The 2% APY on the checking account is excellent, but the overall banking experience falls short. The mobile app is very basic and lacks essential features like card management, so you can't lock your card or report it lost or stolen through the app. Zelle also isn't available until about a month after opening the account, which is inconvenient. Customer service responds in a timely manner and usually resolves issues, but the representatives can come across as a bit rude. Another downside is that there is no way to deposit cash directly through an ATM. Finally, the bank's loan-to-deposit ratio is around 103%, which may be a consideration for some customers. Overall, I'd rate Bank5 Connect 2.5 out of 5 stars.

I like this bank
I like this bank, I've been with them for years. They just need to find a way to authenticate when payments come in from other states. Maybe inside the app, one can open the state or country of choice when payments need to go through. Having to contact the Bank all the time is a bit of a pain. But overall, it's a good bank.

Our representative could not help me verify my account. He offered absolutely no solutions and acted like he didn’t care about our experience in the least bit. I was tempted to close my account because of how awful the customer service was
