, I also noticed that I was charged an additional amount after my initial order, which was the discount I had received from a promotion when I placed my order. I would strongly advise people check their statements after their purchases to make sure that they are not charged extra.
