Slow application process, but ultimately responsive to special circumstances
It took multiple days of correspondence to finalize my account application, but the staff was ultimately responsive and helpful in understanding my special application circumstances. This is not always possible today with automated / algorithmic decision-making, regardless of special circumstances which can only be addressed by knowledgeable customer service staff.

Was able to talk to a live petson
Once I got through all the automated help systems, I was able to speak with a real person fairly quickly. She was polite, attentive and provided the information and help I needed quickly.

Do not recommend
This bank is the worst for customer service and being able to close out accounts. I tried multiple times over a period of 10 days. It is nearly impossible to speak to customer service and has limited hours. Very hard to deal with.

Best place for CDs
Bank5 Connect easily had the best rates on short-term CDs like 6 months. It was a snap to set up, and their website and cell phone app made my CD easy to work with. When it was time to close out my CD, the customer service team was extremely helpful. Next time I invest, I will definitely be choosing Bank5 Connect!
