A fabulous place to go as there are so…
A fabulous place to go as there are so many options to choose for your fitness.
It is exceptionally clean & the showers are hot. I love my early swim before work.
It is so easy to book online so the pool is never over booked.

Being a newbie at the gym
Everyone is friendly,and I feel comfortable enough to go on my own,I like the fact I have an extra 5 to 10minutes if I am running late for whatever reason to attend my booked gym session,and of course the equipment there is perfect for what I need to train.

The staff both at the reception and in the gym were helpful and friendly. The gym was not too busy and the equipment was well maintained and clean. The pool was not too busy and the lanes were set out well with the correct swimming direction indicated (this is important and often not understood).

Helpful staff. Clean and well maintained environment. Pleased to see lifeguards in attendance as well . Cafe also excellent with a good selection of snacks available.

The swimming pool feels colder than…
The swimming pool feels colder than usual and the shower afterwards was luke warm, prices have increased and thermostats been turned down even more it seems.

2nd day in and l attended the Rebound…
2nd day in and l attended the Rebound class which l walked out of in under 15 mins. NO "is there anyone new people to the class/rebound" - in less than 15mins the instructors legs are in the air like scissors. No alternative options you either know what you were doing or like me, were unable to keep to any pace. Embarrassing.. if a class does not cater for new starters to rebound please be clear.

I am very sorry to hear that you were unable to keep up with the new Rebounder session when you attended. I am also sorry that the website does not specify if a class is advanced or for a beginner. I will forward your comments for the attention of the manager who oversees all Fitness Classes to query if this is something we can apply to the website/App. We appreciate your feedback in regards to this issue, as through feedback we can identify improvement areas and provide a better service.

It's a great gym - needs to extend opening hours
It's a great gym, but I wish they'd extend the opening hours, especially on a weekend. Staff are great.

Staff and facilities are great
Staff and facilities are great. Usually very clean. Only occasionally after a busy spell the ladies locker rooms could use a wipe, but it’s only happened a couple times. Generally very clean.Hours are convenient. Equipment is always in good order.

Wish I'd joined sooner !
I was referred to Better by my doctor after a recent injury and after 2 weeks the improvement in my physical condition has improved significantly. The healthwise professional at the gym assessed my problems and devised a program of exercises to help my recovery. He was very knowledgeable and understanding. After the initial meeting with him I was then given an introduction to the gym where I was shown around all the equipment and how to use it. I have used the gym 3 times a week so far and found the app to be incredibly easy to use for booking and all the staff I have encountered have been extremely friendly and very helpful.
My first time using a gym and I just wish I'd joined one sooner. I'm really enjoying it 😀
