The company has always had poor customer service, but it has finally gotten bad enough for me to write this review. I ordered over $1000 worth of items around 3 years ago and never got any of the items because of "COVID". I finally got a shipping notification yesterday, but since I moved I needed to change my address. They refused to change the address since I had changed countries. Further, they refused to refund me anything but store credit. The customer service agents were very rude about it and actually originally told me they wouldn't even cancel the order (after saying I wanted to cancel the order they replied "Hello, We leave the order as it is." After getting them to finally cancel the orders, they said they would only give me store credit. I asked very politely if they would be decent enough to refund my bank account and they flat out ignored my request. I was forced to take the credit, but they gave me ~33% of what they owed me! I'm still in the process of dealing with the rude customer service representative.

Avoid this business like the plage because, if there are issues, customer service will go out of its way to be as unhelpful as possible. There are other places to buy Japanese items like Playasia and YesAsia, where you will get treated way better and have a much better selection of items.

A quality company, excellent customer service, top quality packing and packaging. Shipping according to your preferences. Excellent promotions.

I found the CD's I wanted the quality was great as defined in the site. Delivery options were also very cost effective considering the current freight rates. All in all a fantastic experience. Well done CD Japan keep up the great work!!!

The organization of the website can sometimes be a little awkward, but don't let that put you off. They often have things nobody else supplies globally, and their prices are competitive if the product can be found elsewhere. Shipping is almost always blazing fast, and the few times I've had a problem it's been rectified quickly.

I’ve been new at purchasing fude brushes and with some research came across cdjapan. I was a bit hesitant as the site is not really user friendly for those that are not interested in cds or games. I’m mostly interested in fude makeup brushes and beauty. I love that the shipping threshold is lower than other Japanese retailers and the variety is great. Shipping is really quick despite it coming from Japan and very well packaged. I have no complaints about the shop, but I would like it to be more user friendly and easier to navigate through brush brands.

Legitimate business. Anybody who likes to purchase Japanese products is no stranger to CDJapan. From figurines, beauty products, and fashion to even proxy shipping, where they'll order things on your behalf for a fee. Definitely the cheapest and most reliable option. I usually get my products within two week from Japan to US. They also answer any inquiries within a timeframe of 1-2 business days but that's just my personal experience. They have a great rewards system that lets you use up your points to get better discounts too. Their coupons can't be combined though, which is a total bummer

The rewards point for each item you buy is a neat feature to have and as someone who used the proxy services I can say that it is a great option if you happen to stumble across an item that you don’t know how to use another website.

CDJapan offer a huge variety and selection of fude brushes at an honest prices. I appreciate the free shipping offer at a capped ¥12000 purchases. The shipping does take longer then Amazon however that’s understandable since it is shipped from Japan. And considering that it is, I think it arrives in good time. Their packaging is also superb. I would continue to purchase my fude brushes from CDJapan as long as they continues to be an honest company selling at an honest prices.

I am in the U.S. and the music of Japan is not easily found over here. So, their variety of all styles of music has been a pleasure to search and find, with shipping rates and service that has been reliable. Great quality and service!
