From our first communication, to the day we adopted our big beautiful baby boy it was flawless. Dogs Trust Basildon have been & still are so helpful, informative & supportive. We live 2 hours away & they were very accommodating with our first meet of Trevor (Foggy at the time). They were very clear about his needs & behaviour & what we could expect. Every member of staff was polite & couldn’t be more helpful.
I have already recommended the Dogs Trust to people as we feel they are an exceptional rescue organisation & genuinely care about the Dogs best interest

Dogs Trust staff at the central office were extremely helpful over the phone and the staff at Salisbury Rehoming Centre are wonderful. The process of adopting a dog was very thorough and helpful - giving us confidence and support.

The staff at Dogs Trust Huyton were all lovely. I have taken Bear and Charlie and I am thrilled. They are perfect companions . I was given so much support and advice plus practical help such as food etc Dogs Trust made it a really straightforward process while making sure I was suitable for the dogs and they were suitable for me. I would recommend a visit if you are thinking about a new pet you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all they do for the dogs

Above All Expectations
After the loss of my last dog some time ago, I felt the time may be right to welcome another rescue, so completed the Dogs Trust online application process. A few days later I visited Dogs Trust Shrewsbury. At reception I was invited to view the dogs, that took me an hour or so! Before leaving, my application had been located, I was asked if I'd any favourites. My heart would respond 'all of them' but engaging brain, I mentioned two small breed terriers I'd studied. The following morning I received a call from the rehoming team, they'd matched me to one of their dogs - it was the favourite on my shortlist - luck or destiny? I was told a little of her background, also that she was very timid & didn't take well to being in kennels. A few days later I visited for a first meet, which went well, a second longer meeting also went well and we agreed I'd collect her (after a vet check-up) for a 1 week home trial. That went well and after a second vet check-up I adopted her a week later. As I write this review, she's snoozing on the sofa, still timid, with a few issues but nothing that can't be resolved.
OK that's my story, what about Dogs Trust Shrewsbury? The Dogs Trust website is full of very useful information, I spent a long time there before completing the adoption form. The location of the 'Rehoming Centre' - Dogs Trust Shrewsbury is simply stunning, with plenty of space and an abundance of facilities. Everyone who worked there has the right blend of knowledge, compassion and professionalism, always putting the dogs health & wellbeing first. In addition, I've received a wealth of material to support the adoption online and received follow-up calls. They very strongly emphasise that if things are going wrong, they are there to help on an ongoing basis, you're never on your own or 'cast adrift' with problems. As you can probably tell I'm immensely impressed with Dogs Trust as an organisation and Dogs Trust Shrewsbury in particular, the level of support I've received has been above all expectations!

Very dedicated team of volunteers and workers from Dogs Trust Basildon. They showed nothing but compassion and love for the dogs waiting for their forever homes. I have recently adopted a dog from them and they have been excellent before, during and after the adoption process. Lovely experience with Dogs Trust.
Dogs Trust was amazing from the start. First visit was a meet and greet/house and garden inspection. Sophie explained the procedure from start to finish. Beth brought Alf back again after his final vets visit which was to have his booster and get checked out for anything which could have been ongoing. Sophie and Beth, both from Dogs Trust were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Saying any problems to ring them and made sure we knew that we weren’t on our own which is reassuring. They rang two days later to check that everything was ok, and it was. Dogs Trust seem very caring and concerned about the animals brought in to them and want the very best homes for them.

Great Staff, Helpful and Supportive!
My wife and I found Frankie by coincidence, we wanted a Daschund called Frankie so it was like the stars aligned.
We spent about two weeks getting to know him, his past and what he'd need. All questions were answered, we were taught how Frankie finds comfort, his triggers and about his love of playing ball (really loves it).
Once we took him home we have follow up appointments to guide us through with him and have a discount on the vets (one time use), lifetime behaviourial support and the cutest little man with warts and all.
Very happy with Dogs Trust Uxbridge and their help.

from day 1 the support has been great.all staff have been very helpful.we had to wait a bit before the adoption could happen,mainly because olive had an ear infection which the vet sorted out with treatment over several weeks.now shes ours and is getting on ok.special thanks to eve who has been so helpful.
