Cannondale started in a loft above a pickle factory in 1971 in Connecticut USA making bicycle luggage and a trailer to haul kids called 'the bugger'. We were one of the pioneers of high performance bicycles by using oversized aluminium tubing which gave a lighter, stiffer ride and also a technological pioneer with products including the Lefty single sided suspension system in 1999, still fitted to bikes today.

Appalling
I bought a £5000 Tesoro Neo X from my local bike store in August 2023 which made creaking noises almost from day one.....like cycling with a very noisy comedy mouse. Eventually this gave way to a horrible grauching metal sound. My store finally got Cannondale to admit it was the frame but after months of waiting and calling I am still without my bike or a new frame. Appalling customer service and by far the worst bike I've owned. Upsetting for both myself and the bike store.
Cannondale, problème de rappel de cadre
Cannondale c'est trop nul, j'ai acheter un dave en étant revendeur et un an après on me signale un rappel de cadre à faire mais 2 mois après on me sort qu'ils ont pas de cadre puis ensuite il y a un rappel peinture sur des peintures même pas encore commercialisée, c'est décevant de la part de cette marque et en plus je sais même pas si ça sera le gris mat que j'avais d'origine, aller chez Commencal ou Rocky Mountain pour leurs dirt et autres vélos

After 10 months with no problems the rear derailleur broke off frame due to chain seizing for no apparent reason (no crash, and I didn't hit anything). Bike was assembled by a professional bike shop and was within 1 year warranty but Cannondale did not reply to me after I contacted them twice over 3 weeks. My local dealer contacted them and Cannondale will not cover the repair as part of the warranty. Is this how anyone would want to be treated after spending > 3000 euro?
Perfekt cykel

Premetto che è la prima Cannondale che volevo comprare e che sono 20 anni che acquisto biciclette…il 10 aprile ordino attraverso il negoziante una topstone della mia taglia e adatta alle mie esigenze che era segnalata disponibile dal 14 aprile poi 6-10 giorni lavorativi per la consegna…dopo un mese nulla ho chiamato e il negoziante mi dice che la bici sul suo data base è in consegna…arriviamo al 28 maggio e su mie insistenti chiamate il responsabile Cannondale ammette che la bicicletta non è disponibile e non si sa quando sarà disponibile nuovamente..per scusarsi mi propone uno sconto del 20 % sul pronta consegna..con il negoziante controlliamo cosa c’è in pronta consegna…risultato l’unica bicicletta disponibile è la top di gamma in una colorazione discutibile per la quale dopo l’attesa avrei dovuto sborsare altri 1200 euro compreso di sconto…ovviamente sui loro siti questo problema di assenza di pezzi non viene segnalata…al limite della truffa
Dave recall - ride stop
Er ejer af en Dave som der er recall på pga fejl i svejsning. Fik besked af cannondale at jeg skulle indlevere cyklen ved nærmeste forhandler for at få skiftet stellet omkostningsfrit. Får besked af forhandler at cannondale ikke kan levere stel før September og at de ikke må udlevere min cykel før der er et nyt stel. Kort sagt så er min cykel tilbageholdt/stjålet af forhandleren. Står nu og har betalt 2 kommende ferier hvor de er bestilt til at skal bruge min cykel.
Det er den værste service til dato. Har prøvet at kontakte cannondale på alle måder uden at jeg har fået svar!? Dette ender med en politianmeldelse
No customer service at all
I own a Cannondale CAADX that is subject to the fork recall. I've been trying on and off to get the fork replaced.
I am happy to simply receive a fork and fit it myself as I'm comfortable working on bikes. However, at every turn this process has been made completely impossible.
I tried dealing Cannondale via twitter and I was told to message my local dealer. I've honestly emailed and called this shop 5-10 times since covid and I'm always told they'll get back to me. I usually try to be understanding in these situations but honestly I'd go so far as to say this shop is utterly useless.
I'd never buy another Cannondale and now I'm left with a bike I can only sell in good conscience by disclosing that their fork might fail, worst case scenario causing death (as in the case of the reason for the original recall).
Super disappointing
Super disappointing. Bought Topstone 4 and bottom bracket was gone in 8 moths, so has the freehub that needed servicing. The whole bike started creaking. Feels cheap. Maybe it's the bottom of the range, but it's still not cheap. Pay a tiny bit more and get a Canyon, that has been a real delight.
Telaio rotto caad13
Pessima esperienza con Cannondale,circa un anno fa ho acquistato una caad13 come prima mia bici,circa un mese fa al rientro da un mio solito giro da amatore controllando la catena mi accorgo che il telaio appena sopra il deragliatore ant è spezzato su tre lati ,stranito da questa rottura in un posto anomalo e soprattutto consapevole di non aver preso buche di entità tale da spezzare un telaio ricorro alla famigerata "garanzia telaio a vita"..risultato un mese senza bici per poi sentirmi dire che la mia rottura non è coperta da garanzia in quanto risulta affaticamento meccanico ed era mia responsabilità eseguire le manutenzioni(parliamo di telaio spezzato)...bene ora io la bici me la saldo per tamponare e poi ne comprerò un altra di sicuro non Cannondale sarà mia premura sconsigliarla

Min cykel kunne ikke fikses ved den lokale cykelmekaniker, og de sagde at jeg skulle kontakte Cannondale. Cannondale vælger at vente 3 uger med at sende et AUTOSVAR som belejligt nok passede til den kategori som jeg skrev min henvendelsesformular i. Hele mit service forløb af denne cykel har varet længere nok til at garantien nu er udløbet…

Bought into the cannondale hype and got a Topstone 3. BB is soft and low quality, FSA chainset weak, Sora derailleur rubbish changes. Otherwise a solid bike. Change these out and enjoy.
Carbon frame cracked. "Obsolete" 3 year old bike. Lousy warranty.
My 3-year-old Cannondale Carbon Synapse experienced a spontaneous frame crack with just regular road riding--no crash. I purchased it new for over $4000 in November 2020 at REI. It had top of the lineDuraAce components. Cannondale agreed to replace the frame under warranty, but replaced it with a 2024 model frame which has a different size bottom bracket and seat post, making my current crank and seatpost unusable. According to REI, my old Holographic crank cost $800-$1000 new, but it cannot be used on the replacement frame. Cannondale says the warranty does not cover incompatible parts when the bike is "obsolete." They consider my three year old bicycle to be obsolete. New similar quality compatable parts cost me $1001. Labor cost covered by REI cost $400. Cannondale offered me a free helmet to compensate me.
Don't expect much from Cannondale. On line, I read of similar experiences. I suspect Cannondale just produces low quality frames prone to cracking.
Cannondale: Bad quality control and customer service
I ordered a Cannondale Moterra Neo ebike in January of 2024. It was delivered a week later to my local dealer with the electric motor inoperable due to not having been configured at the factory. I called Cannondale and opened a help ticket, but never heard back from them.
The bicycle was eventually fixed by a Trek dealer because my Cannondale dealer was not Bosch certified and couldn’t get the necessary software. It is sad to see how far this company has fallen after bankruptcy and being sold at least twice. This is the last Cannondale I will buy because it seems that Cannondale thinks it is OK to not do a basic health check on a $7500 ebike. Thirty seconds to glance at a screen is apparently too much time to dedicate to quality control. Also, following up on help tickets is not necessary. Like wise, requiring that your ebike dealers show proof of current Bosch certification is not necessary even though Bosch has a death grip on support software and will only allow mechanics with current certifications to download the support apps.
Brand new bike is like old second hand.
I bought a brand new Quick CX 3 Cannondale in August and it has been the biggest disappointment in my more than 45 years of biking. They do not seem to properly fix their bikes during production because first the front wheel bearing went loose (that was even dangerous as the bike turned to the left when breaking) and then the pedal bearing went loose (and that is the most annoying thing ever because it makes click twice for every turn - like with a worn off old second hand bike). Unfortunately my bike shop closed down so I cannot even bring it there for repair. Just contacted Cannondale online and registered my bike. Let's see what they respond and if they can help. In any case, not at all what I expect of a new bike that I use every day to go to work...
Ten year review Evo supersix 2014
My Cannondale carbon evo supersix is coming up to ten years old so I thought it was time for a review. But I was a bit shocked when it came to writing this as Cannondale seem to have picked up a lot of negative reviews which for me are supprising. In the ten years I have had my bike it has been just brilliant, I have done about 40k miles on it which maybe not as much as a regular cycler but I have to travel for work a lot so my riding is sporadic. I find it easy to maintain, cable changes, wheels, pretty much everything on it has been very reliable and easy to sort out. Still looks great, quick clean and apart from a few small dings it could have just come out of the box. A pleasure to ride and great to look at.
Tardanza inadmisible en los recambios de la marca
Tengo dos bicicletas de Cannondale, Jekyll 4 del 2016 y Moterra Neo 3 de 2020, decir que en la eléctrica si que he tenido algunos problemas de montaje y el eje trasero, cojinete y núcleo, que no debería de haber tenido y que parecen ser recurrentes.
Lo que mas me indigna, es la excesiva tardanza en los recambios, mas de un mes, en piezas que se deberían de tener en stock o bien de servirlas con mayor rapidez. No es de recibo, que una marca de prestigio se desacredite, haciéndote tener la bicicleta parada mas de un mes, por cualquier pieza que te tiene que traer Cannondale, de no se sabe donde, porque no es compatible con la industria auxiliar.

I have tried to contact this company via mail and telephone several times. They have answering machines and no reply emails. This is a fraud company don,t buy anything from them.One star is too much.
Cannondale quality missing
I am torn in writing this review because Cannondale customer service stepped up. Their phone number is mostly a miss . Where being able to reach someone may have been pivotal in the reasonable conclusion of my situation.
Why the Cannondale.I decided to look for an ebike where throttle wasn't a huge criteria. What I chose was an "entry" level priced ebike from Cannondale. On "paper" (few bike blogs) this bike appeared to meet the need. With limited reviews, literally nothing on YouTube from influencers.
Within the first week of owning the ebike , I found build quality issues. Being an ebike, one of the problems could lead to an unwanted fire. Perhaps this aided in a resolution other consumers didn't receive. The ebike was not going to be a primary bike. My use case required it to still be reliable, and safe,eg.not go up in flames, and burn my place down.
The good, this Cannondale had a design that turned heads in a major urban center filled with ebikes,and non ebikes. The aesthetics were as expected from a company such as theirs.
Cannondale quality, customer service process leaves me not wanting another bike from the brand Pon Holdings.
Cannondale Free Helmet offer scam?
I purchased a new Cannondale mountain bike and applied for the free junction helmet. I got an email confirming this and stating that I would receive the helmet in four to six weeks. Nothing received and you cannot reply to the confirmation email to query. I have spent ages trying to find somewhere to email or telephone. What reputable company has no obvious way of allowing its customers to easily contact them. Where is my helmet, I see I am not the only one! Disgraceful.

De fiets rijdt prima. De samenwerking tussen BOSCH en Cannondale is een flop. (Bosch Smart System) Handleidingen bestaan, maar zijn niet relevant. Foto's en bedieningspanelen zijn verschillend. Een snelgids bij aankoop zou aangewezen zijn.
Smartsense kan niet geconfigureerd worden via de app van Bosch. Kiox 500.
De GPS werkt op de smartphone, maar de koppeling naar de display doet het niet correct.
En zo veel meer....
Voor de prijs van meer dan € 5000 mag men wel verwachten dat alles correct functioneert. De SmartphoneGrip zou standaard moeten worden bijgeleverd.
