Cannondale started in a loft above a pickle factory in 1971 in Connecticut USA making bicycle luggage and a trailer to haul kids called 'the bugger'. We were one of the pioneers of high performance bicycles by using oversized aluminium tubing which gave a lighter, stiffer ride and also a technological pioneer with products including the Lefty single sided suspension system in 1999, still fitted to bikes today.

Januari jl. Scalpel si uit 2023 nieuw gekocht. Overjarig model. Na 400 km scheurde mijn carbon achterwiel (hollowgram) in op het randje. Ik kreeg zojuist na ruim 6 weken en 25 fotos via mail, te horen dat ik geen aanspraak kan maken op de garantie. Wat een ontzettende slechte service om klanten zo ontzettend lang te laten wachten. En zonder opgaaf van reden...
Ook geen ander aanbod, zoals zgn. crash replacement of iets dergelijks

Das soll vorrangig an Mahle liegen und deren miesem Service, aber da Cannondale ja auf diese Firma setzt und man dort auch niemanden erreicht, wird es mein letztes Rad von denen und mein letztes mit Mahle-Antrieb sein

Jeg er 68 år og købte ( i efteråret 2024 ) en el-cykel til 21.000 i Vejle. Jeg har cyklet på den i cirka 1 måned resten af tiden står den på værksted eller bare står stille hjemme. DEN VIRKER IKKE ,,!!! Går ud i displayet, el " sætter ud " og så hakker den over i gear ,,! KATASTROFE !!! Jeg er dyb ulykkelig ,,,,, har jeg smidt så mange penge lige ud af vinduet !!!!!

J'ai acheté un TESORO NEO X 1 STH MD GRY29 en septembre 2023 pour un montant de 5055.40 euros.
Depuis en 900 kms, j'ai percé au moins 10 fois. Il est monté sur des pneus de m...e de mauvaise qualité. Les pneus ont des crampons mais trop fins.
Je souhaiterai que vous fassiez un effort sur vos prochains modèles afin que personne n'est ce soucis.

Lost $5000 and got metal scarp Cannondale Motera Neo 5
Almost two years ago, I bought a brand new Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 for around $5000 from an official dealer in Indonesia — and it's hands down the worst bike purchase of my life.
About a month in, the Shimano battery died, and the bike wouldn't turn on. They replaced it under warranty, but it took a whole month. A couple of months later, the bike had another charging issue due to faulty contacts — another two weeks in the shop. Then the motor broke down. They replaced it under warranty too, but this time it took five months. While waiting for that repair, the power button stopped working — now they're saying I have to wait another 45 days for that fix.
So in two years of owning this bike, it's spent over six months in repairs — and it'll probably stay there even after the warranty expires, which honestly feels like a strategy to avoid further claims about the bike's awful quality. On top of that, none of the replacements come with any paperwork, so I can't even be sure they're installing new parts.
I tried reaching out to Cannondale's official distributor in Indonesia, but they're just straight up ignoring my messages. Maybe someone here actually reads customer complaints?

Spent more on repairs than the bikes worth.
I spent 900.00 on a bike that I now have 1000.00 in repairs on. Three years old, I have replaced six derailer hangers, three derailers, a dozen spokes, three tubes, and a rear gear sprocket, and I am about to replace the shift cables that are starting to fray. The parts on the bike are cheap and not well "fit" together. I ride the bike six months a year doing unchallenging rides. The dealer was only sympathetic up to the point. I had him work on the bike six hours before I finally got the chain to stay on.

Sliding of saddle post
I have several high end Cannondale bicycles including EVO road bike, Lefty MTB and slice TT bike. I give three stars as the price - performance of the frame/bike is very good.
I tend to agree with other reviewers that they seem to care zero if problems occur. With my TT-bike the saddle post was from the start sliding down after ~30km riding making the bike useless. I tried various things like carbon paste, slightly tighter fixing than the recommended 4 Nm and so on. There was some success with these and especially with the advice from the dealer to push the saddle forward/backward hard and tighten again.
Asking Cannondale if this problem is unique I never received an answer and I would even have considered to buy a new saddle post if that would fix the problem permanently. Asking them directly or over the dealer they seem not to give any answer. Very disappointing that they do not care and share even simple info.

Terrible company on many levels
I bought a Cannondale bike at Evan’s bike store a little over 12months ago. I ride to work which isn’t far had the gear cassette on the rear wheel fall off mid ride which led to some spokes breaking and the back wheel falling off. I took the bike to Evan’s and despite never crashing the bike, was told under their accident repair scheme, I could get a discount on another bike. I had already paid £900 for a new bike 12 months earlier and was now being asked to pay another £750. I told the evans rep I wasn’t happy with this and he advised me to contact the cannondale team directly. I have been trying to contact them for about 4 weeks now with no response whatsoever. Hoping this message prompts someone to get in touch.

Bottom Bracket cane loose after 200 km. No space for lock ring. Only temp solution is red loctite. Awful unreliable bike, and deliberate omission of a contactable email on Cannondales website. Zero customer service, and frustrating ownership. Bike was 1450 euro. If worked I would value it at 150 euro. Rock bottom quality.

J'ai acheté un cannondale topstone 3 carbone en ligne chez mammothbikes. La roue libre du vélo a cédé au bout de 1 500 kms environ.
Barrabes Mammothbikes doit m'envoyer la pièce et me demande de m' orienter vers un réparateur cannondale à proximité de chez moi afin de procéder aux réparations en s'engageant à payer la facture. Depuis plus grand chose, cela traine et d'après mammothbikes, les délais de réponse sont liés à Cannondale.
Premièrement plusieurs réparateurs cannondale m'ont indiqué que le problème de corps de roue libre est connu chez Cannondale depuis longtemps déjà. Comment se fait-il que la pièce défectueuse soit encore montée sur des vélos récents.
Deuxièmement les revendeurs agréés Cannondale refusent de se charger de la garantie Cannondale pour des vélos achetés en ligne. On doit se retourner vers le site d'achat.
Troisièmement les délais sont inadmissibles. Mon vélo est immobilisé depuis une longue période

I can’t give them a zero so it will have to be one star. When my carbon frame failed around the bottle cage mount the UK distributer told me in their view this wasn’t covered by the ‘lifetime’ warranty and to contact Cannondale in the US if I wanted to take it further. The problem is that they ignore both emails and posts / messages via social media.
Their bikes are great to ride when they work but their customer service is atrocious and their warranties aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

Bittere Enttäuschung! Ich kann die Bewertungen im Portal im Grunde nur bestätigen: Die Carbongabel meines Cannondale TopStone hat einen Riss. Fachhändler und Cannondale sind das ganze Jahr nicht in der Lage, die Gabel auszutauschen.
Mein Fazit: Da kann man auch ein billiges Rad beim Online-Händler kaufen.

Will never buy a Cannondale again. Bike had components far inferior to the advertised spec. Bottom bracket failed in first year and they refused to warranty. I have bought dozens of bikes in the past - they are by far the worst experience I have ever had.
Einfach kein Service
Ich habe Lackabplatzer bei einem 4 Tage alten Topstone Carbon Lefty 2 in der Farbe "electric blue". Schon ärgerlich genug. Da es noch 2 weitere Farben an dem Fahrrad gibt, habe ich versucht, herauszufinden, wie sich diese Farben nennen, um irgendwo entsprechende Lackstifte zu beschaffen. Bei Cannondale bekommt man nur vorgefertigte 08/15-Antworten und einen Verweis auf den nächsten Händler. Der nächste Händler weiß aber auch nicht, wie die anderen beiden Farben heißen. Verkaufen Fahrräder für sehr viel Geld und haben keinerlei Support oder entsprechend kompetente Fachhändler. Das kann ja heiter werden mit dem neuen Rad, bin sehr gespannt, wie sich das bei richtigen Schäden entwickelt.

À fuir. J’ai acheté un Cannondale topstone 2 (Gravel) en 2021 et un des inserts à l’arrière du cadre s’est dessoudé. Impossible de continuer le bikepacking car impossible de fixer un porte bagages… d’autant plus qu’il est dangereux de rouler avec un vélo dont le cadre est abîmé ! Le vélo avait trois ans et Cannondale m’a proposé un « geste commercial » : 20 % de réduction sur l’achat d’un nouveau cadre Cannondale. Plus jamais cette marque !
Par ailleurs, j’ai rencontré d’autres problèmes avec mon vélo Cannondale et principalement avec les roues WTB qui se sont cassées à plusieurs reprises (les têtes de rayon se fissuraient).
Marque à fuir. Aucun moyen de les contacter à moins de passer par le revendeur. Ce n’est pas pour rien que la plupart des vendeurs de vélos ne travaillent plus avec cette marque !
