My Mum lives in Catherine Lodge, when we walk into the place it always feels clean warm and homely.
We have just celebrated my parents 70th Wedding Anniversary with the other residents in the lounge. Penny the Lodge Manageress could not have been more kind and accommodating. She was above and beyond helpful to us assisting our every need. She is always cheerful, approachable and practical.
Since Penny has been there she organises so many lovely social events for the residents which my Mum thoroughly enjoys. Which makes us, as a family very happy.

I would very much to forward my review for the above mentioned Lodge,my assistant and myself have had the pleasure of working at this establishment of luxury apartments on several occasions now and and can only say great things about how it is so very welcoming by all the people who live there,a warm and friendly atmosphere is obvious to us ,and it must be added that this stems by the professional manner that the manager Jayne oversees her duties in a caring & kind way,my kindest regards to all.Terry Sleeman.

Has a wonderful stay on the guest suite hosted by the lovely Tina lodge manager who left me with an excellent welcoming note.
The room was perfect very clean use of microwave and with parking 😊

Had a fabulous stay in the Guest Suite at Mellor Lodge, Uttoxeter recently.
The room is welcoming and spacious, tea and coffee making facilities, fluffy towels and even a mini fridge to store fresh milk !
Karen the Lodge Manager is absolutely lovely and was very informative about our stay with help of where to park, how to gain access from the door etc.
Loved the horse racing and enjoyed a fantastic meal in Uttoxeter.
Great location for a Lodge !

As the gardener at Alfred Lodge in Bridport, it's good to visit each week to keep the grounds in order as well as to catch up with Sarah the manager and the residents. Sarah manages and maintains Alfred Lodge to a high standard with everything always kept in great condition.

Made the move to Churchill retirement living Trewin Lodge Yate in July 25. Big decision on my own having been widowed and giving up a family home. I was welcomed by both the Manager and residents. The lodge and gardens are well maintained, concerns are dealt with promptly, someone on hand if needed. I feel secure and content in my new apartment and the environment I now live in.

The customer service at Churchill was absolutely brilliant. Ann was warm, welcoming and helpful while I was visiting. Everyone at the lodge seems very happy, with any queries being dealt with quickly and professionally.

My friend has lived at Priory Lodge for many years, and as a regular visitor, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to experience it firsthand. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere and welcome feel more like a boutique hotel than a typical residence, warm, inviting, and thoughtfully presented.

The entire estate is exceptionally well maintained, both inside and out. The interiors are pristine, and the grounds are always kept to a very high standard, which really adds to the overall sense of comfort and quality.

A special mention must go to Elaine, the Lodge Manager, who does an outstanding job. She manages everything seamlessly from organising activities to handling maintenance issues and is always available to assist residents and visitors alike. Her dedication and professionalism truly make a difference, and she is a real asset to Priory Lodge.

My Aunt moved to an apartment at Brook Lodge in Benfleet 7 years ago. She settled in quickly and was made welcome by all the residents, very friendly and close community. She loved the weekly coffee mornings, a chance to meet and catch up with the other residents.
The Lodge has been maintained well, and is still looking modern and fresh. I cannot thank the Lodge Manager, Caroline, enough for her help and support over the years, going beyond the job to help. As my Aunt's health deteriorated Caroline was always there to listen, advise and support, thank you.

Having been here for 6 months I have now settled in extremely well. Having moved from a 3 storey house to a 1 bed apartment which now feels like home. It is a lovely welcoming community with a fantastic manager who goes above and beyond for us all. I have everything I need on the doorstep in Cowbridge and the apartment is of an incredibly high standard with the benefit of access to the garden. The communal areas and garden are also very well maintained. I would definitely recommend living here.

This review is purely because of my Area Manager - Paul King who works in the Midlands Area. He has worked hard in the past year to keep our expenses in check. Had this been a review of any other manager within CEM I would not have bothered to score them. Head office people, unlike Paul, think they are above writing to home owners directly. They refuse to discuss with us the rational behind some of their decisions, and as for any person above Area Manager coming to talk to us or reply to our emails that they have been sent seems too much for them to handle. Paul King is a great exception. He is upfront with us and tries his best to help. He is ably assisted by our lodge manager. Thank goodness he covers the area in which my lodge is based.

Very good location with a quiet garden. Residents are sociable and welcoming. It feels secure and the building is well kept with good facilities including its own launderette. It has a very helpful and cheerful manager.

Steve is very sociable and friendly and wil sort out any problems that occur. He attends our coffee morning and lets us know of any rules or actions necessary to make everything flow for everyone. It’s a pleasure to have a manager like Steve. He also sends emails to all the residents of appropriate items

I moved from Birmingham to Betjeman Lodge in Ludlow on 25 February 2022 and I can honestly say it was the best move I ever made. I cannot praise our Lodge Manager, Gill, enough. She goes above and beyond in running Betjeman Lodge, always puts the residence first and offers help to anyone that needs it. We have yearly summer garden parties and organised group activities during the week. As well as having the best Lodge Manager anyone can wish for, it’s the people that makes Betjeman Lodge a happy & fulfilling place to live.

We are originally from the UK but now live in Arizona USA, we travelled back to the UK to visit family who all live in the Hythe area, and one, my brother-in-law, lives in Worthington Lodge.
We stayed in the guest suite at Worthington Lodge in Hythe, Kent from the 11th of March to the 24th of March 2026. The room was comfy and well equipped and a very reasonable price. The lodge manager, Liz was absolutely marvelous and made us feel very welcome. She helped organize a wheelchair from a local carer for my wife to use and helped us with all our questions and needs.
Liz is a very special person who really cares about the residents at the lodge. She is efficient and organized and looks after the resident very well, as well as taking care of all the necessary business that help keep the residents safe and the lodge in good condition. If we still lived in England, we would certainly consider having Worthington Lodge as our home.
The area manager, Kate was there during our stay, and I would like her to know that she has a great manager/representative in Liz, and she should be proud to have staff like Liz working with her.
I would like to thank Liz for helping to make our stay a memorable and stress free one. We are looking forward to staying in the guest suite again in the near future
