Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire Omdömen 

Easy to book. Good communication prior to arrival. Very rapid response when we reported an issue we were having, even over the weekend.

The the holiday cottage was very comfortable with nice big rooms. The double bed upstairs was very comfortable and warm and the bathroom shower room. We had a few issues when we arrived number one was there was absolutely no information about how to use the central heating system cooker microwave washing machine or any piece of electrical equipment. The first couple of nights we were cold. We would’ve quite like to have lit the wood burner but there were no logs and during our stay there we were not able to find anyone who did sell logs. We had one or two issues with the blinds upstairs the blinds in the bathroom when I went into the bathroom and went to close the blinds had 30 to 30 flies clustering in the in the crevices of the folds which really was unpleasant. There was a very strong bright white light directly outside the cottage that stayed on till about midnight and came back on again about four or five the blinds were nowhere strong enough to keep the light out on the first night in particular the light kept me awake. The drive into the cottage was a bit difficult with a very steep U-turn into the lane and we had to back in and put the car as far back in little car parking space as possible because if it was a very narrow drive going past five cottages and nearly everybody backed out I would recommend the cottage but itit would make a lot of difference if instructions were there. It took us some time to learn how to use the washing machine and the central heating. Otherwise the cottage itself was fine. One suggestion for improvement that we would make would be to have a stair banister on the left-hand side because the right hand banter only went about halfway up we are both in our mid 70s and the staircase was a bit steep and we’ve just like the reassurance of a banister.

Just made a booking and I got the dates wrong, so had to change them, Lucy was very helpful and we have managed to change without any fuss, thank you!

When coming to payment, the CARD used wouldn't be accepted. Tried and tried until realised it was due to no Postcode being entered. It would be helpful and quicker if the postcode box was marked as being necessary.

Simply, it was so easy.

Easy to book on-line. Instantly received text confirming booking. Promised confirmation email never sent and I had to phone Coastal who manually sent confirmation.

It’s not our first time booking with Coastal Cottages and I’m certain it won’t be the last. It’s easy to book and always helpful if you have to call them if you’re not sure about something.

Been to Ivy Towers village many times now over the past years , with family and friends . Stayed in various different cottages .
Crofters cottage was absolutely disgusting and dirty throughout. Kitchen was dirty , stains , slops and food crumbs . Lounge was dusty, dirty . Conservatory was full of dust and cobwebs and damp . The upstairs followed a similar pattern.
I was so looking forward to my weeks holiday at Ivy towers village and staying in Crofters cottage as I’ve mentioned before I’ve stayed here twice before and also stayed at Saddlers and Dairy cottage and Ivy house . This was my only holiday this year and spent my hard earned money on this accommodation .

Would have been nice to be informed before hand , that the pool was being used around 3.30pm onwards week days for children’s private swimming lessons, so this wasn’t as stated a communal time for guests .

As always we loved the house.
However, this visit we noticed the cleaning of the house was not up to the usual standard.

A wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. Excellent location and facilities.

This was our second stay at Ty Cuddfan. The cottage is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped, and everything just works. The showers are good. The road is quiet with St David's attractions and pubs/restaurants all within a short walk. The surrounding coastline is wonderful, and we enjoyed two car free days.
During our previous stay, we experienced an issue with the fridge upon arrival. However, the team at Coastal Cottages resolved it promptly, which was particularly impressive given that it was a Saturday evening. A firm which cares about its customers that much is one that will get my repeat business.
