They lost the Fedex package containing all my paperwork, and even though they agreed that they signed for the package, they took zero responsibility in finding it. The staff was rude and hung up on me twice.

The company I work for used to use Computershare to handle our employee stock purchase plan. When they changed to a different brokerage company, mine stayed at Computershare due to it being a joint tenant account. Computershare removed my access to my account on their website without any notification. Email and password recovery did nothing. The chatbot said I needed to sign in. The computer phone bot hung up on me when I told it what company I worked for. Finally got someone on the line to tell me I needed to create a new account. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Impossible to communicate with a live person. If you log onto the website to chat with a representative, the chatbox opens and shuts down without any messages being sent. There are differences in fees based on where you get your information from – the automated customer service lines or the website. Computershare is by far the most difficult company I've had to deal with for even the most basic transactions. I've dealt with them for a few years and have finally transferred all of my holdings away from this company.

I am trying to access my shares. They sent a US cheque which is bloody useless in the UK. I have now spent three or four months trying to get paid in a different way. Their charges are utterly exorbitant and it is impossible to speak to a human via their online bot. Terrible terrible company.

Trying to sell shares in this system is ridiculously archaic. Once you have sold the shares online, there is no confirmation message to tell me that the sale has been completed, the price obtained, fees etc - just an email with a bare transaction number. Even in the app transaction records itself, there is no record. Then you have to fill out a paper form and send off the share certificate - or they threatend that they will reverse the sale and charge you. The paper form requires you to fill out how many shares you sold - so if you did not note this down yourself you can’t complete the form correctly - given their reputation I expect they will now reject the transaction completely. Also, there transaction fees are very expensive - about ten times what modern online brokers charge - but this is hardly surprising given all the people they must employ to open envelopes,shuffle pieces of paper around and lick stamps. I am going to sell all my investments with them and move to another more modern broker.

Absolutely sucks. Piss poor customer service
- or should I say nonexistent. The word “computer” in its title definitely evokes all the capabilities of a Commodore VIC-20.
Company is antiquated and sadly appears to be quite content with its technical failings.
Getting holdings out of there can be a giant pain - but well worth it in the long run.

I deal with Computershare and MUFG, Computershare i beyond frustrating, software, peoples, systems, processes, just dreadful

This is one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The automated system doesn’t recognise what you are asking.The quality of the line is terrible took 3 days to get through to a human.
Then couldn’t hear them as the line was so bad. They said they would transfer me to somebody else.I was transferred to an answerphone to leave a msg. I await their reply however I don’t believe they will get back to me. My advice to anyone with shares in Computashare is get them transferred to Hargreaves Lansdown or other reputable company who actually have customer service.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with.

I have reached the point where I will no longer invest in US-listed companies if they are managed by this company. If you live in Australia, my advice is simple: avoid any stocks administered by them unless you are prepared for an unnecessarily stressful and frustrating experience.

I sold my Sezzle shares after they were delisted from the ASX. Nearly seven months later, I am still waiting to receive the proceeds of the sale.

Getting through to someone is extremely difficult, and when you finally do, you are met with apology after apology and promise after promise—none of which are ever followed through. I was assured almost three months ago that the funds would be wired to my bank account within 30 days. To this day, nothing has happened, and the portal still shows the cheque as uncashed with no indication that a wire transfer has even been initiated.

A company entrusted with people's investments should be held to a far higher standard. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through is unacceptable. I have never encountered a company that has made it so difficult to receive money that is rightfully mine.

An absolutely disgraceful experience that I would not wish on anyone.

Dealing with this company has been a nightmare from the start I was given stocks when I was a kid from my grandmother and I have been trying to get those stops to the point where I'm capable of utilizing the funds for the last 2 years without any success they also asked me for roughly $100 of the payments to be able to transfer these stocks into usable because back then when I received them they were on paper. All in all I have yet to have a good experience with this company and they continue to hold my money

Sent them share certificates and signed form asking them to sell and send a cheque to my account. They deny all knowledge of shares or having received letter on 9 April 2026. Logging on to their site is impossible. Any reply denies receipt. What is Board of Trade doing about this company?

TODAY I MANAGED TO GET A FANTASTIC PERSON BY THE NAME OF BEVERLY WHO WAS FABULOUS. SHE FIXED MY PROBLEM AND I'M EXTREMELY GREATFUL. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS FIXED AND WAS GETTING NO WHERE. I HAD A MAN YESTERDAY THAT WAS SO SO RUDE YESTERDAY. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT ONE MORE CHANCE AND MANAGED TO GET THE PROBLEM SOLVED AND I'M VERY GRATEFUL.

If you aren't able to do what you need online because of some snag or another, the phone AI will be of no use. Getting through the phone AI to a rep is a long process. When you get there, you can stay on hold or they can call you back. When they call you back, it immediately puts you on indefinite hold music.

This company is trying to cut every corner possible. You DO NOT want to deal with them in any shape or form.

My late father-in-law held shares for which Computershare were registrar, Selling the shares required the signatures of all three executors, which is to be expected. However, Computershare declined to apply the bank mandate instructions given by the executors for the share sale to the payment of any subsequent dividends received, and insisted that the executors provide new signed instructions for such payments. Whilst I appreciate this is a regulatory requirement, it would have been helpful if the original forms covered both the sale of shares and the payment of any subsequent dividends in one go. My experience with Computershare compared unfavourably with Equiniti's equivalent process, which was far more streamlined with everything being carried out on the basis of one set of forms.

It’s hard to believe that Coca Cola would use such an awful service for its shareholders!! It has completely hanged my opinion of Coca Cola. Why would the company tolerate such incompetence.
I had multiple issues with Computershare. I was given incorrect information over the phone and even in a letter.
It is unacceptable.

I was fortunate enough to speak to Reanna from Computer share Issuer Services at the Bristol Head Office today.She was very professional , friendly and went out of her way to help me with a query on shareholder dividends.Her Team leader Lucy also supported to deliver a positive outcome.Thank you to you both for your understanding and help today it is very much appreciated.Great customer service experienced.I hope this feedback is acknowledged and passed onto you both by your Managers.

Website and Customer Service is terrible
1. Couldn’t access online due to verification not being received, finally got access the next day
2. Website is just terrible;
a. I couldn’t figure out how to filter for current holding, don’t need the old holdings to enter Tax File and ABN
b. Profile shows actions required, struggled to update, actions still showing as required after updating
c. Couldn’t update Tax File number
3. Customer Service is difficult
a. Hard to hear
b. Strong accent
c. Didn’t resolve my issue: “Log back in tomorrow to check”. Come on! we don’t have endless amounts of time on our hands.

One of the worst if not the worst at all. I have share with the Prudential which were transferred to Computershare and that's were the nightmare began.
No timely tax information, no dividends records, and cannot get a live person to speak to. Nonetheless, they still charge fee, not sure for what. An absolute fraud in all material aspects. As to the SEC it is worthless , likely they are on it as well

I simply want to change my email but their system takes me around in circles, and the mobile app says "we are unable to continue"

Incompetent avoid at your expense.

Cost you money for poor service and no accountability,
demanded a share certificate for a holding which has never needed or held a certificate, reversed the sale and charged me for their error... thats how they treat you.
