Bamba swim really do make cute swimwear I will give them that. Unfortunately it is far from functional. Constantly adjusting the top because I am always slipping out of it - this has happened with THREE different styles of tops (and yes I have the right size and I have a small bust lol). The way they make the bathers there really isn't anything to support you its just a very thin piece of fabric. I have had a lot of bathers in my life and I was shocked at how thin it is. Then the colour fades ridiculously fast, they say its chlorine resistant but its the least chlorine resistant out all of the bathers I have EVER owned, they hardly last at all. Once I went into the pool and came out and they were a completely different colour!! And then one pair I had I never wore in chlorine and it faded really fast in the sun. Shop elsewhere and don't waste your money.

Appalling company, terrible quality and no refund

Appalling company, terrible quality and can’t return for a refund. They didn’t even reply to my questions on their chat until order was already placed and when I realised they don’t refund I tried to cancel my order but was told it had already been shipped so I couldn’t, they shipped it before replying to my emails asking about this. Definitely don’t make the mistake of ordering from them, you will be extremely disappointed.

We do accept return for exchange or credit on all purchases, but do not offer refunds unless faulty which is standard among the swim/ intimates industry. We have a large 60 day return window, so feel free to proceed with a return if you wish to choose something else from our extensive swim, clothing and accessory range xx

Poor quality and awful customer experience

This company does not deserve even 1 star. Their material and product are low quality and customer service is poor experience. Bikini purchased for my daughter was ruined after 2nd hand wash. Contacted company- refused to acknowledge it was their problem. Will never buy again

Great!

Shipping was crazy fast, especially considering it was coming from Singapore. Bikini looks great and is decent quality, my only qualm is the price! $100 NZD - which was already after the sale discount - is really expensive for a single bikini top.

Decent

I got the Lolita top in size S and I’m usually an XS, glad I sized up because Bamba stuff runs pretty small. It fits a bit awkwardly but it’s good quality and I’ve received a lot of compliments.
It came crazy fast to GB, but I had to pay an extra £23 in taxes to DHL. Be mindful that when you buy something from here you might need to pay more.

Waste of money

I made my first ever purchase recently for the first time on Bamba Swim during their 25% off sale, as their swimmers are extremely expensive and I have never been able to justify paying full price. After I payed I instantly realised I had added two of the same bikini top to the cart by mistake instead of the top and the bottom - an easy mistake considering the image for both items is exactly the same (picture of the set) and they are both the same price. I emailed them straight away apologising that I had made a mistake, and asked if they could swap one of the tops for the bottoms as there was no price discrepancy. I had a reply within the hour telling me no, that if the size I receive does not work for me (which clearly it wasn’t going to ‘work for me’ as it was two of the exact same item) that I can send it back at my own cost and receive a credit, which by then the items would no longer be on sale leaving me to pay the full price plus the shipping to get the correct item back again. I asked them if they could cancel the order before it is shipped, and provide me with a credit to repurchase the correct items, but was also told no this was not possible. I didn’t want to buy the bottoms whilst still on sale, as their policy states no refunds only store credit, and I did not wish to purchase anything else. As much as I understand this mistake was with me, the customer service team was completely unwilling to help me in any way, and as I continued to argue my point they explained to me their process to cancel or change an order was just simply too difficult. I asked if I sent them back if they could honour the sale price and exchange them over for the bottoms (both the same price), but was also told no, and the customer service employee wrote to me ‘I don’t make the rules but I have to enforce them’.
I am now going to have to pay $10 shipping to post one of the tops back, $23 for the price difference as the sale is now over, and another $10 to have the bottoms shipped to me - an extra $43 total. So I’ve pretty much payed the full price which was way too much in the first place. What an absolute waste of time and money. Clearly this is a company that cares solely about making money, and not at all about their customers. As a large company they also should be considering their waste and their carbon footprint, and not only this, but the world is in the middle of a global pandemic, you’d think they’d want to lessen the contact as much as they can. So angry with my experience.

If there was a negative rating I’d choose that but one star is the lowest they offer. First off- suits run small. So small their largest size didn’t fit. As a result of that they offered me a refund- the bikini bottom cost me 100.00. Second, their company base is in Australia. So I had to pay for international shipping and fill out a customs form at the post office- the cost of that was 20.00. They then refunded my checking account with 58.00. When I e-mailed them to inquire why I was barely refunded half of what I spent, no response. So dealing with this company left me out 62.00 (if I include the cost of shipping to return the item). That’s not including tax so it was technically more. Never ever again. It was an expensive hassle.

sweet company!!

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews... my experience w bamba has been great... so much so i actually sought this out in order to write a good review. I ordered a top and bottom from them a few months back but i changed my mind about the color and sent it back. I was issued a gift card code and got the swim suit i wanted. The whole process took a while but that's bc they're australian and i live in the US. Even though the process was long and not exactly smooth, their customer service is amazing. Every time I emailed them with a question, someone got back to me within a day. They were very nice and helpful!! also their suits are great quality :)

They literally sent me someone else's…

They literally sent me someone else's complete order just because our names were similar. Like nothing. in the order that arrived was mine. I can't even return it and get mine back because of shipping fees to the US. Literal worst online experience ever.

Worst business I have ever dealt with. They wouldn’t even accommodate me with a size exchange when they hadn’t even send my order. This is the type of business who does not care about anything but getting money for their low quality overpriced swimwear!!

This company is awful

This company is awful. They do not accurately describe their sizing on their website and their customer service is next to nothing.

A few weeks ago, I ordered a small swimsuit top from BAMBA after reading that their sizing runs small (normally I am XS). Once I received the order, I tried it on and found that it was not only too small but it was remarkably too small. This company has chose to step outside of the norm when it comes to sizing and decided to write their own standards and is punishing their customers for not being able to fit into sizes they should be able to fit into.

Of course, I asked to return and exchange for a larger size. They replied and sent me a return form that I had to fill out and take to the post office where I had to pay for shipping. The shipping was going to cost me $97.00 USD to return to their Australia location. The swim suit top cost me $70.00 USD. Completely shocked, I decided not to pay for the return because it didn't make sense. Instead, I kindly asked BAMBA to send me a return label so that I could send the item back to them in exchange for a new size. They essentially told me "tough luck / we don't do that". I continued to request for a shipping label and received an email error stating that "the message could not send / their inbox is full". So, basically, I just got scammed.

Please do yourself a favor, and avoid this company. They have bad morals, bad customer service, and are bad bad bad all around.

We now have a full size range, offering size XS-XL in all swim and clothing. Sizing does run a little smaller, but it is inline with the standard Australian guide as we do emphasize to go up. We also allow exchanges now and have prepaid return labels if you wish to pursue this option for return xx

Inaccurate online images with great marketing to suckers!

Items look nothing like the images on line. I ordered two bikinis after much deliberation and was so excited for them to arrive. Terrible material and even more woeful customer service from Silvia at Bamba! Do yourself a favour and stick to the swimwear classic brands

WORST quality 2/10!!! Bad customer service

the marketing for this brand is so good, it really sucks you in. I ordered 2 items, a multi coloured beach shirt and black singlet. Both were the most disgusting material. The cheapest, nastiest make, the stitching was all out of line and the colours were all dull, materials shiny. It would not sell more for $40 in a cheap asian fast fashion store and they sting you for $300!! The absolute worse online purchase I have ever made.
Also, when I asked for someone to call me prior to giving the feedback to bamba they say sorry they couldn't call. Can't call.. really? I am spewing they only do credits as all their items are going to be as awful! DO NOT BUY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Do not recommend

I didn’t see any place to leave a review on the website so I will leave it here. I will not be shopping through this website again. I ordered 400 AUD worth of swim suits and when they arrived none fit like expected. I could only return for store credit and when I tried return shipping was $80 USD. I wasted so much money and it was such a hassle going through the return process. I will not be recommending this company to anyone

Customer service takes a while to…

Customer service takes a while to respond. I tried requesting a return and they did not reply for a couple days. The returns process is also super complicated and you have to pay for return shipping. A waste of time and money imo.

I orderd the Leo bikini and it does not fit so i returned the bikini; they did not answered my e-mails, i thought the bikini was gone and so my money. After a month (!!!!!!) the other bikini arrived and was damaged.
Extremely untrustworthy; do not order there!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service!
I ordered a bikini top in size M and received a size S so i requested a return on their website and they declined it even though they were the ones who sent the wrong bikini. They do not have a phone number on their site only an email where I could not get through to them. You're better off spending your money elsewhere.
