Been living at Gerard Lodge for 8months now and enjoying every moment!Think its fantastically run by Laura..she really goes over and above her duties as manager..the activities she arranges are brilliant and this place would not be the same without her here!

Wow! What a fabulous stay in Saffron Lodge visiting family. They are so so happy here. A huge thank you to Liz the Lodge Manager for her energy and enthusiasm. Absolutely superb. Liz thought of everything to make my visit perfect. From the time I arrived I felt so welcome. The room was spacious. The bed exceptionally comfortable.and hot shower. Liz had even left fresh milk and biscuits. Loved it here and will definitely be back soon. Thank you. Lorraine

The manager at Hardy Lodge Shaftesbury is invaluable. Having a relative living in the apartments the strength of a decent and inspiring manager means everything. Always available to answer any questions and keeps an oversight of all the buildings and content ensuring a smooth running of the lodge. When you visit the lodge you are always greeted with a warm reception and a smile. I believe the manager goes over and above for the residents by offering social activities such as monthly themed activities in the lodge such as ladies day at Ascot races and Wimbledon as well as outings for residents to join. These events are always well received whilst stimulating interaction and conversations between all the residents.

I had a lovely two-night stay at Catherine Lodge. The room was comfortable, spotless, and the accommodation was excellent. Penny was an amazing host—friendly, welcoming, and so helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I recently stayed in the guest room of St Mary's Lodge, Birchington-on-Sea. The room was perfect, clean and welcoming. I particularly liked the new coffee trolley and the lined curtains were very useful for keeping the very hot sun out . I also used the lounge and kitchen areas which were also very well kept. Thank you Fiona for your hard work.

Today I visited Spicer Lodge in Stourbridge to do a food tasting event from Wiltshire Farm Foods. I was greeted by Maria the lodge manager and was made to feel very welcome. I had a table set up ready for me which made my job easier. All the residents were so friendly, it was a pleasure to be there today. One thing I noticed too was how tidy the gardens were, which made it a very relaxing place to sit. All in all i really enjoyed my time with everyone there.

It has been an absolute pleasure having Mark as our lodge manager at Elgar Lodge in Malvern. Mark goes out of his way each day to make sure that we as owners/residents are happy. If there are any problems they are immediately dealt with. Our best interests are always a priority to him. He is a very kind and caring man and is always positive and enthusiastic on a day to day basis. We hope that we have Mark as lodge manager at Elgar Lodge for many many years to come. Everyone loves him here.

Yesterday at Gerard Lodge our manager, Laura organised a cream tea for the residents and worked really hard to make sure that all the residents that attended were looked after. Chairs with arms for the less mobile residents were there and if necessary were helped to be comfortably seated. A lovely time was had by all. Thank you Laura it was appreciated.

A huge thank you to Mandy, Lodge Manager at Cooper Lodge Frinton on Sea. You made our stay in the guest suite perfect, the room was to a very high standard and every small detail thought out. Looking forward to returning again in the future.

My mum has been living in Chantry Lodge,Andover since 2017 (sadly recently passed away) and I wanted to tell you how happy the whole family have been. Her & her husband absolutely loved living there and joined in with all the fabulous activities and trips that were offered. Mike to Manager has been a constant support and we would like to thank him personally for everything he has done (and is continuing to do) for them.

Being in the middle of Andover helped enormously as it is ideal for the mobility scooters therefore kept them as independent as possible.

Visitors to Chantry Lodge are amazed at how beautiful the lounges are kept - the garden areas and the friendliness of Mike and the other residents.

We are very thankful for everything and we would highly recommend Chantry Lodge.

Alfred Lodge Bridport is clean, quiet and very well located for the town.
Well managed. Glad I chose it.

My Mum lived at Chantry Lodge in Andover since 2017 - Mike the Manager has always been great. He always looked out for my Mum and the family. She always said how good he was looking after people, and at his manager's dinner he would bring people together. Unfortunately, my Mum has just passed on, and Mike has been great in helping us with info etc and, again for the countless time ran the bar for us at a less fun time of her Wake. Thanks Mike much appreciated!

Since 2020 my mother has lived in her apartment at Sarum Lodge in Salisbury and she cannot praise the warden, Donna, highly enough. She is always helpful, unflurried and ready to help or share a joke. She deals with any serious matter quickly and competently and ensures that all residents are well-informed, especially on matters of safety. She also works hard to provide fun activities for residents, and I couldn't imagine a better warden. She has helped to make my mother's experience very positive.

I immediately liked the look of Sarum Lodge, with its wide well-lit corridors and solid good quality windows and appliances. Living here I appreciate the insulation which means there is no noise from other flats. I love the gardens - an oasis in the city centre.
Our manager, Donna Lacy, gives a great sense of security as she knows the building inside out and is always on target with any repairs, cleaning etc that needs to be organised and is ready to explain and if necessary demonstrate the working of any fitment or appliance that causes puzzlement. Her cheerful manner and sense of humour never fail. She also has a real flair for putting on special celebrations, such as the
Strawberries and Spritz and the Non Valentine's Day., when the communal lounge looks delightful, with prettily decorated tables, tempting food and cocktails/mocktails. Above all, Donna treats all
residents as fellow adults.

I visited my Auntie at Beck Lodge and the welcome I received from Sue the Lodge Manager was excellent and she was extremely helpful and attentive both on arrival and departure. Thank You.

We have made use of the immaculate Guest Lodge at St Mary's Lodge at Birchington for a few nights stay whilst we had family visiting the area. Fiona Loader, the site manager, ensured that my elderly father had everything needed and really looked after him with such care during his stay. He was very happy with all the facilities and comfortable in the lovely surroundings, the lodge itself is peaceful, very clean and a welcoming environment. Thank you again to Fiona for being so accommodating and for the residents for being so welcoming and friendly during his time visiting. The town of Birchington is also very lovely and worth a visit, with lovely high street and beautiful beaches.

I reside at St. Mary's Lodge in Birchington. I just wanted to write regarding the lodge manager here. Fiona is extremely professional in the way she deals with all residents and visitors. Always willing to answer any queries and always willing to help wherever she can. The residents lounge is always a welcoming environment which is due to Fiona's hard work and effort. She makes St Mary's a great place to live.

Evette Fox, Lodge Manager in Kidlington, was wonderful and really helped Ann to settle in and helped with the WiFi etc. nothing was too much trouble for her.

Stayed at Atkins Lodge in Orpington where my sister and husband live. It was lovely and comfortable and it was kind of them to arrange it for us.
The Guest Suite was well equipped with an en-suite shower and tv. Not that we used the tv.
Very impressed with the Churchill complex.

We have a truly wonderful Lodge Manager.
In particular, what persuades me to give her the 5* that she has been instructed to aim for when soliciting reviews?
It is simply the fact that she is (almost!) always ready to defend her 'patch' (ie us, her Residents, and the building and grounds that she runs so well) against the often somewhat unreasonable demands of her own line management, and to pursue our queries and problems with the Head Office accounts and customer service teams - especially when the initial replies we occasionally get from these departments are clearly either not exactly correct or helpful.
Almost like a cat with kittens, or a lioness with cubs!
