Very well-furnished and clean gym. It has all the necessary machines and free weights needed for a proper training. Besides, staff is always very kind and welcoming :)

Energie Fitness is so friendly and helpful. I love it and am very happy with all of it. There is lots of equipment as well as a pool, sauna and steam room. I have never been to a gym where the staff not only say hello when you arrive and goodbye when you leave, but actually know your name. I cannot recommend it highly enough

Fantastic gym! The space is clean, well-organized, and never feels overcrowded, even during peak hours. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and there’s a great variety—whether you’re into strength training, cardio, or functional workouts, everything you need is there.
What really stands out is the atmosphere. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help if you have questions or need guidance. The trainers are knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping you improve, no matter your fitness level.
I also appreciate the overall vibe—motivating but not intimidating. It’s a place where both beginners and experienced gym-goers can feel comfortable and focused on their goals.
Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a clean, professional, and welcoming place to train!

I’ve been a member of Energie Fitness Kilburn, and while there are some positives, I feel there is significant room for improvement.

Firstly, I want to acknowledge that some staff members are excellent friendly, supportive, and genuinely committed to helping members. They are a real strength of this gym and, in my opinion, deserve better working conditions.

However, the overall experience needs improvement in several areas:

What could be improved:

Management approachability: One of the owners is not very approachable, making it difficult for members to raise concerns or feel heard. A more open and welcoming attitude would make a big difference.

Cleanliness and maintenance: The gym often feels poorly maintained. Walls are dusty, and there are frequent issues, such as water on the floor due to broken pipes. This creates both hygiene and safety concerns.

Air conditioning: It is often broken, making the environment uncomfortable, especially during busy times.

Classes and atmosphere: The quality of classes needs improvement. The music is extremely loud and not always appropriate for a fitness environment it can feel overwhelming rather than motivating.

Lighting and environment: The gym feels quite dark, which affects the overall atmosphere. A brighter, more welcoming space would improve the experience.

Changing rooms: While the changing rooms are new, the materials used feel low quality and could have been finished to a higher standard.

What the gym does well:

Some staff members are truly dedicated and supportive.

There is potential in the space and layout.

Investment has been made (e.g., new changing rooms), showing willingness to improve.

Final thoughts:

Energie Fitness Kilburn has a lot of potential, but it currently feels like it is not being fully realised. With better maintenance, higher-quality classes, greater attention to cleanliness, and stronger leadership engagement, this gym could become a much better place for its members.

At this moment, I can only give 3 stars as the place needs improvement.

I am enjoying the gym, it’s clean and tidy with a good range of machines and equipment. The staff are very helpful.

This is a nice compact Gym with friendly staff and interesting regular classes if you take the membership for it.
They have utilized their space optimally and is very conveniently located in the residential area. The staff is very friendly too.

I wish I had read the reviews first before "signing up". I tried to cancel my membership after 2 days & have basically been refused due to "terms and conditions" and told I must give a 30-day notice.

On the site, it gives the option of a free trial period. When I explained I thought it was a free trial period, I was first told they didn't offer a free trial period when I tried to cancel.

So I proceeded to send a screenshot clearly showing that it offers a free trial period literally on the landing page once you click on the website and then all of a sudden the claim changed to "you didn't choose the free trial" and instead opted to join which made me subject to some 12-month commitment. So, so far we've gone from no free trial period to there is a free trial period but I didn't select it. Already, they're showing dishonesty and incompetence to the point I'm wondering if they're outsourcing their customer service.

I argued that it could've been an honest mistake, I barely spent up to an hour in the gym and then decided to cancel. Even if I mistakenly didn't click the free trial period, in principle, you'd expect grace since I cancelled almost instantly which is basically a free trial period.

I was looking for a local gym because I recently moved. The gym is very small, has extremely limited equipment, yet charges more money than gyms like the gym group, pure gym and other gyms with a huge range of equipment and which are more spacious and actually have professionally dedicated changing spaces, lockers and showers for men and women. Also, from reading reviews, it seems like they peddle this "we've ordered new equipment" line to quite a few people to try and keep them on as we're now half way through March and I'm seeing reviews claiming they were told this months ago. The seats on the cycling are pretty much broken, same with the seat on the chest press machine. I only tried 4 machines/equipment so I don't know what else works or doesn't. The ones I tried did "feel" quality in terms of performance but as I said, they weren't functioning at 100% which also seems to be a reoccuring theme from the reviews that I've read.

I explained I wanted to cancel my membership because the environment isn't for me, it's small/intimate, humid and lacks the equipment that I use especially because I have a bad back so instead of a standard squat rack, I use a hack squat, they didn't have a weighted calf machine, the chest press machine is limited in weight and I push heavier than it's limits. Cheaper commercial guys offer equipment with higher range limits.

The only responses that I've constantly received is "you agreed to the terms and conditions" which almost nobody reads & "we require a 30-day notice" and I genuinely just wanted to check if the gym was a fit. I even thought maybe in the future I'd reconsider it if things improve but that's obviously out of the window.

From the communication via email, it's clear to see the gym is simply money hungry, they care very little about their reputation or customers from the looks of the reviews and from my own experience.

I also informed them that I cancelled the direct debit because I thought after explaining the situation the first time and requesting for my membership to be cancelled it would be an easy and smooth process which almost every business with good practices would've handled. Instead I was threatened with it being sent up to an "accounts" team. Keep in mind, I barely spent an hour in this gym before making up my mind that I don't want to proceed with a membership.

Honestly, I'd avoid this gym like the black plague, easily the worst customer service I've experienced in years by a landslide, it's not even close. It almost feels like a scam if I'm being honest.

Started énergie fitness in January having no confidence we now in march and I can honestly say best thing I have done In 2026 the gym is always clean equipment always neat & tidy when you walk in the doors you are greated so well by all the staff they are all there to offer support and help when needed can’t wait to continue my fitness journey here ❤️

I absolutely love this gym. The staff are always welcoming and happy to offer guidance and support whenever it’s needed, which makes the environment really comfortable for members at any stage of their fitness journey. The facility is consistently maintained to a very high standard and the cleanliness is always top-notch.

A special mention to Amani Allen, whose management really shows in how smoothly everything runs and how positive the atmosphere is. It’s clear a lot of care goes into the place. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start or continue their fitness journey. 💪😊

I did the two classes led by David, the circuits on Friday and the newly box-fit on Saturday and I enjoyed them both very much. David is a great addition to the Cricklewood gym and I highly recommend his classes.

I think the gym is really good, I think the equipment is good as well as ask the staff. And I love all the classes especially with abs blast and Terrys classes. He pushes me every week!

The gym is easy to navigate as a new gym goer and the guys on the desk are helpful if ur not sure of anything. Only issue I’ve had is there are a couple of treadmills where the incline doesn’t work and some machines where the pin for the weight is missing, taken out to use on another machine. It would be great to have this sorted. Apart from that it’s a perfect gym for me

I think a water station is needed and also an update to the changing rooms. Really love the actual gym though the equipment is great and is never too busy. Very friendly staff

Clean and friendly gym

I have been going to Energie Fitness in Tunstall for a few years and this is not my first review, with previous reviews being negative due to the poor management and treatment we were witnessing of staff and member.

However I felt I needed to update my review following the removal of the area manager as the gym has returned to being the place it was when I first joined with the staff no longer being treated appallingly which has bought the fun and happiness back that sadly dwindled over time, even with staff, we loved and who left returning.

I give a lot of credit to Elliott who is Fitness Manager, but is actually the only manager so acts more in the General Manager capacity. Elliott has been at the gym, through all the good and bad, starting as an apprentice and he really shines in this role. He knows the members, knows what we like and need and goes above and beyond to ensure all the little things that had fell out of sorts have been put back to how they were.

The gym is back to being a community, and I've never been in a gym that makes you feel so welcomed by staff and members. I miss when I don't go as I miss the laughs and chats that comes from the classes.

The staff are fantastic - they do an amazing job at making classes enjoyable and fun (don't tell them this though) and do it with a smile despite us moaning and winging throughout!

The gym has really turned itself around and is once again a place you want to be... the owner should be grateful for the Team that has achieved this as at one point I worried that the gym wouldn't survive with all the unhappiness that was being created by one person, that was allowed to remain in post despite numerous negitive reviews and safety concerns being highlighted and posted.

Well done to the Team for making this gym feel like a community again and somewhere you want to be! Elliott you are smashing it, and I'm really proud of you and how far you've come!

Great but tough class with Andy this morning at Metcon. Enjoying the classes at EFRH and am happy to see more early morning classes other than spin have been put on the timetable 😀

Good gym -i would have given 5 starts, except too many people scrolling on their phones whilst sitting on equipment for 20+ minutes - phones should be banned from inside the gym it's antisocial and some people can also secretly film the women which is unacceptable - I did 12 sets of 10 reps the other day while some Tw#t was sitting on the latpuldown scrolling on his phones for 30mins +
This is a frequent occurrence with I would say 80% of the gym users on their phones scrolling and texting.

BAN THE PHONES - NO ONE NEEDS A PHONE IN YHE GYM.
